Zero stars. Warning- Don’t expect them to stop charging you after you cancel your membership. Even after filing a required paper form to cancel my membership, they continued to charge me a monthly subscription fee for nearly a year. When I called to get them to stop charging me, they admitted they had made an error and would issue a refund, but it’s been more than 6 months of waiting, phone tag and messages to the corporate office and still no refund. I’m making this review to warn others to be on guard about this company and in the hope that some action will be taken to finally make this right.

I like The Joint's membership system. Costs so much less than a private insurance chiropractor. I can't speak for all locations or doctors, but Dr. Care is amazing!! My daughter had a couple of sports injuries a few months ago and stopped care while she went to PT. She returned this week to The Joint and saw Dr. Rodriguez. Everything’s is good Dr Dana helped a lot and for a quick fix but I attempted to cancel my membership twice over the phone told me I need put my name in the system to be removed but name was inputted wrong from the beginning called again went to voicemail here I am again today trying to cancel it but straight to voicemail and instead of my original monthly charge now they chose to charge me more as if I restarted my membership I hate writing this but now I have to drive to cancel my membership in person. I decided and planned to put the wellness plan into my budget again. So I went into the Costa Mesa location to start paying monthly again. When I got in the lobby was full. So I knew I was in for a wait, but I was ok with that. The lady at the front desk seemed very busy so she asked me for my phone number and wrote it down. The wait was so much worse than I thought it would be. Another customer made a comment. I told myself: no biggie just a little wait. Then I started to notice that the chiropractor was so incredibly talkative to all his clients, which cool and all, but before I knew it I’ve been waiting almost an hour. We all had to just sit there and listen to these conversations. Then I realized: maybe I don’t want to be member, now I remember some reasons why I cancelled. Eventually the lady at the front desk says she forgot to make me do the paperwork. Whatever I know the drill. It’s been more than 90 days. But this worried me cause I’ve already been waiting a long time. Sure enough, when it was my turn I hear the conversation in the back between the receptionist and the chiropractor. The doctor didn’t want to take a “new” patient. My last time there was Feburary. So he took the person that came 30 minutes after me. I felt so disrespected. I’d been waiting an hour. This lady just got here. I decided to forfeit my hour I spent waiting and told them to forget it. Other chiropractic options out there.

My husband and i go here every now and than and we went yesterday September 15, 2025 a little before 2pm for my husband to get attended the guy at the front desk was very rude to him didn’t welcome him in just asked for his number in an annoyed voice which was not very nice also i went in after he was already getting attended and i told the guy hi i’m just going to wait for my husband he didn’t even acknowledge me couldn’t get his phone off his hands.. I also forgot to mention that when my husband payed his visit here at this location payed him with a big bill and he was like ugh and shrugged his shoulders to drop. I really did not like the experience we had here will need to find another location because we don’t want to run into this rude guy at the front desk . Bad experience the older lady is so much nicer

Great place and so affordable! I took advantage of the $29 Consultation, exam and adjustment. The beauty of THE JOINT is that is exactly what you pay! NO HIDDEN COSTS…NO HIGH PRESSURE UPSELLING YOU. Very transparent business model and as I said so very affordable. If you opt for a plan as I did your cost is about $23 a visit once a week per month. There are different plans/ packages to choose from or just drop in when you need it. I was thrilled with my experience and Dr. Dana was fantastic! I’m going back to see her again tonight:)

Love this place!! I came in here barely able to move and in excruciating pain. This place is magical. In a world where everything seems to be getting more expensive and purely profit driven, this business does the complete opposite. I can’t name a single other health related service that is so reasonably priced, out of pocket. I just can’t say enough about it. Truly grateful for businesses who could easily charge more, but choose not to, for the sake of their customer base. I would recommend The Joint Chiropractic to anyone and everyone with back issues. Dr. Rodriguez was thorough in his assessment. This was my first time ever chiropractic visit to try and fix a longtime cumulative shoulder/neck and back pain, and he made it quite an informative and comfortable experience. Honestly didn’t know I had so many places that could pop/crack, but I went in stiff and came out like jello. I feel better coming out from the appt than I did going in, so I’m taking my husband to help with his chicken neck.

