This office is great. After my first visit today, 6/14/26, It is the first time in a very long time, my right sciatic has been pain free and very little pain in the left sciatic. The doc told me I'm having digestive issues, which was true, without having to do any invasive tests. Suggested digestive supplements, even showed us on the internet. I plan on going back for more adjustments soon. Thanks guys. <3

Dr. Yi is wonderful. My daughter has neck pain after going on the roller coasters at the amusement parks. She sees Dr. Yi who’s very attentive and details on the problems as well as the work he would do to help her.
After the 1st visit, about 60% back to normal. After 2nd visit, she said her left side is totally normal, her right side improves to 85-90%.
I got the 6-visit package and I don’t think she will use them all. Only 2 visits & her problem is almost gone.
We can’t thank Dr.Yi enough. Not even a pill & the price of his service is surprisingly affordable.

I would have given 5 stars for the chiropractor alone because he was great. The appointment system and set-up is definitely different than what people are used to. For the appointment system, just because you have an appointment that doesn’t necessarily mean you’d be seen at that time. This has to do with their “walk-in” system. For my scenario, I made an appointment online for 4:30. However a new patient walked in about 15 minutes before my appointment and because it’s a “walk-in” system they began her appointment. I was told this would set back my appointment by 30-40 minutes because of the amount of time it usually takes with new patients. It was strange and inconvenient but I understood; I was a new patient as well. I decided to fill out the paper work and return the next day because my issue wasn’t severe. I returned the next day, went into the back area, and received treatment. It was kind of weird that it was an open area with 3 tables. The lack of privacy was kind of off putting especially because while I was receiving treatment 2 patients were sent in to the treatment area to sit and wait while I was receiving my treatment. Is it possible to install a curtain for a little privacy? I get the system they’re using, it just felt a little uncomfortable. I’m going to continue to give it a try because the chiropractor was great and they take my insurance. Anyhow, it might be different than you’re used to but I do see the benefit of being able to “walk-in”.

The wellness coordinator was helpful but when I went there in a lot of pain they made me fill a huge form asking for multiple details that had nothing to do with my back issue. Since the place was floating with a lot of people and only one doctor it was pretty busy when I got the chance to talk to the chiropractor. The doctor was skilled and adjusted my back as soon as I told him he problem. It would have been better if he could have spent some time in helping me understand better about the issue and why it caused and how to prevent it from occuring again. Apart from that the visit was smooth and simple.

I had a very positive experience at joint Chiropractor in San Jose.
From the moment I arrived, the front desk staff made a great impression. The young tall receptionist with curly hair (I didn’t catch his name) was outstanding. He was patient, attentive, knowledgeable, and truly excellent at customer service, especially for someone so young. He took time to listen and explain things clearly, which made me feel comfortable and welcomed. He was definitely the highlight of my visit. There was quite a bit of paperwork to complete on an iPad, which took some time, but it was manageable. The chiropractor was very kind, professional, and had great bedside manner. He was attentive and made sure I was comfortable throughout the session. He did a great job adjusting my back. However, my main concern is neck and shoulder pain, and I didn’t feel much relief there, as my neck couldn’t really be adjusted the way I had hoped. Overall, it was still a good experience, and I appreciate the care and professionalism of the team.

My appointment was scheduled for 11:00 AM today due to persistent and significant collar bone pain. I made a substantial effort to be punctual, but the entire check-in experience was frustratingly disorganized and deeply disrespectful of my time and my condition.
The problem began immediately with the front desk attendant. Despite the office being empty and the attendant completing a call, I was left unacknowledged until I initiated the check-in process myself. My expectation was not even for high respect, but simply for the attendant to perform the minimum courtesy of recognizing a new patient who is clearly in pain. The attendant seemed highly unorganized and set a tone of unprofessionalism from the start.
I was directed to complete a lengthy, highly personal electronic intake form, which significantly delayed the start of my care.
Crucially, the attendant failed to provide any heads-up regarding the length of this form or the expected flow of the office. A simple explanation of the process or a warning about the potential wait could have mitigated my frustration.
Instead, while I was actively completing the required forms, two separate parties arrived and were directed straight back for treatment, effectively skipping the line.
This disorganized and inefficient process resulted in a complete waste of 30-40 minutes of my scheduled time, forcing me to sit in pain unnecessarily. To be openly ignored while I prioritized making the 11:00 AM appointment is frankly unacceptable.
It is disheartening to think of skilled doctors, who spend years studying, potentially losing patients because of such poor front-office management.
The current check-in system and attendant behavior severely degrade the patient experience.

