Work Out with Kettlebells
Those who prefer not to lift weights can reap the benefits of weightlifting with the use of kettlebells. If you are ready to start your kettlebell workout but don't know where to begin, do not hesitate to find a personal trainer or fitness instructor in your local gym to help you get started. You may also be able to find some online videos to point you in the right direction.
Try Jumping Rope
Did you ever love jumping rope as a kid? You are not the only one. Most admit to enjoying this exercise at some point in their childhood. Even better, you are not too old to love jumping rope again. Research suggests this workout is a healthy heart habit. With a plethora of jumping methods and techniques, it is easy to keep this exercise exciting. If you are ready to get back in the saddle with this exercise but do not have the equipment needed, jumping ropes can easily be found in almost any store for a relatively low price. Keep in mind, you need to slowly because your knees may not be ready to endure a long workout right away as you return to this childhood favorite.
Work the Abs
Everyone feels great with that nice set of abs. If you're looking to shape up, working out your abs is a great place to start. One of the best exercises to tone the entire core, including the abs, is planks. As you tighten and tone this area of the body, you can improve your posture, drop some weight in the waist, and build confidence. It is time to get crunching and planking today!
