He came from a family who believed in chiropractic and remembers going with his mother for her adjustments when her back went out. His grandmother was also a big advocate and continued receiving care into her 90’s. Dr. Olt’s first adjustment came when he was 16 after being injured playing tennis.

Upon graduating college he spent 3 years in Pittsburgh, PA as a retail executive but moved to Atlanta in 1989 to be with friends and soon started at Life University where he graduated Cum Laude in 1994. He then practiced for a year in northwest Indiana, 5 years as an Independent Contractor, and ultimately opened Integrated Chiropractic Center In Buckhead and served that community for 15 years. In July 2016, he joined the team at the Joint and splits his time between the Buckhead and Chastain Square offices.

Personal honors in his life have been running the Olympic Torch in 1996, receiving the 4 Avenues of Service Award from Rotary in 1998 and Member of the Year from the AGLCC in 2014. He is also one of the examiners for the Chiropractic National Boards.

His favorite catch phrase is “I’m always doing my best work behind your back”.

    Dr. Jean is a miracle worker! When I saw him for the first time three weeks ago my lower back hurt so badly I could barely move without wincing in pain. After three sessions the pain was gone completely and I was able to move freely without any pain. When my foot started to hurt last week so badly that I couldn’t put any weight on it, I went to see Dr. John and he adjusted both feet and the pain disappeared the next day! Dr. Jean also recommended I buy new Hoka brand shoes to wear while while standing, walking or working out. The shoes arrived yesterday and my feet have never felt more comfortable and supported.     I can’t say enough good things about this place! Dr. Jean is incredibly detailed and thorough — I see him most often, and he always takes the time to explain what’s going on and make sure I leave feeling better. Occasionally, I see Dr. Tobano, and he’s just as amazing with his work. Out of all the chiropractic offices I’ve been to across Georgia, this one has the best staff by far.     Most of my experiences with the joint and their various locations have been good to great. A few have been mediocre/avg, which is still worth the visit. But my visit to this location yesterday was terrible. I can overlook pronouncing my fairly common name wrong, even after asking me what it was in front of several other waiting guests. Only for me to tell her and she still repeat it wrong 'with confidence' followed by, "go ahead have a seat." Very odd being that the two customers prior to me, she didn't do that. She either asked them to have a seat or directly addressed them by the name already on "the screen." Even in her tone and how she said it was noticed by the young lady before me...who waited a few minutes outside. We chatted after I left...because she seemed to notice the exact same vibe. Either the dr was just having a bad day, seeing me made her day bad, or she's always this incompetent. I say this because with the most dry, non chalant personality or way of speaking to me asked what brought me in. I told her it was just a routine maintenance visit. Not only were her adjustments painful (which I vocally expressed)...you could've set a timer. I felt like Nicolas Cage because I was gone in 60 seconds! Ok true time might have reached 2-3 mins. But had the quality been there...so what. But most of the very few she did on me didn't adjust anything...in feel or sound. Both the customer before me and the one before her was much longer...minimum double the time if not much longer. I sensed a disconnect from the start for w/e reason and it was obvious she couldn't even fake it for 5-10 mins. This isn't a knock on whoever is the normal doctor at this location. It was clearly a substitue teacher so to speak because no way you could have a 4.8 rating with consistent service like this. She topped the visit off by asking "am I normally this inflamed?" I guess this was suppose to be the excuse/justification for how it went. I mean just like my name and its correct spelling, she can view my chart and see that I have a martial arts background. So I simply stated 'stiff or tight maybe at times (I have an athletic build btw) but not really inflamed.' Doctors at other locations have the same access, yet have always been more professional and thorough. Lastly, I also called my home location just to double check that my name was on file correctly because the front desk lady said it wrong too and everybody makes mistakes...including doctors. But nope...all was just as it is shows on my d.l. So when the energy, tone, and attitude is off along with bad service...that imo can't just be swept under the rug. Waste of a visit...but I won't be back so it's all good.

    Amazing adjustment but I am so tired of being told that I need to set up a payment plan. I don’t come in often because I can’t afford it. They should understand that. It’s probably difficult for them to understand because chiropractors make so much money . I don’t understand how some cannot fathom that if you work in a restaurant the pay you get does not cover monthly expenses at all. Every month there are bills unpaid. Saying that should be enough for them to understand . But when I say that they want to come back with “well actually it’s cheaper if you set up the payment plan. No. Adding a $75 a month expense to my finances is not cheaper than not doing so. Yes each individual adjustment is cheaper but I simply don’t have the money. And then on top of that “well you’re wasting your money coming in here if you don’t set up a payment plan.” No I am not because the knot in my neck comes back every 6 months and they get it out. Simple. Don’t try to shame me for only being able to afford every 6 months. It’s better than nothing. If I didn’t come at all the knot would be in my neck permanently. I set up a payment plan in the past and when I tried to cancel because I couldn’t afford it I was given a hard time (another location) and told that I had to pay one more time but they ended up charging me “one more time” three times. I don’t want a repeat of that. It’s a shame because the adjustment was so good but I don’t know if I want to come back to this location because I don’t want to feel harassed about setting up a payment plan. I know it’s not harassment but that’s what it felt like, I don’t like to come in for a service and be judged for not being able to afford a payment plan. It’s like they want to make me feel shameful for not setting up a payment plan.

