I’ve been hesitant to go into joint chiropractic because I didn’t want to be given the big rush about buying packages and being committed, as I travel all the time and I just don’t like that approach. However, it was not like that at all, and I was given numerous choices, including just being able to walk in. The best chiropractic care in San Diego! tldr: see Dr. Alex Kamsi and you won't regret it. I haven't been to the other joint locations, but I like that they allow me to use my package visits at any location. I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Alex Kamsi, since he is the best chiropractic doctor I have had in my +11 years of receiving chiropractic care in Korea and America. Everyone here is so friendly and Dr. Alex Kamsi gets me feeling pain-free in a matter of minutes. I feel like the trend lately is to hate on chiropractic places that fix your alignment efficiently and have you out the door in 15 min, but as a busy individual, I prefer efficient care, rather than spending an hour waiting, stretching, or sitting on a massage table or chair before getting adjusted. Dr. Alex Kamsi's ability to identify my pain spots and problems so quickly is astounding and he is able to get me moving and out the door feeling no pain for 2+ weeks. I also have to give props to the people here for not overselling and trying to price gouge me for chiropractic care. Their packages are fairly priced for the quality and I love that they allow walk-ins (not a lot of places do anymore or make you pay fees for being late/no-show). Pain is unpredictable so having a place I can just pop into is HUGE!

I came in to the Joint unable to walk properly. I had never been to a chiropractor. I was skeptical to say the least. Dr Ray showed me the spine model and how it worked and he was very gentle. I left, thinking whatever. Within 2 hours I was virtually pain free. I always thought the muscles were more important. They are both important. My pelvis was out of whack and pinching my nerve and he fixed me!!!! I signed up for the monthly wellness plan which I believe is reasonable and worthwhile .

Miracle! I have been driving by this place for almost 10 years. I visit The Fountain of Youth shop next door 1-2x/week. Today- I went in with terrible vertigo. I've been to several join locations throughout San Diego county. In my experience, there are some good and some not-so-good chiropractors in the network. However, I was really pleased to be introduced recently to Dr. Ray in the Encinitas office! He is an intuitive and very skilled practitioner. Beyond this, he is very kind and makes you feel at ease! My neck can be challenging to adjust for some chiropractors, but Dr. Ray gets it right every time! I highly recommend going to see him Mon - Thurs when he's in office.

Before I decided to come to the joint, I was told I had arthritis and that I needed chiropractic treatment. I started going to the joint because of their incredible prices. And at first I was nervous, but as I kept going I built trust and feel 100% better than I do every time I come in! Dr. Ray is amazing at making sure I am warmed up and relaxed before he does the adjustments. Both doctors in the Encinitas location are amazing. (Having trouble remembering the woman doctor) but she is incredible too. Highly recommend the Joint for its practitioners. I’ve always had a great experience.

I felt pressured by their front desk staff to sign up for a membership that would have me coming in and getting adjusted twice a week, which is way more often than any healthy person my age should be getting adjusted. Adjusting that often can do more harm than good. I wrote a review online about this experience, and later received a phone call from someone representing The Joint Chiropractic. The person I spoke to on the phone called because of my review and told me I “had a bad doctor” and that was the reason they tried to pressure me into a membership. To me, this was clearly a lie, because the adjustment itself that I received was fine. Multiple people at the front desk and the doctor tried to convince me to purchase a membership, it was clear that they were trying to make a sale and that their supervisor had instructed them to try to make these sales and get people to come in and get adjusted more than their bodies actually need, for profit of course. I no longer trust this company/brand and will never return to any location. The entire experience was off putting and uncomfortable. It seems like they care more about sales and profit than people’s health.

Poor customer service. I called because they charged my credit card without my authorization. In the past I paid for an annual membership but I no longer wish to receive treatment. They decided to charge my credit card a monthly fee without authorization. When I told the receptionist my situation there was no apology given. All she kept saying was that it was out of her control. I asked if I could talk to her manager and I asked for her name but she just hung up on me. I would not support this business as they are very unprofessional.

