Pilates

Evolved Body Studio in Gold River offers Pilates classes. Pilates is similar to yoga but it focuses more on strengthening the muscles rather than simply improving joint flexibility. This step class has you doing a real cardio workout due to the intense choreography that proves more challenging than most step options. You'll boost your cardio and strength in this 30-minute calorie-blasting class.

Yin Yoga

Take it really slow and join the Yin Yoga class offered at Gold River Sports Club. This class will have you focusing on your deep breathing and learning to hold and maintain a pose for longer intervals. Improving joint flexibility and enhancing your circulation are the goals.
