Dr. Joel Manion’s career has always centered on helping people live healthier, pain-free lives. He began his professional journey in the fitness industry, serving as an area director for several big-box health clubs. Driven by a desire to make a deeper impact in the healthcare space, he transitioned into medicine and chiropractic care—laying the foundation for a career defined by purpose, performance, and patient-centered care.
Education and Credentials
Dr. Manion earned his Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2008, where he specialized in holistic, non-invasive approaches to musculoskeletal health. He further expanded his clinical expertise by completing a Medical Doctor (M.D.) degree from Montserrat College of Medicine in 2015, giving him a wellrounded perspective that enhances both patient outcomes and clinical leadership.

Dr. Manion started his chiropractic career in personal injury care before discovering the simplicity and effectiveness of The Joint Chiropractic’s wellness model. Attracted by its walkin convenience and focus on long-term spinal health, he embraced the model fully—and never looked back.
Today, Dr. Manion oversees several high-performing Joint Chiropractic clinics in Florida: Gainesville, Ocala, Kissimmee, Lake Nona, Altamonte Springs, South Orange, Rio Pinar, Town Park, Winter Springs, and Winter Park, FL. His hands-on experience as a Doctor of Chiropractic and his results-driven approach have earned him the respect of both his patients and his clinical teams.

Beyond patient care, Dr. Manion is a nationally recognized leader in chiropractic operations and training. He provides consulting to franchise groups across the country and leads doctor boot camps that focus on clinical excellence, leadership development, and performance management. He’s also a former Chairman of the Board of Directors at Path Medical and currently serves as an operating partner for a multi-unit franchise group.

Miss Paola Munoz, DC, joined The Joint Chiropractic team healthcare providers in July 2022. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Natural Science with major in Biology at the University of Puerto Rico, Cayey Campus in 2019. Dr. Munoz achieved her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic at Florida Campus in 2022. During her time at Palmer College she specialized in Activator Protocol 1, Flexion and Distraction Technique, Instrument Assisting Soft Tissue Technique, and Sport and Rehab.
Prior to graduation Dr. Munoz was assistant of the Rehab Center at Palmer College Clinic. She assessed an evaluation utilizing the SFMA screen and demonstrated the exercises to the patient in order to strength or stabilize the affected regions.
Dr. Munoz did her preceptorship in Edgewater, FL during her last three months of clinic. She evaluated, assessed, performed therapy and treated patients from pregnant women, athletes, younger and elderly population. “Her goal is to serve her patients and the community to facilitate the healing process”.
Dr. Mariam Goubrial joined The Joint Chiropractic in August 2024. She graduated from the University of South Florida in May 2020. Amid the chaos of quarantine, she discovered her passion for chiropractic care and holistic health. She graduated Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, FL in December 2023. She worked as a chiropractor in a private clinic in Zephyrhills, FL before moving to Orlando to join The Joint. Dr. Mariam has always had a passion to help people feel better since she was young. Dr. Mariam enjoys going to the gym and spend time with her family in Tampa. She is currently located at the Lake Nona location where she is dedicated to serve and bring patients to wellness.
