Dr. Roger Tsurumoto is a proud husband and father of two girls and a boy. He's been a Chiropractor for 23 years. He graduated from Life Chiropractic College West. He has an advanced certification in Chiropractic Biophysics and a FMT advanced certification from Rock Tape.
I was born in Roseville, grew up in Citrus Heights and graduated from Casa Roble High School and American River College. After suffering from chronic neck and back pain in high school, I obtained relief when a friend recommended her chiropractor to me. He, in turn, encouraged me to pursue chiropractic as a career. I am so grateful to both of them for setting me on this path. After graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, I interned for two years in San Leandro, CA before establishing my own practice back home in Citrus Heights.
After 28 years in private practice, I took a break from chiropractic for several years. When I returned to chiropractic in 2017 I immediately felt that I was "back home" where I belonged. I love working for The Joint because it is so convenient and affordable for patients and because it is a great company and environment for doctors. Chiropractic is an awesome and gratifying career because almost every patient feels some degree of immediate improvement following their adjustment. I love helping people get well and then helping them stay that way.
My wife, Lorin and I have been ecstatically married since 1985 and currently live in Sacramento. We enjoy being together, going on short hikes, watching Korean dramas and spending time with our six adult children and two granddaughters. We love Jesus and are active at Bayside Church in Granite Bay. I grew up studying classical piano and have been active in the past in church music ministries and various sports.
