Dr. David Lee, D.C., is originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. After receiving his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of Alberta (Edmonton, Canada), he moved to California to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles. Dr. Lee started practicing family chiropractic in California before moving to Phoenix, AZ in 2006. Upon moving to Arizona, Dr. Lee built and managed three multidisciplinary chiropractic offices in Scottsdale, Tempe and Phoenix, prior to his involvement with The Joint Chiropractic. In 2020 just before the pandemic, he moved up to Bellingham, Washington to help take care of his Dad who came down with Parkinsons. He spends his time between Washington and Arizona.
Through his professional journey, Dr. Lee has learned to serve all types of people from babies to grandparents and a range of cases including but not limited to headaches, migraine relief, pinched nerves, sciatica pain, neck pain and lower back pain through the use of manual manipulation. Dr. Lee is well versed in Diversified, Gonstead and Activator techniques. Realizing that not all techniques and treatment work for everyone, Dr. Lee's goal is to provide the best adjustments possible to the patient's comfort level and utilize as many disciplines as possible to achieve results. He has been The Joint's local chiropractor in Phoenix, Gilbert, Mesa, Surprise and Avondale since 2013 and is honored to serve the Valley.
Dr. Lee says the best thing about being a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic in Bonney Lake and Washington is being able to meet patients from all walks of life and being able to help them achieve their health and wellness goals through back pain relief and preventative healthcare.
Dr. Lee's passion is helping others achieve their goals by maximizing the connection between the brain and the body through a well-adjusted spine. He has consistently demonstrated first-hand how regular chiropractic adjustments not only help to prevent pain and injury, but also serve to promote optimal health and wellness.
During his free time, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with his wife April and his children. He loves action and epic movies. He used to love video games and RPG's but rarely has time for them these days. Dr. Lee also loves handyman work and mechanic work. He used to ride and race sport bikes in Southern California during college.
The one thing in Dr. Lee's refrigerator that he can't do without is flavored drinks because although water is important, it doesn't cut it when it comes to his palette! The coolest thing he has ever done was getting a dog, Stormy, the mini schnauzer. It was the one of the most rewarding experiences in life thus far. Dr. Lee's current favorite quote is 'Don't be a know-it-all. Be a learn-it-all'.
