I am really glad I did because I have now had about four visits with Dr. Alyssa, and each session has helped with some chronic issues I have been dealing with. I am so glad I joined the joint, I had some pain for a while that wouldn’t go away no matter what method of massage, yoga, or workout I was doing. I finally came in to the joint and Fio helped me in the front, she was really informative about the services and benefits with the membership rather than just having one session. ZERO Star REVIEW New client trying to find a local chiropractor. A friend and I heard good things about this place, so we made two appointments for the same evening at 6:00 PM and 6:30 PM. We arrived early at 5:00 PM, fully prepared to wait. The front desk told us no one was waiting and said they could happily see *one* of us immediately. Then things went downhill fast. They told us they could not see two new patients because they only have one doctor and then admitted they did **not** even have my friend’s appointment in their system. When I asked why my friend couldn’t be seen at 5:00 PM and I keep my 6:30 PM appointment, they said they “can’t see new patients during the last hour” because they need to keep it open for existing patients. None of this made sense. No one was waiting, we arrived an hour and a half early, and they had already offered to see one of us right away. The options they gave were: see one of us now and make the other come back another day, reschedule one of us, or see none of us at all. Seriously? For a business that’s supposed to help reduce stress, they managed to create more of it. The staff appeared annoyed that we interrupted what felt more like their social hour than a professional workplace. Lots of standing around and talking, very little customer service. I walked away and said it didn’t seem like it was going to work. I’m honestly glad they showed me what kind of business they are *before* I spent my hard-earned money. Extremely disappointing experience.

Came in for appointment scheduled through their website. Girl at the front said she wouldn’t check us in because she had to be somewhere soon. Doctor came out and said that the online appointment is done with their corporation and isn’t honored by the office because they didn’t make it and since we can’t fill out the paperwork because the front desk girl was leaving so he refused service. They had the lights off and looked like they decided to close for the day so they clearly just wanted to leave. Don’t bother with this place they don’t want to really help you. Note there is another office for this franchise in Thousand Oaks and they treated us fantastic and honored the online appointment no problem. Go to them if possible.

They have been horrible in answering calls. They keep closing without any apparent reason other than giving excuses day after day. I came here 3 times in a row, and even though they said they would be open, they were closed AGAIN on the third day. TERRIBLE!!!! UPDATE: Everything is ok. There were some issues with the internet and the doctor being sick. Some things are out of anyone's control.

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at your clinic. On the first day, I came in with hip pain, but there were no available slots, so I was scheduled for the following day. The next day, I received a call informing me that the doctor was sick, and my appointment was postponed again. On the third day, I finally arrived, only to be denied service because I didn’t have a physical ID with me. I offered another document to verify my identity, but it didn’t include my address. I even offered to provide my address separately, but they still refused to see me. Nobody informed me in advance that I needed to bring a physical ID. I waited three days in pain, only to leave frustrated and without the care I needed. This level of communication and service is unacceptable.

The chiropractors who practice there are great. However be aware this is a corporate run location, and not run by any local owners. As a result (and since it appears they must meet their on paper performance goals) the desk staff will do anything they can to not take on new patients or new business if they can avoid it. Either it’s laziness or they simply do not need to bother with chasing additional profit or both. But be warned. Every other location in the area is franchise owned and so if this location will not take you in just go to the other locations who were frankly shocked to find that we were turned away from this location at 11am on a Monday. Or maybe just skip this one if you aren’t already in the system. They won’t mind apparently.

This location was amazing many years ago when Dr. Kassel ran the place. Since he left in 2019 it’s gone completely downhill; the place is now a revolving door of chiropractors and front desk workers-- no one sticks around. Eight days ago I had the worst chiropractic experience of my life (after hundreds). The new fulltime person (female, don’t know her name) is loud, misattuned, obnoxious and actually made me much worse, causing spasming and pain in my neck. I contacted this location to let them know- no apology or responsibility, I contacted the corporate office by phone and website and they never responded to me. I would not return to this Woodland Hills site and for your safety, caution everyone to avoid it. Go to one of the better ones (Thousand Oaks, etc.) and stay safe, or just go to a better trained chiropractor. This is basically the McDonald’s of chiropractors- unless in a rare case you get a good one.

This is the worst joint I’ve ever been to the last 3 times I showed up, they weren’t open even if they said they were online. They never go to lunch at their listed hours The girls inside always have a horrible attitude towards clients. I’ve drove there now 3 times and couldn’t be seen and they are the most centrally located branch for this part of most of the valley. This place really needs to get their act together. On top of that EVERY SINGLE TIME I call no one EVER answers the phone but every other joint someone answers the phone promptly. Please fire your incompetent desk ladies who hate their jobs and don’t care about their patients They are never there during the hours they are supposed to be. They always have an attitude, and they don’t answer the phone or do their job. If you don’t get it together I wouldn’t be surprised if this place closes down

