Meet The Doctors

Dr. Malinarich is a chiropractor with a passion for movement and wellness. He serves his patients with a comprehensive approach of chiropractic care to help best manage their health.

He graduated at the top of his class from Southern California University of Health Sciences and was awarded with the Dr. Lester McCoy Clinical Excellence Award for his excellence in all aspects of diagnosis, treatment, and patient management.

Helping his patients return from and prevent injuries are his first priorities, as he strongly believes that our body’s ability to carry out the demands of daily activities directly impacts the quality of our lives.

“My fundamental goal with chiropractic care is to aid you in achieving and maintaining the ability to carry out the life you want to live. My aim is to help you fortify your health so that you have the resilience to meet and overcome any challenge.”

Dr. Malinarich, born and raised in Gothenburg, Sweden, moved across the Atlantic to sunny Santa Barbara in 2013. A few years later he became a member of the Conejo Valley community where he was an offensive lineman for the Cal Lutheran University football team. He graduated with honors with his B.S. in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Human Performance.

In 2010, after experiencing debilitating low back pain while playing football in the Swedish National Team, the team doctor performed a series of adjustments, which allowed swift return to play on the same day. This was Dr. Malinarich’s first experience with adjustments and was both surprised and grateful that he regained the freedom of pain free movement.

In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, playing and hiking with his two dogs, and listening to podcasts about anything from comedy to the science of longevity.

Dr. Joseph Muzsnai, D.C.

Dr. Joseph Muzsnai D.C. is a Los Angeles native. He attended Cleveland Chiropractic College Los Angeles and graduated cum laude in 2008. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles.

He first started practicing in a private practice setting, and then spent several years specializing in workers injuries. He now enjoys providing efficient chiropractic care in a health and wellness model.

Dr. Muzsnai says that the best thing about working at the Joint is being able to help a wide range of people from all over the Los Angeles area.

In his spare time, he enjoys evening bike rides on the bike path at the beach, scenic walks or hikes, weight training, and spending time with his family. He is a big fan of anything from the 80s and 90s.
