Went for a prenatal adjustment. Just what I needed! They had a pregnancy cushion so that I could lie down comfortably. The adjustment helped a lot, especially with my posture changing so much with the side sleeping and growing baby.

This is for the Arvada location only, I went in for lower back pain. Sciatic nerve to be exact. The first visit was awesome, I don't know who i saw but she took the time to evaluate me, talked to me about it, did her thing and that night was the best sleep I have had in weeks. As recommended I come back 2 days later, . The man I saw ( dont know his name) did not introduce him self. Told me get on the table, cracked my upper back and he was done. Did not even address the reason I was there. Here it is the next day and I'm right back where I started from. Im in so much pain again. I feel if he would of taken the time to actually find out what and where my pain was I would not be writing this. I paid $55 for first visit, then $89 for 4 visits for 2 months. Well that was a WASTE OF MY MONEY. I should of went to a real Chiropractor.

Went in to get an adjustment for lower back pain. I do quite a bit of manual labor for work. Upon entering I was greeted by Felicia who was very nice. She guided me through the options and also helped me fill out some paperwork. Dr. Ashley did my adjustment. Dr. Todd was an extreme disappointment and the reason chiropractors have a bad reputation. Just wants to crack stuff…no time getting to know what’s bothering you or why. No examination or true alignment. Horrendous bedside manner and in a rush to get you out. I won’t come back until he is gone.

I started with the Joint after a small injury because I don’t have chiropractic covered on insurance. The care was okay, very dependent on which doctor you see. Drive through Chiro is how I saw it, which can be useful even if it’s not a very high level of care. To make it affordable I had to sign up for a $89/month “wellness plan,” (for 4 visits) with the strings attached that it’s a minimum two months. Now I’m $200 in with tax. I put the cancel date in my phone and called to cancel two days before it was due to renew. When I called to cancel they said I had to come in, and not just to any Joint but the one I signed up with. So I asked what the last day would be and was quoted over the phone April 4, today. No need to rush! Well today is April 4, and when I went in I was told I had already been renewed that morning, but I could gladly give back my 4 remaining visits as long as I didn’t want to get my money back. Needless to say l, it’s a great motivation to keep my spine healthy so I don’t have to deal with these folks again.

This place does not know how to work on petite people. Every visit I’ve had, I walk out with a new injury. Came in yesterday with back pain, left with sharp shoulder pain because they’re so rough with their adjustments. Definitely won’t be coming back.

I’ve seen many different chiropractors over the years and I can honestly say Joe has been the best! One of the few that gets a very good neck and low back adjustments. It has taken my migraines to 0! Update 6/13/23 The owner personally called me and wanted to hear what I had to say. He asked that I return and try Dr. Dan. Being a reasonable man I overcame my apprehension and agreed. Dr. Dan did a fine job and managed to get me back to where I was before the previous visit. They had 2 Dr.s on staff and I did not feel rushed. Although Dr. Dan is a fine Dr., Dr. Brandon was still in my humble opinion superior. I do understand that every Dr. Is an individual and therefore prone to their own style. However I still believe that as the Joint has a brand name that they wish to express quality, they should still implant a base line of treatment components. This way the patient knows that where ever they choose to go there is a level of quality that they can count on. As they do not have this in place I can only raise my estimation to 3 stars. If they did have an established base line in place I would give a solid 4. So upset and now injured because of Dr Joe I really don't know where to begin.I don't normally do this using personal names but here goes. I originally went in there and saw Dr Brandon I was in excruciating pain and he fixed the problem in the first visit I had no more pain. He then proceeded to sell me a package to keep the adjustment in place and suggested I come in two days later. I did that and here's what happened. I walked into the clinic in no pain at all a little tight because the adjustment was beginning to slip the waiting room was overcrowded there was only one doctor on staff Dr joe. Dr Joe was very aggressive and obviously in a big hurry. By the time he was done I have pain in my upper back where ther was NONE BEFORE. And now I am in just almost as much pain as when I first went in there as he somehow undid what Dr. Bandon had done.. When I called back to ask that Dr Joe never treat me again I was told he is the main chiropractor and that Dr Brandon was only visiting I can't tell you how much of a bait and switch this feels like!! AND I cannot tell you how upset I am that here I am sitting in pain now $ $210 later because they convinced me to buy a package that I now am AFRAID TO USE!. Furthermore the extreme lack of similarity in treatment techniques points to the possibility that the corporation may not care as much about their product as they would like you to believe. The second treatment where Dr. Joe hurt me lacked so many elements of the first treatment given by Dr. Bandon who cured me its hard to believe it is the same businesses.