I usually love going to The Joint because I can still get chiropractic care when I’m traveling. I went to the Costa Mesa location for the first time yesterday and had a terrible experience with the doctor. The woman working the front desk was wonderful and so friendly, but when I went back for my adjustment, the doctor basically talked at me the entire time instead of asking how my back and neck were feeling and what I needed adjusted. I didn’t feel like I could even get a word in with the lecture the doctor was providing and I barely got adjusted at all. I’ve been having a lot of pain in my lower back and he didn’t address it. I left feeling uncomfortable and frustrated with this experience since I feel like I wasted one of my visits.

Arrived 1:20pm on Wed 12/4. The storefront closes at 2. I was the second person in line. Checked in. Had been to multiple joint chiropractics in the past. After sitting for 20 minutes while the doctor was flogging his dolphin in the back - he proceeds to notify the front desk associate that i need to fill out “new patient” paperwork. Meanwhile, my last visit to a franchise was approx 2 months ago. Whatever- i fill out the paperwork without attitude. Its 1:45p now the paperwork is complete. Its my turn. The doctor says he needs more time to complete an exam before his lunch. Now ive been the The joint 2 dozen times and i dint think ive ever been in there more than 5 minutes - consultation or not. I will return just so i can have this conversation face to face. I want all the smoke.

We are on vacation from Indiana and my 10yo daughter hurt her neck. She was in pain for about 24 hours before we decided to take her in for help. We Googled chiropractors near our hotel and found Joint Chiropractic. We walked right in and Dr. Pablo Rodriguez saw her and treated her. He then asked us to come back later in the evening for a followup consult. We leave tomorrow to fly home and he was genuinely worried about her getting relief prior to our flight. Amazing service. This place is a scam and the staff is absolutely horrible at customer service. Cancelled my membership back in May after 2 years of paying for the service. I didn't come in often enough to keep the monthly and they are still charging my card. Called in and they couldn't find my account for 20 minutes and now they are not honoring my cancellation from May. This place runs like a shady gym that forces you to come in and cancel your membership and their staff is trained to do everything to not cancel your membership. Don't sign up for an account, there are so many other options out there that are just as affordable and better.

Went here the other day and the chiro was sort of rude and dismissive. Unfortunately out of the 2 joint locations I've been to its always hit or miss. Absolutely love this place! My back was hurting really badly a year ago, to the point where I couldn’t stand up without assistance, my legs were uneven, and my back was crooked. My girlfriend immediately looked for chiropractors and took me here. I was greeted by the receptionist, Suzanne, who is always very kind and helpful. She helped me choose membership plans and patiently explained each one to me. I ended up getting the plan that costs $20 a month, and $20 per visit. Upon meeting Dr. Rodriguez for the first time, he asked me a bunch of questions and examined me thoroughly before performing any adjustments. He listened to all of my problems and addressed all of my concerns, as I was nervous since I’ve never been to a chiropractor before. After my adjustment, my back was immediately straighter and there was less pain and tension in my back. I was told to come again within the next few days to perform maintenance on my back. Within a week, i was feeling better than i was before the back pain. As a CNA who’s always on my feet and dealing with a heavy workload, I can say that visiting Dr. Rodriguez has changed my life. Today, I look forward to visiting Dr. Rodriguez and Suzanne at least once a week to keep my back healthy. I highly recommend this place for the kindness, patience, and for improving my quality of life.

The doctors are great, but I’ve had really uncomfortable experiences with the receptionists. There’s one receptionist who has (more than one time) told Clients how unhelpful the healthcare field is and tries to get them to attend her “workshops”. This individual had no idea I that I own a healthcare professional business which is extremely insulting to an entire profession. It’s quite pathetic that the receptionist feels she has to take joint chiropractic clients over to her pretend healing workshops , you might want to look into this not very professional.

