Dr. Sara Hines joined The Joint Chiropractic’s network of doctors in May of 2019. She attended Life Chiropractic College West where she obtained her Doctor of Chiropractic in 2016. Dr. Hines became the local chiropractor in San Diego, CA in May and is excited to serve the local community.
Dr. Hines realized early on that chiropractic care was her calling after observing the power of the adjustment and how it has benefited others.
Dr. Hines says the best thing about working in the chiropractic field is working with the people.

Dr. Hines also loves to educate her local community on the benefits of chiropractic care. She is inspired by the education and continued research in the field that leads to growth and change in perspective towards more preventative healthcare.

When Dr. Hines isn’t working at The Joint Chiropractic in San Diego, CA, she loves being out in nature, grabbing coffee with friends and spending time with her husband, Dr. Tayte Hines, also a chiropractor at The Joint Chiropractic.
Dr. Paul Carlson, D.C. was born and raised in Long Beach, CA and has always had a passion for helping others. That is why Dr. Carlson obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1980 from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Los Angeles, California.
Dr. Carlson prides himself on his patient care. He believes the best thing about his job is having a platform to promote health and wellness through chiropractic adjustments. Dr. Carlson also finds that one of the most rewarding things about his job is seeing his patients get well and stay active.
During his 37 years as a chiropractor, Dr. Carlson has learned to serve a range of patients from infants to grandparents with a range of cases including neck pain, sciatica pain, upper back pain, lower back pain, migraines and much more.
Dr. Carlson has been The Joint Chiropractic’s local chiropractor in Costa Mesa, California since December 2016 and is honored to serve, help and educate his local community.