Been and tried several chiropractors in the area and paid a lot of money to help me fix my back issues. I was skeptical with The Joint since it’s a franchise. I am wrong! Dr Yi for the win! Not he adjusts me from head to toe he also takes his time explain what to do post adjustment. Other chiropractor they just pop your back in 1 min and you are done. Thank you for the $150 per session!

I became a patient in 2018 when I was suffering from multiple physical issues. It took a while to get all of the kinks out but I am in much better shape than I was when I started visiting The Joint. I pay for 4 visits a month at an incredibly reasonable price and I just go for weekly maintenance.
The great thing about The Joint is that there a number of them throughout San Jose and I can drop in at any office. The only thing I dislike is that in occasion a great doctor will move on and I have to move around to find someone to replace them.
They are open on Saturdays and Sundays and always post which doctor will be in the office so you can plan your visits.

I went on Sunday, April 27th for a quick adjustment for some pain I had been feeling in my neck. Went in and got the most aggressive adjustment I have ever received. I left and within the hour felt excruciating pain. Monday rolls around and I wake up feeling even worse without being able to move my neck at all. The pain got worse throughout the day and I decided to go to the ER because it was so unbearable. Long story short, I have MRI results that show two herniated discs in my neck. It took an entire week for me to be able to move my neck again and I’m still in physical therapy trying to get back to normal. I don’t know how everyone has had such a good experience but this traumatized me and I’m hoping my honest review will prevent someone else from getting hurt.

I signed up for two months of chiropractic treatment and a monthly membership that would continue until I canceled the contract. I requested to cancel my membership during my last treatment within the two-month period from my first visit. When I checked my HSA account, I discovered six months of charges from Almaden Joint Chiropractic. I contacted them to request a refund for these unauthorized charges, but the doctor in charge at the office was unhelpful and disrespectful. He claimed he would contact the corporate office and get back to me. Later, he called and informed me that they would not issue a refund.
I want patients to be aware that if something goes wrong between you and this chiropractic office, you will not receive any assistance from them. Regardless of the situation, you will be blamed. Proceed with caution!

These service deserved nothing. I contacted one office on Saturday the one in Curtner and I was told I could not b seeing because they need it one hour for new patients. I called next day to confirm I can come in I did 1 hour and 40 minutes before the same office and I was told no because they were busy. I am in a lot of pain. I called two more office right away and another one on King told me there was not coordinator. So they could not take me. I called the in on Cherry suite 20 San Jose. The lady at front told me no because they were busy and I said what I was told to come in one hour. She told me if you get here before 3pm we can take you. I arrived 3 minutes before 3pm which they were closing at 4pm. First she had me show her my Driver License and since I had not physically DL I showed her my picture ID. She was making a case about it until I show her with another card with my picture I was the same person. Then she asked me do you have card to pay? Which I respond yes. Then she give me the tablet to fill paper work. I complete my paper work to finally tell me the doctor was not going to see me. After waiting 30 minutes. On my way to the office and filling up Pa part work. Her service was nasty and discriminating. I left the office I could not believe I am trying to get service as new client and this is how they get to interact with me. I came in since my husband has been a patient and yet he has not been here for few months. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this Company DO NOT WAISTE YOUR TIME. If they want they will take you if they don’t they will justify. The name of the front desk person is Vanessa.

