Meet The Doctors
Dr. Nick was born and raised in Oil City, PA. He grew up with two brothers where competition to be the best drove them all to pursue physically and academically challenging lives. After high school he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he served for four years, two of which were served overseas.
After returning home from his military service, he attended The Pennsylvania State University and studied geology. He then attended New York Chiropractic College where he received his Bachelor of Professional Studies with a concentration in the Life Sciences and his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree.
During his time at New York Chiropractic College, Dr. Nick learned that every person’s goals to health are different and that a patient-centered approach to care leads to the greatest results and highest levels of satisfaction.
He is a member of the American Chiropractic Association where he has access to the most up to date chiropractic research in order to provide his patients with the highest quality of chiropractic care available. Dr. Nick owns Sapien Chiropractic in Wexford where he specializes in performance-based rehab care and nutritional coaching.
Dr. Nick spends his down time outdoors where he enjoys hunting, hiking, and skiing. He also enjoys cooking and constantly practices and lives a healthy, stress-free lifestyle.
Dr. William Gillham joined The Joint Stetson Hills team in Colorado Springs in July 2018 after leaving private practice. Dr. William is originally from London, Ontario, Canada, which is about two hours from Detroit.
While in high school, Dr. William severely injured his neck while wrestling and sought chiropractic care for treatment. It was from this healing experience that serves as the inspiration for Dr. William becoming a chiropractor.
After high school, Dr. William served a 2-year mission for his church, learning French in the process. Upon his return home, Dr. William came to the United States to pursue school and graduated from BYU in 2003 with his B.S. in Microbiology. He and his family moved to Seneca Falls, NY to attend NY Chiropractic College, graduating in 2007.
After graduation, it was off on a new adventure in Colorado and entered private practice. With a busy family, Dr. William decided he wanted to spend more time with his family and less time running an office. The natural alternative was The Joint which allowed him to focus on quality patient care while at the same time helping people have an improved quality of life.
With this extra time, Dr. William uses it to be more family oriented with his wife and 5 children by playing games, outdoor activities, and going on staycations to see more of Colorado. Dr. William has several hobbies, which include reading, playing sports, and baking (which is why he always makes sure his fridge has milk and eggs in it). With placing high value on helping others, Dr. William is always ready to serve his fellow man and knows chiropractic care can improve the quality of life of everyone.
Dr. Terry Thomas has been a Colorado Springs Joint doctor since December of 2016. He likes to be addressed as Terry. He is the primary doctor at the Broadmoor Towne Center store.
Dr. Terry is a native of Southbury, CT. He attended Western State College of Colorado graduating in 1995 with his B.A. In Psychology-Biology and Chemistry.
He attended New York Chiropractic College and graduated with a doctorate in Chiropractic in 2006. Prior to joining the Joint, Dr. Terry practiced in Watertown NY and Elizabeth NY.
One of the things he likes best about being a Chiropractor is helping others and helping them to address their concerns and complaints. He has a passion for keeping people healthy.
Dr. Terry is an avid runner as well as enjoying going out and hitting a few golf balls. His family is highly active, and he enjoys going to and participating in events with his children Alexander and Brianna. You can certainly understand his passion for health and fitness as it runs in the family with his wife Michelle a native of Falcon, CO being a "fitness junkie as well.”
Why did you choose this profession?
I chose this profession because I wanted to stay active and not sit behind a desk for the rest of my life. I also want help other achieve their best possible physical condition by providing effective adjustments.
What do you like about TJ?
I like The Joint because it offers patients the ability to stop by at any time of the day to receive a chiropractic adjustment to help alleviate aches and pains.
What hobbies do you have and what do you like to do outside of work?
I love spending time with my life partner Grace and our two beautiful dogs. I love to go skiing, backpacking, rock climbing and mountain biking. I enjoy working on cars and gardening.

I enjoy eating healthy and learning more about how nutrition can help our bodies heal and ward off sicknesses. Feel free to ask me any questions as I am an open book, and if I don’t know the answer then I’ll do more research to find out.
