I graduated from Cleveland Chiropractic in Los Angeles in 1982. Post-graduate Certifications are several, but most focused in Chiropractic Biomechanics over 30 years which is ideal for assessing The Joint patients.

Just before graduating Chiropractic College, I was fortunate to work for a very busy office in Tustin, offering cutting edged precision adjusting and assessment of patients. l've learned a lot since that time and my passion and abilities continue to grow stronger.

I've started and developed three practices; the first one in Westchester, one Iater in Thousand Oaks, and the most recent one from 2010 still maintained by my best friend, in a rural part of ldaho. We did the unthinkable. We returned to California to take care of a family business and better assist my wife's health recovery.

Jo and I have been wonderfully wed for the past 28 years. My hobbies including hiking, surfing, sailing, flying, running, knife sharpening, and going on spontaneous adventures. We have three adult kids (they're always your kids!) in their 30s and my favorite dog of all time, Bippy. She is a mix between Border Collie and Aussie.

I love good, healthy, energetic food, starting with Sushi, Street Tacos, and fruits and vegetables from our garden.

Dr. Jennifer was born and raised in Southern California and has been adjusted throughout her youth, usually in between running from volleyball games to soccer practice.

Determined to understand our intelligent bodies, Dr. Jennifer studied kinesiology at Sacramento State prior to graduating from Palmer College of Chiropractic West in 2018. She continued to grow her experience working with families at a wellness center in Central Texas. Also, his motherand grandmother, who received help for the after effects of polio and a horseback riding injury, respectively, werechiropractic success stories that greatly influenced him . It became even more personal for him when heexperienced great relief from headaches and neck pain with chiropractic treatments, enabling him to be able tolive life without debilitating pain. Therefore, having experienced pain relief and better health without drugs orsurgery he decided to become a chiropractor. Many people have a story as to why they chose to come into chiropractic. Life has its way of bringing us exactly where we’re meant to be, when we’re meant to be. Having been a massage therapist first, Dr. Lorraine felt a desire to help people at a deeper level than just skin/surface depth. Chiropractic was the next level Dr. Lorraine felt called to in order to expand and help people experience more relief and comfort within their bodies. Having never experienced being adjusted before, Dr. Lorraine received her first chiropractic adjustment while in chiropractic school, by a then student doctor. So chiropractic was more of an inner calling than having experienced its benefits beforehand.

With her massage therapy background, an undergraduate degree in exercise science and Doctor of Chiropractic degree (Life Chiropractic College West c/o 2022), Dr. Lorraine is excited to utilize all she’s learned and continues to learn and grow in to help people feel more ease and greater depth of who they are beyond aches and pains through chiropractic care.

In her moments away from The Joint, Dr. Lorraine enjoys time doing absolutely nothing, time with family, shooting around at the basketball court, working out (when consistency permits) or you can find her at the dining room table working on a 1000 piece (or more) puzzle.

A third-generation chiropractor with over 35 years of clinical experience. Dr. Theobald is a former Independent and Qualified Medical Evaluator for the state of California, who has been associated with some of the largest personal injury and workers’ compensation practices in Southern California. As a treating doctor, he worked exclusively for applicants in litigated cases where injured workers may be denied access to care. He has been involved in cost-containing measures to ensure best practices and outcomes by performing utilization reviews on injured workers in multiple state jurisdictions across the country.

During his tenure with The Joint, he has been both a part-time and full-time chiropractor, providing care to patients within their high-volume, subluxation-based clinics. He has held several leadership roles that involved control of the “four walls” of operations, as an Area Manager, across multiple units, including, but not limited to, interviewing, onboarding, training, scheduling, and coaching the doctors. He was also responsible for front and back office operational behaviors to ensure compliance, reduce risk, and achieve targeted metrics to grow the overall business as one of the original Clinic Directors and Chiropractic Operations Managers.

He is a 1988 graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport Iowa. He is married and has four sons.