Fantastic! I walked in barely able to move and I walked out upright. I would say I was 70% better after the first visit 80% better after the second visit. I have had several great experiences with the joint chiropractic in Encinitas and I really love working with Chris. He seems very passionate, knowledgeable, gentle and extremely thorough. He possesses a great bedside manner and again has a very kind and caring way about him!I’ve witnessed him with several other patients that were in front of me and he seems to treat everybody with great respect! It is easy to get in affordable and it’s some thing that I now have as a part of my maintenance repertoire as I am a master yoga practitioner and teacher and I also specialize in freestyle, and Afro Egyptian belly dancing! I find that this is very essential to my overall balance and wellness and peace of mind! The monthly fee that you pay for being able to come in unlimited times, Which is only I believe $19 a month with an additional $15 per visit as well worth it as insurance alone. It ends up saving you money if you are active or if you are on the other end of the spectrum in active and need someone to move your body to keep you balanced with day-to-day living! UPDATE #1: Please do not ruin our little community healing center. Treat the doctors with the respect that they deserve, also please be nice to the girls at the front desk and pay everyone fairly. Hi guys, just want to share with you my last experience with The Joint Chiropractor. I'm from Encinitas, California and I have been visiting specialists, I had welness program 2 times and was really satisfied. The one problem which is really important and meaningful for me is that at the end of my program, when I cancelled my membership the 2nd time, they did not do it! It means, that next 4 month they charged money and I had no clue about it! Crazy! They did not send me any confirmation about chargin $79 every month. When I've already found out, I talked with them, they refunded me the last payment, but not the other 3. And now they are continuing to explain me that there is nothing they can do. They said about signing the cancelling membership paper, but they did not mentioned it when we talked about my last visit and the end of visiting the office. What am I supposed to do now?! How can I have my money back?

This company is amazing. Multiple locations, kind and caring staff, quick visits, and amazingly reasonable prices for multiple adjustments a month. I have been a member for over 6 months now, and will probably be one for many years to come. Terry is the man! He is my favorite chiropractor at The Joint, and is super caring and personable. Other than just giving me quick adjustments, he always asks if I have anything new or specifically bothering me when I walk through the door that may need to be addressed or focused on, he gets to know you on a real level, and also helps give me stretches if I have a specific ailment that I'm trying to treat other than just frequent adjustments. I don't think I have ever experienced a chiropractor at The Joint that I have not liked. It is so convenient, even when on road trips. I took a road trip up to Sacramento, and after such a long time sitting in the car, I needed to be realigned before I could actually begin my vacation. Did a search, found one on the highway I was on, went in and was treated the same as I was down south near San Diego, which is where I reside. They have all of my information on my file in their system of all previous visits and comments of my pain levels or discomforts. It was a quick visit and I was off to enjoy my vacation. I love The Joint and suggest it to all family and friends, or anybody who is looking for good quality care!

This is the best Joint Chiropracter of them all! Terry was my Chiropracter and I really felt like he cared about me and my personal adjustment. I travel for work and get to visit many “Joint” establishments here in San Diego which all have phenomenal Chiropracters, but this one is exceptional. He really personalized my visit and gave me a couple extra minutes of his brain that I really needed. I didn’t feel like a number I felt valued. I have been with The Joint now for about 4 months or so. I have always had sufficient service each visit as I understand that it’s an agreement for a quick adjustment each time. However, the doctor at the Encinitas location has changed all of that for me! I am a big surfer and golfer, both of which require flexibility and stability in my hips legs and back. When I had my first consultation with the doctor here, I was shocked that he did a full exam before any adjusting at all. He diagnosed my mid to low back issues as problems directly connected to my very tight hip flexors. He was so right. He gave me stretches to do daily that eventually released the pressure in my back and has increased both my swing speed and paddle endurance. Each visit I learn more than the one before, and I’m so stoked to have found this little gem. Although I live in San Diego downtown, I gladly come out of my way anytime I’m even remotely in the area to see this doctor. I would certainly recommend you come to this location so that you can experience the same life changing relief and help I have.