For approximately 5 years now, I have been receiving weekly adjustments from the Joint. The staff from the time I walk in are professional and friendly, which is why I look forward to going every week. Chiropractic care is important for good health and helps with just more than aligning your joints. It helps with mental, circulation and digestive functions in your body. I've been going to the joint for a while now. Everyone at this location is excellent at what they do. I do however favor Dr. Wilcoxson. He has a unique ability it visualize the body while adjusting, allowing him a greater understanding of how to manipulate the body in the most effective way. I personally have had back, neck, feet and migraine issues. I would say that my quality of life has improved about 90%. I have sometimes spent 3 days in bed from just 1 migraine until now. I pay close attention to my body as I have a great desire to have better health. When I notice pain on my left side of my head I am prompt to get adjusted, keeping my C1 and C2 healthy has kept me from having what used to be regular migraines since I was 7. This is just one example of how my life has positively improved from regular visits. I would gladly spend my time and money here than anywhere else. I really can't speak highly enough of Dr. Wilcoxson but I hope that my review gives a little insight to his ability.

I almost let the negative reviews keep me from trying this place out. Thankfully I didn’t. The first visit I had a knot in my shoulder so bad that I couldn’t turn my head. The chiropractors fixed that up and I was able to move completely and felt amazing afterwards. Today I went in because I messed my knee up on a hike yesterday, and they were able to restore me back to full ROM. I love this place and there hasn’t been a wait for me either times I’ve walked in.

I just read a negative review about Dr. Joe and feel compelled to share some additional perspective in his defense, because he is an awesome chiropractor. Thanks to some old football and snowboarding injuries, my neck and lower back require weekly adjustment in order for me to live without constant pain, brain fog, and tinnitus. I’ve been getting weekly adjustments for 6 years now and have received treatment from about 20 different chiropractors (at The Joint and other practices) over that timespan. In my experience, I’ve come to understand that there are many different ways to manipulate a body into alignment and each practitioner has their own unique style and preferred technique. Additionally, every chiropractor has certain maneuvers that they’re really good at and some that they aren’t the best at. With this in mind, there’s no one chiropractor that’s perfectly suited for every patient. The best chiropractor for you may not be the best for me, which is why it’s important to try different chiropractors and find one that’s a good fit for you. That’s what I love about The Joint, they have a team of doctors who all give good adjustments, allowing you to find the best fit for yourself. I’ve found that in Dr. Joe and have looked forward to seeing him every week for the past 2 years. My primary subluxation is at C4-C5 with a secondary on the other side at C1–C2 and most practitioners have a difficult time aligning them, sometimes leaving me feeling more pain and misalignment than when I started; and I don't hold it against them. After having as many adjustments as I've had over the years and picking the brains of the 20-some-odd doctors who have worked on me, I've come to understand that this just happens sometimes and it's often more to do with me not being able to calm my mind and body enough to receive the alignment that the doctor is trying to give me. If my muscles are too tense when the doctor makes their maneuver, the muscle can spasm and cause more misalignment. A chiropractic adjustment is a partnership; I have to do my part to receive the alignment, and, if something doesn't feel right afterward, it's up to me to communicate that to the practitioner so that we can follow-up and get it right. I'm so grateful for my relationship with Dr. Joe, he listens and really cares about getting the adjustment right. There have been times when I sit up from an adjustment and certain spots still feel out of place; I'll tell him and (even on busy days) he'll have me go back down on the table so that he can apply different maneuvers until we get it right. I can count on him to keep the ringing out of my ears, the fog out of my brain, and the pain out of my body. Thank you Dr. Joe! ???

Initial Review: Went in to what I thought would be my last adjustment after two months of adjustments and with a satisfied mindset. The overall experience was very much ruined due to total lack of flexibility and customer service when I found out that I missed my cancellation by 5 day. I thought my contract cancellation expired at the end of the month (I came in on the 28th) but came to find out it expired on the 22. When that has happened to me on other instances and with other companies they usually will work with you and let you pay partial balance or refund you the month you did not need. That did not happen and I was very disappointed. The same happened with my wife. We both signed up for two months to support our neighborhood chiropractor. Follow-up Review: So this is very difficult - as it is difficult to leave a bad review. I have strived to come up with solutions one on one when similar has happened to me in the past. The one on one did not work - I tried that, but Mr Stamler (I think the Joint Arvada Owner) never provided a response to my initial communications to him. Only after I sent a follow-up communication in which in his word I “threaten a google review to get a refund” did he respond. I DID NOT threaten to get a refund, I said I would write a google review if he did not respond. I saw no other way to get The JOINT management to talk to me. Very difficult to try to communicate with someone when they don’t respond to you. You make up you mind if you think inappropriate or not. Well I finally got a response - Mr. Stamler responded to my communication! But as I mentioned in my original review - they did not want to work with me and he closes his communication to me saying “Do not contact me again”. In addition, Mr Stamler’s response has several statements that are NOT TRUE. 1. “Mr. Osen failed to pay attention to anything we said and the agreement he signed” NOT TRUE. I paid attention, I knew that I needed to end the contract within the two months. I just mistook the end date to be end of month not the 22. 2. “He elected to use our services a full week after his window for cancelling the month had closed”: NOT TRUE. I came in thinking that was my last treatment - in fact I only managed to get 3 of the 4 in. It was only AFTER the treatment that I was made aware that I had missed the contract end date. In summary: Disappointing that the JOINT does not want to work with their customers which is contrary to my 60 year long life experience with other companies. Sincerely Torje Osen

