Meet The Doctors
Dr. Jacob Gilly grew up in Sacramento. He graduated from the UC Davis college of biological sciences in 2012 and later graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 2016. He is a father of a lively and lovely girl, and has been happily married for years.
He has studied numerous chiropractic techniques and is always excited to learn more! He is currently studying sign language (ASL) for those patients who may be hard of hearing. His hobbies include live action roleplaying in a game called Amtgard on the weekends. He also enjoys camping, nerd culture, and technology.
Dr. Gregory Nelson is a 2024 Palmer College of Chiropractic – West graduate. Dr. Gregory Nelson grew up in a small town in Washington State, originally graduating with a Bachelor of Arts – Accounting at Western Washington University (WWU). He was a member of the Beta Alpha Psi group, gaining first-hand networking and customer service experience. After working as an Accountant at a public trucking company for 4 years, he started searching for holistic health care career opportunities to pursue his burning desire to help people. His mother was in a bad car accident during this time and started to see a family chiropractor that changed her life. A light bulb went off in his head and knew this was the career for him. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic, Palmer College of Chiropractic – West campus in March 2024. During his time at Palmer College, academically, he was a Dean’s List recipient and served as Associated Student Government (ASG) President 2022-2023. Clinically, he was one of few recognized as a Clinical Excellence intern for his professionalism and outstanding quality of care to his patients. He also treated at multiple sports council events as a Sports Council member – Treasurer 2021-2023, helping treat a wide variety of conditions. In addition, while attending PCC, he was the Soccer Club President giving students an evening each week of competition and maintaining an active lifestyle. His motto “Today is another day to be great” will be shown in his quality of care to the patients. He is eager about becoming a member of The Joint Chiropractic to help patients regain their active lifestyle to achieve their personal and movement goals. He enjoys Team sports, exercising, travel, meeting new people, music, movies, being outdoors (hiking, camping, paddleboarding), volunteering, reading, group activities, and learning new things.
