Miss Paola Munoz, DC, joined The Joint Chiropractic team healthcare providers in July 2022. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Natural Science with major in Biology at the University of Puerto Rico, Cayey Campus in 2019. Dr. Munoz achieved her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic at Florida Campus in 2022. During her time at Palmer College she specialized in Activator Protocol 1, Flexion and Distraction Technique, Instrument Assisting Soft Tissue Technique, and Sport and Rehab.

Prior to graduation Dr. Munoz was assistant of the Rehab Center at Palmer College Clinic. She assessed an evaluation utilizing the SFMA screen and demonstrated the exercises to the patient in order to strength or stabilize the affected regions.

Dr. Munoz did her preceptorship in Edgewater, FL during her last three months of clinic. She worked as a chiropractor in a private clinic in Zephyrhills, FL before moving to Orlando to join The Joint. Dr. Mariam has always had a passion to help people feel better since she was young.