Dr. Ivan and Dr. Joe at the Mulholland location are both incredibly talented Chiropractors. Very kind, empathetic and patient. They are the best! I feel so much better. Highly recommend the monthly care package as The Joints prices are ridiculously affordable considering how many times you will visit with additional appointments being extremely low cost. With so much stress these days my adjustments relieve pain, inflammation and a host of other issues so my immune system is rebooting. It takes time for more challenging conditions but so worth it. Don't accidentally subscribe thinking you are getting a pack of visits! I believe we were scammed in this way and no notifications were sent after nine months of inactivity because we thought we had used the visits we paid for already. We came here in an emergency because our usual chiropractor was fully booked for the next few weeks. Since we have a chiropractor who is nearly family to us we have no reason to sign up for any subscriptions so we opted to go for the per-visit deal. We were also leaving the country in a couple of weeks for a month-long international trip. All the more reason not to sign up for any subscriptions or packages. I am also personally against subscriptions due to the fact both my wife and I are very busy and don't stay up to date on all the transactions going through our accounts so it's just easier to pay the upfront cost and not risk forgetting about a subscription. Well..... they signed us up for a subscription anyway without us knowing... We were in a bit of a hurry between appointments and signed the documents on a tablet to get started. (I assumed liability docs because of the nature of the treatments) No. This was the subscription documents. (My fault I guess.. but seriously!! Have some respect for your customers) 9 months go by and we finally realized we had been getting charged every month for $89 each month. Total is $810. We got NO notifications through email or text that we were still being charged. We had never used any of the visits of course because we didn't know we were on a plan with them. My wife has been regularly visiting our normal chiropractor. There is no way we would have consented for this. THEN YOU CAN'T CANCEL without coming in person! We called to cancel but were informed we had to do it in person.. The place isn't super close to our house so we had to waste our Sunday afternoon trekking out there to sign documents IN PERSON! None of this is super bad on it's own but added up all together I wish we had never come across this place. It would be better if they didn't exist and a more honest company was in their place. So for this reason I am leaving the review. I almost never leave bad reviews or reviews in general. I would have accepted an automated email after 3 or 4 months of inactivity and would be a lot more lenient but this is predatory. I hope others don't get in this trap too. This company is predatory for these reasons: 1. No notifications were sent out even after we hadn't visited for months. 2. Signatures are taken on a small screen tablet making it less likely for anyone to read. 3. You CAN'T CANCEL without coming in person! 4. I believe we were NOT properly explained what we were signing up for. I know this is on us but we are very careful about this stuff and we should NOT have trusted them when we signed the documents and didn't read it thoroughly. On top of that, I see a lot of reports of even getting charged after going out of the way to cancel in person. I am putting a stop through my bank to make sure. Be very careful with this company and don't be a victim!

Don’t come here if you are new patient after arriving at 555 pm with my wife who I was brining in as a new patient they guy was like sorry no new patients after 545 pm where is the policy that states that if you are a walk in clinic after explaining to the guy that we work every day from 9-545 pm as we are self employed and run our business he was like, all of our patients know we don’t take new patients at 6pm , I’m like can you make an exception we drove all the way from Westlake Village , he was like nah it’s because sometimes we are here till 730 I’m like and what’s that to me I see no one in here right now can’t you make an exception this one time he was like no , wouldn’t even give us the new patient paper work to fill out so the moral of the story is that Thousand Oaks location and Porter ranch will take new patients up until 645 after calling another joint location there like we can take you if you get here by 650 pm never coming back again , fix your policy and procedures state as you walk in or list online no new patients after 545 pm

Threw out my back Saturday evening. My regular chiropractor doesn't have Sunday hours so I figured I'd give this place a try for some relief. Being only 1.5 miles from me it seemed worth giving them a try. Called- no answer, but did get a text telling me to go to Northridge or Porter Ranch instead as they didn't have anyone working the front office. So...are you not actually open on Sundays?? You should update your hours. Really disappointing. PS - Northridge location- would not recommend.

Dr. Ivan is awesome he’s a well experience chiropractor every time I go to him I feel 100% better. The two receptionist at the front are very welcoming and sweet. I don't know why people give negative reviews. In my opinion those folks seem entitled and if they don't like it they can go to any other chiropractor and get charged double for the same service. Try going to the Northridge location and see how Kathy treats you.

I hate leaving bad reviews but this is a matter of safety. I have been getting adjusted regularly for over 20 years so if you are new to chiropractic please know that this review is not the normal in chiropractic and I would still recommend you to seek out a good Dr of Chiropractic. I visited this location for the first time today and had what was easily the worst adjustment of my life. I was adjusted by Dr Glen and it was painful and actually caused an injury. It felt like getting hit hard in the spine. I should have stopped him after the first attempted adjustment, that was my mistake. When he got to my neck is when the injury happened. The best way to describe what he did was a karate chop to the neck. I have no idea why he did that. I have never had a neck adjustment like this before. It was horrible instant pain. Exactly what you would expect to feel after having your neck aggressively karate chopped. I walked in with zero neck pain and now it is getting worse as the day goes on. I am developing a nasty headache. Everything about my experience was bad. Not a single adjustment was comfortable or good. Mostly he just hit me hard and no adjustment happened. I will not be going back. I still love Chiropractic and swear by it but this experience was very bad. This location has amazing reviews (which is why I went). If you go, maybe make sure a different doctor is in that day.

