Dr. Jeffrey Jackson II, fondly known as Dr. Jackson, is a dedicated Doctor of Chiropractic who graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic – Port Orange Campus in September 2018. His path to chiropractic care was not a straightforward one. Originally pursuing mechanical engineering at the University of Florida, Dr. Jackson's passion for helping others blossomed during a summer abroad program in rural Latin America. Teaching English to children and enhancing his Spanish fluency sparked his realization that his true calling lay in serving others, ultimately leading him to the field of chiropractic care.
Growing up in the tight-knit rural town of Quincy, FL, Dr. Jackson learned the importance of community and connection. This upbringing deeply influences his approach to patient care. He values the relationships he builds with his patients, understanding that when trust is established, patients are more open, communicative, and invested in their treatment. His belief that chiropractic care goes beyond adjustments is evident in his holistic approach—he listens carefully to patients' stories, lifestyle challenges, and health goals, tailoring his care to ensure optimal outcomes.
At The Joint Chiropractic, Dr. Jackson is especially grateful for the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere fostered by the clinic’s clients. He finds immense joy in working with people who are open to natural healing methods and is excited by the growing interest in chiropractic care, especially as patients seek alternatives to traditional medicine. Before joining The Joint Chiropractic, Dr. Jackson worked in a clinic specializing in auto accidents, where he witnessed the profound impact of chiropractic care. One of his most memorable experiences was helping a child who had been severely injured in an accident regain mobility and alleviate debilitating headaches. Moments like these reaffirm Dr. Jackson’s commitment to improving lives through chiropractic care.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Jackson is passionate about music. When he’s not at the gym or taking salsa classes, he sings with the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida, finding balance and joy in his creative pursuits.