I have been an advocate for chiropractic for many years now and I've been a patient with The Joint for maybe 6 months now. I first signed up with them when my chiropractor of some 15 years closed his practice. Since becoming a patient with The Joint I not only have received great customer service from the front desk staff Vanessa and Johnny at the Almaden/Cherry Plaza in San Jose, but I have also received great chiropractic treatment from the many doctors that have seen me at that location. My wife was a skeptic and after some convincing I was able to get her to at least come in for the first time visit consultation and adjustment special. Let me tell ya, she's now a believer! My wife loves that you can go to any of their over 500 locations nationwide and I love that they are open on weekends aside from holidays and that they are open til 7pm on weekdays. Now that I've been a patient of theirs for the past maybe 6 months I have become partial to seeing Dr. Kushner and Dr. Wang on the days they are in the Almaden/Cherry clinic, however I cannot say anything negative about any of their other talented Chiropractors! Do yourself a favor. If you've got chronic back, neck, or spinal problems you should go see a good chiropractor. Well The Joint has GREAT chiropractors as well as various plans/pricing to fit whatever budget. In my opinikn they are seriously worth every penny for what you get!

I love The Joint at Almaden! Always greeted nicely and rarely have to wait (and I am very sporadic on what time I get in for a visit!). Am always glad when Dr Kushner is in, she takes time to ask if any where is bothering me and makes me feel comfortable. We went to DR. Yi wonderful!! My bf had walked in grumpy and walking funny and walked out with an ear to ear smile with a brisk walk. So it worked !! I frequent this location because Dr. Kushner has been my first preference since I started getting chiropractic adjustments in July-ish 2023. She has made me feel nothing but comfortable from the very beginning. I wasn’t sure the level of treatment one would receive during each visit, so I decided to give it a try. I quickly discovered that a clinic like this is great for a quick adjustment any run of the mill chiropractor can give on the fly, and there is little to no attention to the wholistic set of problem areas me as a client identified on one of the intake forms - its a turn and burn business model for those clients who want to pop in and pop out - especially good for the doctors to get the reps, but seemingly spend little time to tailor treatment to each person based on intake information provided. A trained and experienced physical therapist can easily perform this service. I felt rushed to provide my special c-spine history, which is important. I felt I had to cut short my explanations of very important medical factors the doctor needed to know, especially as multiple clients started trickling in which the “doctor” pivoted to midway into my initial
consultation; and there was no privacy to be had when trying to cover all when the doctor finally returned to me. It was a small room where everyone can hear everything I was sharing. Further, without having all my medical information, the “doctor” summarized my pain issue in a way that dismissed everything I was trying to share with him. My experience from the “doctor” was quite impersonal and lacking. As far a adjustments….I got a couple blows to the back while laying face down and adjustments made while laying sideways (both sides) - that’s it. I noticed the doctor performing these SAME adjustments on more than 5 others in the time frame of about 10-15 minutes, maybe even less. I have to assume that the-more than-5 of us experiencing the same level of treatment have varying degrees of issues that require varying degrees of treatment…but we were all given the same. If you are experiencing chronic and more debilitating issues that require more comprehensive and holistic treatment sessions and assessments, this is not a clinic for you, for sure.

Dr. Davis is a phenomenal chiropractor! I was a mess of inflammation and sharp, miserable neck pain going to see him for the first time, but he picked me up (quite literally because I could barely move) and Snap! Crackle! Pop!’d me back into place. I am so very grateful for his patience and immense expertise. I’m one of those people who avoids doctors like the plague, but my pain was off the charts and getting worse (Pilates exercise gone wrong) and suddenly chewing was a chore and my neck made clicking noises when jostled. Two sessions with Dr. Davis later, I have almost full mobility and the pain is a small fraction of what it was before meeting him! He pays attention to detail & made sure all my needs were met and then exceeded. Cannot recommend him enough!

