Open Communication

If you’re looking to improve mental health for the whole family, it’s crucial to open the lines of communication. Kids need to be able to ask for help. Parents need to be able to ask for a time out. And everyone needs to be able to do these things without anger, resentment, or fear. If your home is full of unspoken requests and tension filled silence, try to slowly open the lines of communication, and the state of everyone’s mental health will likely improve.