I've had a really great experience with the team at The Joint Chiropractic in Encinitas. Dr. Blackwell is a pro, he tunes in to where the adjustment is needed and makes it happen! He gives friendly, no nonsense suggestions and I feel like he honestly cares about my wellbeing. The front desk team is fantastic as well, Caryn always greets me with a smile and remembers my name. She was really helpful in guiding me on the right package for my needs as well. My only wish is that this team and the Joint were in Del Mar or Carmel Valley so I could get in a little more regularly. Great space, professional and friendly team and affordable wellness plans!

I love this whole team! The manager is one of the most empathetic, resourceful women I've ever met. She works with me on finding the best plan for me. My schedule is erratic and when I need an adjustment this team is always there for me. No long waits ever. Dr B is incredibly knowledgeable and has taken on a lifelong female issues I've had since my teens and Im amazed to learn at almost 50 that chiropractic even cures symptoms from fibroids, perimenopause, fertility issues, and painful menstruation! Dr Josh is also amazing. He has the most gentle and efficient adjustments I've ever experienced. I'm a massage therapist at a busy clinic and I refer all my clients that need chiropractic Care here!

Never fear- Dr Alex Kamsi is near! I’ve been to a number of chiropractic doctors over the years, and I can honestly say that Dr. Alex Kamsi stands out. I used to see him at the Encinitas location, and I’m really glad I found him again at The Joint Chiropractic in San Marcos. As a tall, athletic guy and an active cyclist, I can immediately feel the difference when Alex treats me. His adjustments are precise, strong, and effective — you can tell he really understands how the body works and how to tailor each session to your needs. We went in at 6:30 and got an appt. for both of us, back-to-back, at 7:00. We will be back! I started coming here two years ago. I was in constant nagging back pain that never would stop. After 4-5 months of going and getting adjusted 4 times a month my back started staying aligned. I also had chronic shoulder pain and I started getting that adjusted also. Here I am 2 years later and I have no back pain. If I miss 2-3 weeks of treatments my back starts to get out of place and I can tell instantly before it gets bad and I go get an adjustment. I’m sold on maintenance chiropractic. Waited for 20-30 minutes while the chiropractor sat and chatted with a patient. Meanwhile more and more people are walking in and the woman in front of me got so tired of waiting in the lobby she moved to the room where they were talking and sat there so the chiropractor could see her and her daughter waiting there. Who knows if the chiropractor adjusted the person or not. They just talked forever and I eventually decided to leave after 30 minutes... because it felt like the chiropractor didn’t want to keep the line moving/ do their job. Overall it was pretty sad and felt like a big waste of time.

Having never been to a Chiropractor, I wasn't quite sure what to expect when I limped into the The Joint in Encinitas. I was experiencing some pretty intense sciatica pain and finally gave in. By "gave in," I mean I called every Chiropractor in North County Saturday night on the off chance that I might find one willing to see me the next day. The Joint is the only office I found whose doors were open on a Sunday, and I can't applaud them enough for this. After filling out some medical questionnaires, privacy notices and such, I was introduced to Dr. Brooks who listened as I explained what I believed was the source of my pain, and how long it had been going on. He laid me down and conducted a brief exam before executing two adjustments on my Lower back / hip. The entire process took less than 30 minutes and he gave me a brief diagnosis and treatment regimen. About as easy as any single medical procedure could be. The office is sparse but elegant. Simple furnishings and a concrete floor highlight the facility. Pricing is exceptionally low. I could have used the $19.95 introductory for checking in for the first time. But instead was offered my first visit free of charge after happily purchasing a package which included a succession of appointments to adjust my spine and ensure my hip and lower back healed properly. I'm extraordinarily happy with the level of care I received at The Joint and with Dr. Brooks and his staff. Great Office, Great facility, Great Job. Happy adjusting! -Justin

This place has really been amazing for me, in particular Dr. Assadian. I was having some extremely intense neck issues. I really was desperate and my sister told me to to visit this doctor since she is only in on Friday's and Saturday's. I went to go see her and instantly my wry neck (the type of injury) I had started to heal. The pain kept shifting in my neck, and everytime she was able to find it and do something that improved the condition. She knows what she is doing and I am very grateful to her. I wish she was available more throughout the week though. Also the price is extremely reasonable on a monthly pass, I was in the situation where it was too good to pass up, really happy and thankful.