I cancelled back in MARCH IN PERSON and have been charged every month anywhere from the 14th-17th. I was in one of your locations and cancelled with one of your chiros present, the man with a cane, and an office person. I asked repeatedly if I needed to do anything else, I was assured I would not be charged any further, and my account would be cancelled. The chiro present even tried to sell me other options. Fast Forward to yesterday. My options- basically eat the 4 MONTHS of almost $400. Asked if I wanted a comp 10 visits-NO! You could have at the least offered the amount of visits YOU STOLE FROM ME that I paid for unknowingly. I didn't visit ONCE in these months, had I known I would have complained back then OR OR OR -shocker-use my services YOU STOLE THAT I PAID for!!!! You may be asking how I didn't know- well this is a card I DO NOT USE but once maybe twice a year. I basically was told because YOUR front office person didn't have me sign anything it's MY fault and I just get to eat the money. I am a single mother who is on an extreme fixed income. What is even worse is I haven't even heard back from the REGIONAL Manager... I am going to research and file complaints, try to get my money back from my bank, write reviews wherever I can regarding the scam you run, and MOST DEFINITELY NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. This is a total SCAM. I cancelled in person and they got 4 months of payments for doing absolutely NOTHING. THEY ARE CROOKS who are spotty with their adjustments. Some would do a full adjustment and some would just do one or two spots. The front desk people don't acknowledge you when you walk in and obviously don't know how to do their job-like NOT CANCELLING A CUSTOMER...or maybe they were trained this way in order to steal what they can and say their hands are tied because THEIR IDIOT EMPLOYEE didn't do their job. DO NOT GO TO ANY OF THEIR SITES.

The staff and service is nice, friendly and professional. But the fee/ membership is not clear.
First, when I enrolled in a monthly plan there was no contract/ receipts showing the terms and cancellation guidance at all. I was communicated just verbally in a very brief way so when I miss the cancellation deadline I got automatically charged.
I was also told I got free visits after the monthly plan , again it was only communicated verbally and there was no record showing what I was promised.
So when I went to the store for those free visits, I scanned in - assuming those visits are already included but then only after the visit I was required to pay the session as walk in.
I couldn’t believe this happened agian- verbally promised me something and then nothing shows in my account- because there is no way I could check what was included and promised in the account.
So all those incidents made me feel the fee and membership is a bit scamy and that is probably why this place never provide any written confirmation or communication of what is included in your plan- no receipt, no guidance, no confirmation- everything was just communicated verbally and when you need proof of what you were promised. There is nothing.
So if you want to be clear of what you are promised in your plan. Try to ask for written record.
I decide not to go to The Joint anymore because of this black box situation.

Dr. CC is AMAZINGGGG She has helped me more with my shoulder pain than any other chiropractor I've seen here before. Literally one visit with her has done more for my chronic shoulder pain than the past five months or so of seeing other doctors here. She also paid very close attention to what I told her about the condition of my spine and turned out to be the first doctor to make an actual note in my file about my Spina Bifida Occulta even though I've been telling every doctor I've seen here about it. Johnny at the front desk is always cheerful and Dr. Davis is absolutely fantastic! I've gone to several Joint locations and had many chiropractors work on me, Dr. Davis is by far one of the best. I really like using The Joint for chiropractic services. It’s quick, easy and affordable. With no appointments needed I just show up when it’s convenient to me and am usually done within about 5 minutes. I’ve been to a few of there locations and they are all good.
Beyond good is Dr. Davis at the Almaden Ranch location. He works the neck better than any other chiropractor I’ve visited. I often tighten up when my neck is worked on, even though I know I need to relax, but he is able to relax me and relieves it from both sides. He does a great job on the rest of the spine too!

Make sure you know what your signing. I got the plan where you pay 80 each month. The second months i couldn’t pay that much money so i asked to cancel and they said actually you have to be with us for atleast two months and so they charged the 80 bucks the second month and i was like fine whatever. I went for a session since i had been charged so much already and they told me you are marked as in active so we cant help you.
