Meet The Doctors
Dr. George C Win D.C. was born in Burma and grow up in Hong Kong. Dr. Win holds a Bachelor of Science degree, with a major in Biology and a minor in Psychobiology, plus a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University College of Chiropractic in 1997. He has completed a post-graduate study with DACBN (Diplomat American Chiropractic Neurology Board) and has spent an additional 200 hour post-graduation studying advanced brain-based chiropractic neurology resulting in certification by the American Chiropractic Neurology Council for functional neurological conditions. Dr Win also holds an Applied Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice (AFMCP) certification with the Institute of Functional Medicine since 2004.
Upon receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree, Dr. Win started practicing chiropractic in San Gabriel Valley Los Angeles area for over 25 years. He has been The Joint’s local chiropractor in La Verne since March 2022.
Dr. Win says the best thing about being a chiropractor is being able to relief pain for his patients without depending on pain medication and prevent unnecessary surgeries.
In his spare time, he enjoys watching movies, read books and spend time with his dog.
In Case You Didn’t Know
The one thing in Dr. Win’s refrigerator that he can’t do without is fruits especially clementine and apple. The coolest thing he has ever done was climbing to one of the highest point of the China Great Wall when he visited Beijing China in 2009.
Dr. Jack Bergstrom, DC is from California, and grew up in the Los Angeles area. Earning a Bachelor of Science degree from California Baptist University in Riverside California in 2017, with an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with a sports medicine concentration. Dr. Bergstrom then attended Southern California University of Health Sciences in Whittier CA. earning his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2021.
Dr. Bergstrom began practice in La Verne California in a multi-faceted chiropractic office, specializing in diversified chiropractic adjustments.
Dr. Bergstrom joined The Joint Chiropractic in February 2022. He enjoys “being able to see many different people daily and learn new things from each person to help the next”.
Dr. Sherman Gee, DC, was born and raised in the city of Los Angeles, California, an area that taught him how to connect and relate to a diverse population. Dr. Gee received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from UC Santa Barbara.
Dr. Gee loved the chiropractic approach to healthcare and the interaction with people, and enrolled at National College of Chiropractic, one of the leading chiropractic colleges.
Since graduating, Dr. Gee has had a fulfilling career in the personal injury and sports medicine fields. Now, working with The Joint in West Covina, Dr. Gee states that he likes The Joint's model because he is able to see the positive results in the people that are receiving routine adjustments. Dr. Gee particularly believes in the wellness plan that The Joint offers.
When not practicing chiropractic care, Dr. Gee attends church and loves playing sports, especially basketball. Dr. Gee is a testament to routine chiropractic care, eating healthy and exercising. Dr. Gee has been married for 34 years and has one daughter.
