Meet The Doctors
Dr. James Yi’s passion for health and fitness took root during his service in the United States Marine Corps, where a strong commitment to physical well-being was instilled in him. Following an honorable discharge, he translated this dedication into a career focused on optimizing the health and physical abilities of others.
Having earned a bachelor's degree in exercise science from CSU Long Beach, Dr. Yi continued his academic journey at Palmer Chiropractic College West, graduating in 2023. Proficient in diversified chiropractic techniques, he is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for musculoskeletal injuries, emphasizing the importance of an active lifestyle for overall wellness.
With a background in Taekwondo, wrestling, and snowboarding from his youth, Dr. Yi embodies his commitment to an active lifestyle. Beyond his professional duties, you'll often find him pushing his physical limits at the gym, exploring scenic hiking trails, attending live concerts, or enjoying diverse culinary experiences.
Dr. Yi's mission extends beyond his practice, aiming to empower individuals to seamlessly integrate wellness into their lives. Through his professional guidance, he seeks to foster a community that values holistic health and vitality.
Dr. Paul McKenna graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 1996. He speaks some French (exchange student in France for 1 year after high school) and some Spanish (he was born in Argentina and Spanish was his first language). His family moved back to the US when he was about 4 1/2, and he also studied Spanish in college.
He loves to travel, spend time with his dogs and his wife, spend time with family and friends, listen to music, all kinds of physical activities (hiking, biking, etc.), cooking, especially with others, helping out in our community (especially wildfire prevention), going to concerts, plays, etc.
He and his wife just celebrated their 19th anniversary. He was previously married, after graduating from Chiropractic College and after the divorce, came back to Northern California, as he had family here. He has three sisters and one brother. Currently, his younger sister lives in Eugene, OR with her husband and his two other sisters and brother all live in the Bay Area.
