Dr. David Simpson is an east coast transplant who now resides in the Sacramento area. Born and raised in New Jersey, he attended Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and spent a total of ten years in the greater Boston area. He was a physical therapist assistant for 6 years, a receptionist in an imaging department for 3 years, and a personal trainer for 5 years.
He graduated in 2007 with a BS in exercise physiology. He attended and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic, West in July 2016.
Dr. Simpson uses a diversified chiropractic technique for manual adjustments. What this means is that he tries to utilize the best adjusting techniques for each individual body and/or complaint that ends up on his adjusting table. This might mean you get a slightly different adjustment than the person before you, or it might be a bit of a different adjustment visit to visit. The end goal is to re-establish the normal joint motion throughout the body and decrease pain and increase function and well being for all the patients that come through the clinic doors.
Dr. Simpson started working for The Joint in mid January of 2021 and has since been promoted to Clinic Director of the Folsom clinic in May of that same year. He works with a wide range of patients from newborns to the elderly, and athletes to the sedentary/office workers.
When Dr. Simpson isn’t busy adjusting patients in the clinic, he is busy with his wife and two young daughters. You can probably find them at the park or out in the Sacramento area. He enjoys the Boston sports scene and enjoys his family when not at work.