As a follow up I went to another location three miles away the next day and went through the entire intake process and got my problem fixed and it took 25 mins. The receptionist lied to me. And now the owner is supporting her and reinforcing her dishonest behavior by not take responsibility for it. Original review: The receptionist lied to me!!! I read through many of the reviews for new patient intake and I was flat out lied to by the receptionist. The owner's response to other questions says that new patient intake including paper work, consultation, and adjustment is 20-30 mins. I arrive at 4:10pm at the Harbor Blvd location in Costa Mesa having never been there before. It was Sunday and they close at 5pm. Their was no one waiting and I saw the only patient leave just as I walked in. The receptionist refuse to take me and said it would take too long. I ask how long it would take. Her response was it would take over an hour and we close at 5pm. Why lie, just say you didn't really want to do you job! I am really disappointed that she wouldn't entertain helping me. I guest my severe back pain wasn't worth 20-30 mins of her time. It is 4:40pm right now. As far as the owner's comments suggest, I would be done right now. She is a poor reflection on your practice. Someone needs to have a chat with her about honesty.

What I liked most about The Joint Chiropractic is the national wide network I live in CA but have needed to visit OH and the network is seamless. ?????? Since the network is seamless, my treatment protocol has continued uninterrupted. At this location the two DCs have different and complimentary treatment styles that I benefit from. Dr. Noori is 'old school' with manipulations and massage. Dr. Rodriguez is more high-tech with the activators. Since I've been a patient here my sciatica pain has greatly decreased and my posture has improved dramatically from years of sitting at a desk that was not ergonomically correctly set up. The DCs here are very busy because they are so good. There have been times when I've had to stop by multiple times to be seen. The docs tailor each session to what your needs are. If you can make the time to do so, wait to be treated. You'll be doing yourself a favor.

My absolute worst fear is going to the chiropractor and having my neck adjusted. It's honestly one of the scariest things in life for me. Seems very scary!! I really enjoy Sundays or Mondays with Dr Noori. I prefer deep adjustment and he provides a very through chiropractic experience. Dr Noori takes extra time to identify and relieve all pain without me pointing out anything specifically. I can develop deep compression in my upper back from working on a computer and he released the tension multiple ways. He is also one of the only Doctors who actually cracks my spine with the twist off of the table. Don't forget to apply ice or heat after any adjustment.

As a Certified Personal Fitness Trainer, I have come across many injuries and have ongoing scoliosis lower back issues that make squats hard. Dr. Winthrop is the best. I went with my girlfriend when she was getting an adjustment. He was so great with her that I signed up and have been going back every week to see him. I like The Joint's membership system. Costs so much less than a private insurance chiropractor. I can't speak for all locations or doctors, but Dr. Care is amazing!! I planned my visits around her schedule. She helped resolve any immediate pain I had, including my first visit when I could barely walk in. I regained so much range of motion in my neck over time. She's also very kind & personable & I felt like she got to know me over the years.

I was happy with them for years until they made terrible mistakes in my automatic billing during the COVID restrictions timeframe. It was VERY DIFFICULT to resolve a billing error. I spoke to several of their associates at various levels, and locations, as well as their corporate offices and was unable to even receive a minimal reimbursement for what they unethically auto collected. The parent company behind the local stores is ruthless & corrupt. Although the doctors I saw there were all amazing, I would not recommend signing a contract for service or auto billing with The Joint. Go elsewhere.

Care is great, but their front office needs some serious improvement in terms of transparency of monthly plans, and communication. I would highly recommend for single sessions, but would highly discourage people from signing up for monthly plans. Don't let the friendly atmosphere fool you. They are not forthcoming about the details of the monthly subscription, make it very difficult to manage it and very poor communicating your plan details or what it means to you.

The Costa Mesa Harbor location is excellent! I love The Joint because it is affordable compared to many other Chiropractors in the area and they keep excellent documentation of what adjustments have been received. I went in with lower back pain and felt much better after only 2 visits! I bought a 6 visit package because I do have a lot of chronic neck pain from as well, and the team members at The Joint knows how to heal!

I've been to more than a few chiropractors but no other like Dr Cleveland. I do not mind in the least driving 26 miles to come see him as I know the care I will receive is exceptional. Definitely recommend him and the staff at The Joint in Costa Mesa.