Never in my entire life have I ever felt so talked down to!!! The spiel that they set up before they would even adjust you it’s completely unnecessary And too long. My neck and shoulders were in AGONIZING pain for 3 days, as in I could not move or I would start to cry from the pain. I had never been to a chiropractor before, but I was desperate for any sort of relief. I went in for a single adjustment, and 24 hours later, 90% of the pain was GONE. They were so patient with my endless concerns, answered every question I had, and walked me through after care for when I got home. Amazing work by knowledgeable masters! This place absolutely screwed up my neck. I went in with a sore back, had 3 sessions over a 2 week period...and I remember specifically the moment the chiropractor...I wont mention her name...did not line it up properly before doing the neck portion of the alignment. Ever since then my neck has been a mess...it pops and grinds multiple times throughout the day, all day every day. I never had neck problems before. I do now however...Consider yourself warned.

Dr. Alan is phenomenal! His style is gentle, unique and amazingly effective!!! No chiropractor has ever been able to adjust my thoracic spine, they’ve always left me sore without actually getting anything to adjust. He got every little bit of my spine to adjust and when he adjusts my hips it feels downright miraculous. I signed up for the wellness program they have- it’s so affordable it’s ridiculous. Regular adjustments have been so helpful in my overall feeling of well being. Highly recommend.

Turned my 5 year old daughter away 1 hour before closing after I was told anytime between 10am and 4pm were operating hour's. I visited this location while on a business trip. Typically I'm a not a fan of going to anyone other than my regular chiropractor back home however Dr. Jeremy Washburn is the man to see at this one! Dr. Sean is the gentlest yet most effective DOC I have ever been treated by. He’s helping me through recovery from recent shoulder surgery and I wouldn’t feel comfortable in anyone else’s hands. I have been seeing a Chiropractor for a few years now and have found I need to stick with it to keep my body happy. Being an avid endurance mountain bike racer, my body takes a beating on a regular basis. Dr. Sean at The Joint took the time to create a personalized approach to my care that catered to my chosen sport and my body’s response to racing and the chiropractic treatment. After each adjustment, I leave feeling clearer in the mind and right with my body. My body feels in line with itself and lighter with no pressure. After a few treatments, I noticed an improvement in my posture and feeling more energetic, especially during mountain bike races. The Joint-Arvada is a well-run and very clean office. Treatments by Dr. Sean are excellent. He is very thorough and genuinely cares about his patient’s well-being. I recently got a compression fracture in my upper back. The pain was unbearable until I started going to Dr. Sean. He was gentle and took very good care of me. They will steal your Money. I signed up for a 6 month package they talked me into for a lower rate. About two months into it, I found a new job that was too far away to have the time to come into the chiropractor before they closed. I realized this wasn't their fault so I let my membership continue, thinking it would be cancelled after 6 months ended, it didn't. I ended up paying for 8 months before I called them. I found out I would have to cancel my membership myself, it didn't terminate immediately. So I had only used 2 months of an 8 month service I had already paid for. I asked for the last two months after the 6 months ended to be refunded to me. When I really could have asked for the last 6 months to be refunded considering I wasn't using the service at all. Not only would they not refund me at all, after I had submitted the cancellation, it came back and charged me AGAIN the following month. I have wasted a total of $350 and time and stress out of my life from calling and trying to deal with them. Would really have liked to have set that money on fire instead of allowing to be in the hands of another greedy, inhuman company. ________________________________________ Now that I have had a phone call with the Regional Manager (phone number out of Hawaii) He has agreed to refund me 3 months. HOWEVER, this came after he accused me of not having any accountability for my own actions. Which I had already clearly stated in my conversation with him that I had accepted accountability for not having cancelled my contract (which is falsely advertised as 6 months but actually never ends), but was asking for a refund regardless of this contract due to the fact that yes, I had made a mistake, I should have paid closer attention to what I was signing, because giving me a refund would be the human thing to do. I have taken nothing from them or their business, and they have collected on my error. Not only that, but he accused me of not having accountability for my own actions, AFTER he had already told me that TONS of people have had this exact same problem. Are you kidding me?! TBD on whether or not I receive the refund. Thank you sir, for the insult and wasting 20 minutes of my work day on the phone with you.

Went online to find a chiropractor. I'm in quite a bit of pain and in need of an adjustment. Got my intro coupon and left work a bit early in icky weather from Fort Collins to make it before they close at 7pm. Arrived at 6:08 and was informed that they don't take new clients after 6pm because of the paperwork. There was NO ONE else in the place. Front desk person told me I could fill out paperwork and come back some other time. No thank you. I told her that there was nothing on the website about not taking new patients after 6 and she said "that's because it's a franchise." Assuming I would have loved the adjustment I got here and signed up for a year membership, so those 8 minutes were worth $105/minute to them.
