Meet The Doctors
Dr. Indya A. Denson became part of The Joint Chiropractic’s team of local healthcare providers in 2022 when she began serving residents in the Plantation area, where she continues doing the work she finds so rewarding.
“The best thing about being in the chiropractic field is being able to treat babies,” she says. “Their ability to heal and function at maximum potential is a driving force for me. I also love getting people out of pain and restoring their quality of life. I really value the direct patient/doctor relationship and changing people’s lives one spine at a time.”
Dr. D, as she is known to her patients, worked previously in Plantation and is now on her second go-round. She has also worked in Miami Gardens and Kendall. She enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
“I’ve always wanted to be a physician,” she says. “My goal in life was to enter a field of prevention for pediatric patients and all people.”
Aproduct of Bethune Cookman College with a degree in biology, she earned her doctorate from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange.
”I knew chiropractic was right for me when I realized that I could go into preventative medicine without having to administer medication to children,” she says. “I’ve seen children grow up with chiropractic care completely happy and healthy.”

If she could bring together any four people from history for her ideal dinner party, Dr. D would love to sit down with a musical quartet of Beyonce, Rihanna, Diana Ross, and Biggie Smalls.
Ziplining through the rainforest of Costa Rica is among the coolest things Dr. D has ever done. “The experience overall was fantastic because I felt free and fearless in such a vulnerable situation,” she says.
Among her favorite books is The Richest Man in Babylon by George S. Clason. “It taught me to value myself and treat myself,” she says. “Ten percent of my money is mine to keep, and that has been beneficial in my life.”