Dr Ivan in woodland hills Friday through Monday is the only reason I haven't canceled my membership. The joint chiropractic is a complacent corporation whose CEO and board of directors does not care about their patients. Even though I don't know if the doctors are happy I would believe and imagine that they also don't take care of their doctors nor do they reward them according to their contributions because every time they have a good doctor they leave.

I cancelled my membership in person due to being 8months pregnant (filled out the paper work and everything). 6months later I noticed I was still being charged. I contacted them several times to get a hold of someone who could actually help me (and I mean SEVERAL TIMES). I’ve been extremely patient! AND yet they have made it very difficult to get answers. Finally I got in touch with Nic who I also exchanged emails with, stating I would get my refund within 4-6 weeks with a written check in the mail (this was on Feb. 25th) I’ve yet to receive anything or get answers from Mayra (who took over) because she is waiting to hear from the accounting department.

I was in the worst pain. I had a chiropractor before which was phenomenal but it's too far away. I searched for new one in my area and find the joint. I love everything about it the style, cleanliness, the friendly staff but most important I met Christopher the chiropractor on a Sunday and from the first visit i knew I'm in the right place. I don't know if any of you experienced the pain of pinched nerve. I can tolerate pain but this is on a whole different level. Making a long story short. It's been only 2 visit so far out of many more I will go. But i have so much relief and way less pressure. This guy know what he's doing, he's great! Definitely recommended to anyone in any kind of pain.

I was so glad to find that I was 3 miles away but was even happier to receive an adjustment that exceeded my expectations! I typically need adjustments to my atlas (top neck) and not every chiropractor can manipulate and adjust me the way I hope. Dr. Kasel not only got my neck back in alignment, but he also took the time to share and show me some exercises to help me with my new sciatic issue. I went in to an appointment with Dr. Escobar. The doctor did not ask me questions about the issues I was having. He ran through a stock set of adjustments and got me out the door as quick as possible. He was not able to adjust the area plaguing me. I would've gotten a refund if I could. I visited another doctor who did muscle work to relax the afflicted area, and was able to make the adjustment. That doctor spent time with me suggesting exercises to improve the strength in my lower-back muscles to avoid perpetuating the problem. I felt significant relief after their adjustment.

The first time I came here was on a Sunday a couple months ago and the doctor was great. He gave me an excellent treatment and a lot of information. However, ever since then when I’d come on a Sunday the doctor didn’t seem to take into what I was saying and would just rush me out. I’ve been going to another location since which is much better. However, a couple weeks ago I stopped in since I was in the area. I told the doctor the area that was bothering me and while he gave me a good adjustment he completely ignored that area. So while not a terrible location I definitely recommend going to other ones. I wrote into the corporate office about this and never received a response.

I've been a long time patient at this location. I've always enjoyed visiting this office. The staff, especially Kathy is friendly. Recently the doctor changed. I was sad to see the previous doctor go but I'm so happy with the new chiropractor, Dr. Kasel. He is a wonderful chiropractor. I feel great after my adjustments. He spends quality time asking questions about your health, and he offers useful advice. He even emailed me info regarding a piece of equipment. This office truly cares about your well-being. No appointments needed and there is hardly any wait depending on what times you arrive. I recommend them to everyone.

I was a bit skeptical on coming here but after walking in and seeing how clean and professional the joint chiropractic is, I thought I would give it a try. The front staff and management are absolutely a gem, The two doctors here are phenomenal and walk you through the treatment, One thing I love about this place is, there is no hidden fees!! it’s the bottom line and it is so cheap. I mean let’s face it, we go out to dinner’s by drinks spend money on fancy clothes but we never take care of ourselves and this is exactly what I’m doing. I bought the 10 visit package and you get two free on their promotion. which I believe comes to around 22 or $23 a visit which is unheard of. I will continue coming here because it is helping me and I’m very skeptical if you are too I recommend you come here and try it.

When I can get in it great but I showed up at 2:25 and the sign says "closed back at 2:30" sweet I can wait five minutes no big deal...but it's now it's 2:55 so I have been waiting about thirty minutes. It would be much nicer if the sign said back at 3:00 then at least I know I could go get other things done while I have to wait or go to the other joint near by. Not that happy right now.

I love this place. When I first came I was in soooo much pain. I was desperate for some kind of relief. I signed up for the monthly membership, and when I met Dr. Reiss, he was the answer I was looking for. He was super helpful from the minute I met him.. he gave me exercises to do, he knows so much about the body, and he has so much information for you, if you just ask him anything about your body. Now, I have no where near as much pain as I did when I first walked in, and I always look forward to my weekly visit. You definitely need to check this place out. Your body will thank you. :)
