While my husband was away on a business, I was moving furniture to lay a large livingroom rug. I didn’t think nothing of the strain I put on myself. The next day, I felt like I had a pinched nerve in my left shoulder area. I was told by a few different outlets that I needed to put heat on it, put ice on it , get a massage, fix my posture and that the way sleep was messing up my shoulder. I bought new pillows, back support braces, a massage gun, even got a rx for muscle relaxers. Two weeks later, I was in so much pain that I couldn’t even put on a shirt, take a shower, even to the left. A friend told me to go to a chiropractor and see what they can do. Not knowing where to go, it’s extremely difficult to find a doctor here or even get an appointment for one. I going The Joint Chiropractic on Google and gave them a shot. The first visit was at the Dani Dr. The staff was great, explained to me the plan they had and I gladly accepted the plan. I forgot the young lady’s name but she could feel a cluster of knots and proceeded to the first treatment. The second visited I went to the one closer to home, which was the Santa Barbara location. The woman there administered my second treatment. I was starting to feel some relief. My third visit was with Dr. Goodney. But he found was that I had popped out three rib heads basically like a hernia his first treatment was a little painful and the day I started to feel relief. He recommended that come back every day if possible for this was going to be a long road. I glad I signed up for the plan, 4 free visits a month $10 for every one after that. I continued to visit every other day for the next two weeks my last visit I felt amazing. I could move my arms and I could actually sleep right. Thank you so much for all that you do and I greatly appreciate everyone from Dani Dr and the Santa Barbara location.

Went in person to cancel my monthly services. They still took the payment for the next month and no one will respond to me. Stopped in and was told someone would call me the next day. It's been almost a month since I canceled and 2 weeks since they too the fraudulent payment from my bank account. Still no call back, no email responses, and no refund. Shady business.

Dr. Tracey is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! She is the best chiropractor my family has ever seen. My 9yr old daughter is elated before every session (and reminds me weekly about our appointment.) She exhibits extreme professionalism and genuinely cares about our health. I can honestly say that no other chiropractor has as been as invested in our health as Dr. Tracey! I would highly recommend for anyone suffering with chronic pain but also preventative maintenance!

Dr. Sara has my vote; within 3 visit I was out of heavy pain, (due to fall, 2 month with pain) the numbness in arm has gone, neck is better, love the friendliness of all staff. Dr. Sara is my Angel. I think Dr. Sara and Dr. Tracy are miracle workers! I have had back and neck issues on and off for years. They keep me out of pain with regular visits. I had been calling the manager since Friday, which was the 14th I believe & no phone call.
I finally got a hold of her today which is Monday and I had to chase her down all day long. I finally got a chance to talk to her at about 4:30 PM After calling all day long she has my phone number she has my email and if she was scared to talk to me on the phone or whatever her reasoning was for not giving me a call back. She could’ve easily text me, but she didn’t. She knew why I was calling she knew why I was upset. I evidently signed a contract that I did not know that I was signing ( according to one of the workers there, Cesar he told me that the general manager is very aggressive with selling packages and I said that’s fine. You can be aggressive, but don’t be a liar ) which I see that they’re very consistent with ripping people off here & that’s all they’re consistent with! I would not recommend this place. I came here three times and got “adjusted”. I didn’t feel like I got adjusted at all. I am no stranger to chiropractic services. I would not recommend this place. This place is a chain. They do not care about you. They do not care about your wellness . So with that being said, she said that “she was not able to go in the system and change my payment arrangement that I just need to keep my card on lock until September and after September the computer will stop charging me”. That is ridiculous and absurd to even ask me to do something like that. There’s always a way to do some thing if you know your way around your computer system.
I suggest anybody who goes here make sure you read fine print make sure you ask questions and as a matter fact, I wouldn’t sign anything from this place. This was a complete waste of my time. The last person who adjusted me was absolutely horrible and I knew that he was horrible because there was a line for the other doctor when I had walked in. This is a very weird system that they have, I don’t understand it.

They know that people are going to be dissatisfied so they have to trick people into buying packages. They know that people are going to be dissatisfied so they have to make sure they do a two month package ( I’ve never heard of a 2 month package anywhere ). Because after the first couple visits or even after the first visit, you’re not gonna like it.
remember, you’re not seeing the same person you’re seeing a different person every time that knows nothing about you. I want to see somebody who knows about me, and who I can trust to Adjust my body how I need to be adjusted & what needs to be done with me every single time. The last doctor I saw looked in the computer and he’s like oh you were in a car accident oh you broke your back I’m like yeah dude like 7 years ago he’s like well let’s just be careful ….HE DID NOTHING!!! I’m like no I need to be adjusted. He didn’t listen to me at all ???????????????
Just be careful I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. BUT if you come to this place because I see a lot of complaints about people signing contracts that they don’t know that they’re signing. I see complaints about people feeling like they’re not getting adjusted properly and the answer to them is “ well, we do it like that so you can find your perfect fit” ???? excuse me you need to keep patients with the same person.
This place knows exactly what they’re doing and they don’t care about your health and wellness. I don’t care who comes on here and comments from this place???????? I’m telling you that you don’t care about peoples health and wellness????????You just care about getting the next Buck???????? You are & will lie to whoever to make your money???????????????????????? SHAME ON YOU!!!!

I had a really bad experience here. The "doctor" did not clean the bed she had me sit on after another patient had just left. She was very condescending and refused to adjust my back despite me asking. I recently had a back injury and took time to come into the office to find relief. Instead, she raised her voice to me telling me she refused to adjust my back. No bedside manner.

I have had chiropractic care for several years and was admittedly skeptical about going to a "chain" for treatment. Trying The Joint has been one of the best decisions I've made for my health since moving to Florida! I couldn't be more satisfied! All of the doctors who have treated me have been professional and effective. Dr. Carlo though is my favorite! He listens to my issues, appropriately changes the treatment for each visit, and cares about my overall health. I will definitely continue my therapy with him! Not consistent with chiropractors, seems like you have to see whoever is available, the chiropractor I saw initially was very good but he was only available on Saturday, didn’t get any relief with my second appointment and I am getting charged every month for a service that I am not getting, I was told that I should have been informed at my first visit but I wasn’t, the manager still has not called me back to resolve this issue. I wouldn’t recommend this practice to anyone. Very dissatisfied. I ended up getting physical therapy.

Throughout my life, I've had to deal with chronic back pain, mainly from warehouse type jobs but also from a serious car accident. I pretty much dealt with the pain because over time, my body adapted to where the pain pretty much became an everyday part of my life and learned to deal with it. One day i decided to get my back checked just to see how bad it was and boy was it bad. I signed up and after a few visits noticed a huge change. The pain was substantially subdued , my mobility increased, breathing improved. I was overall impressed with everything. I would highly recommend The Joint Chiropractic to family and friends.
