Dr. Andrew Martino is a graduate of Southern California University of Health Sciences. His hobbies include fitness and the history and philosophy of Chiropractic. Dr. Andrew enjoys helping families through the results of Chiropractic.
Dr. Wolcott was born and raised in Athens Pennsylvania. After completing his bachelor’s degree at Lock Haven University he moved to Florida to pursue a career in personal training. After two years he moved back to Pennsylvania to continue his education and received a masters degree in exercise physiology from the University of Pittsburgh. He then returned to his career as a personal trainer still wanting to help people achieve the healthiest lifestyle possible. Within a year he realized that he was missing a key component to make the impact he wanted in their health journey. After a minor low back injury while weightlifting he went to a chiropractor for the first time. He had found his missing component. Several months later he started his chiropractic education at New York Chiropractic College located in Seneca Falls NY. Dr. Wolcott’s favorite thing about being a chiropractor is helping people realize what wellness truly means and how they can attain it.
Throughout his chiropractic journey, Dr. Wolcott has learned to serve a wide variety of patients ranging from children to grandpparents through the use of manual manipulation. Dr. Wolcott specializes in a variety of ailments, including migraines, upper back pain, lower back pain, neck pain, arthritis, sciatica, and more. When Dr. Wolcott isn't working at The Joint Chiropractic in Yuma, AZ, he can be found in the gym weight training or at home cooking for his family.
Dr. Martin and his fiance, Gloria, were contemplating moving to the Yuma area in a few years to start some early "snowbirding" of their own when they learned of the opening at the Yuma The Joint location. A weekend trip from Chattanooga in November 2022 convinced them that Yuma was the place to be, especially when they discovered that the park model that her parents had owned years ago was for sale, and fully remodeled! Just "good timing?" We think not! A 2000 Honors graduate from Sherman College of Chiropractic, Dr. Martin was in private practice in South Carolina for almost 20 years before moving to Tennessee in 2021. His family practice covered all ages, with his youngest patient being 3 months old, while the oldest was a "young" 96. A diving board injury to his lower back while in college affected his track team scholarship, as he discovered the recuperative benefits of chiropractic. His eyes were opened, however, when he learned that chiropractic is not just for injuries. Dr. Martin continually educates patients and non-patients alike about the wonders of the human body and it's innate ability to heal and function. It truly is amazing!