    I am a completely different person when I walk out of the joint. My membership here has provided a great quality of life and has made a difference in my day-to-day living activities. Dr Eric is a master at providing relief. I walk out of their office, a different person than when I walked in. My gait is more even, I’m standing taller, and I literally feel lighter when I leave. I highly recommend this location and this doctor. I can honestly say that I feel that they truly care about my well-being and overall health. These days I don’t really find a lot of healthcare providers that make me feel truly cared for. Not all chiropractors are created the same. Over the years I have used many different chiropractors but when you find one that works great for you, I highly recommend keeping them!

    This place has a good chiropractor but the experience I had as a new customer was unprofessional and kafkaesque. I called 3/17 and asked if they were taking new patients. They confirmed they were and that 530 was a good time to come. I specifically asked for that time slot as it was after my work shift ended. I show up for my appointment Wednesday 3/19 and they deny taking new people after 5. The receptionist and the chiropractor said I don't have an appointment and the number from Google maps isn't their number. So I call the number on my phone and the receptionist's phone goes off. The receptionist then checks her computer and finds I do have an appointment. Eventually they agree to doing my paperwork and giving me chiropractic care. They don't seem to have it together. I don't understand why they are giving me so much push back when I'm literally trying to give them business.

    I made an appointment and on the morning of the appointment, the office called and asked if I could reschedule so they could “keep up the flow of walk-ins.” My take-away… foot traffic takes priority over booked appointments. If I did this to my patients… I would not be in practice for very long. I will find another provider… and as a medical provider, I do not recommend this group in Brookhaven. I may give another location a shot… stay tuned.

    Total fan!! I have been a patient since moving to Atlanta in 2018. I Subscribe to a “maintenance plan” and couldn’t be more satisfied. The adjustments keep me feeling good even on the toughest of weeks - and I find myself looking forward to my weekly visits.     I really enjoy this location. Dr. Debbie is probably my fav, followed by 2 of the guy Chiropractors. I was going to the same Chiropractic doctor for 7-8 years and wouldn't let anyone else adjust me. I no longer go to that side of town so I gave The Joint Brookhaven a shot. Good so far. I feel much better after almost 2 months back into care. Inflammation is down and I just feel more overall well. Been having serious feet issues for almost 2 years now and I lift a lot of weights. Crazy what a few adjustments can do. FEEL MUCH BETTER.

    I went to a walk in adjustment this afternoon in the Brookhaven location, and Doctor Amanda did a great job. She is the best. I was in pain and she helped me to relieve it. However the lady that was check me in on the front desk was extremely rude to me. I had some questions and she seemed very upset, and gave me short and rude answers. I left that place feeling so frustrated. Nobody deserves that kind of treatment! I am not going back to that location at all.

    This review is solely based on the experience that I just had with the front desk associate, Robin! She is rude, disrespectful and demeaning. Even after telling her how she was making me feel by the way, she was talking to me. Her response was “well I don’t agree with any of that.” And all of this behavior was unwarranted, because there wasn’t an altercation. She was just very rude and nasty.

    I’ve used chiropractic all of my adult years and after my chiropractor of 8 years passed away, I decided to give The Joint a try, specifically this office in the Town Brookhaven SC. Dr Eric and Dr Debbie are fantastic, my favorites. They both practice straight chiropractic, not intermingling any other healing practice which I especially appreciate. They both have perfect bedside manner, very professional. And they are very effective in execution of their technique.     Running Pain Relief: Could not believe the results this gave me. I had never been to a chiropractor in my life before this and this and it ended up being the magic bullet that did away with my running pain. I was running a lot training for a 50K trail race. I had pain in my hips, knees, feet, back, and my legs were going numb. I could not pinpoint the problem. All of these things felt like symptoms of some other issue. Proceeding my visit here, I was stretching a lot and got really flexible for me. I also did what I could to identify and strengthen any imbalances in leg muscle groups. Two days before the scheduled race, I was not going to attend as I could not even run in place without pain. I just went here as a hail marry. I wasn't sure if anything would be different even when I walked out of there. Anyways, I thought I'd give it a shot and ended up running 30 miles in the N GA mountains without any pain at all. I could not believe it! Turns out my hips, etc were just out of whack. In the end, I think flexibility, assuring no weak set of muscles compared to your other muscle groups and chiropractic adjustment is the three headed monster to run without pain assuming there is no other specific ailment. Anyways, I highly recommend these guys!

    I walked in to buy a six pack of visits and get adjusted. Unfortunately Robin at the front desk wanted to charge me an extra $45 for a walk in visit AND the 6 pack of visits. Which doesn’t make any sense. I only wanted the six visits discount pack. So why charge extra? Robin didn’t seem to understand and unfortunately from her bad attitude didn’t want to be helpful about it. Drs might be great but the front desk staff needs improving and education.

    After dealing with Chiropractors who did nothing for me but billed my insurance $300 per visit, I was told by an associate to visit The Joint Chiropractic care. Dr. Brad immediately diagnosed my issue and went to work, adjusting my spine back into alignment. I am able to stand on my right leg without pain due to the pressure of my spine being released from putting pressure on my right nerve. I'm now working with Dr. Jacob Minor who has taken my chiropractic care to the next level. My posture has improved and I have lost 35 pounds.     This has been my go-to location for YEARS! I’ve tried other locations but this one is the best. There’s a location closer to me but ever since I had a bad experience, I don’t mind driving the extra 10 min for better care AND a better experience. Dr. Eric Tabano and his team are kind, professional and friendly. The receptionists at the front desk are a great addition to the care team. Dr. Tabano and Dr. Jacob Minor are my preferred chiropractors and I am intentional with being seen by them. They undoubtedly provide comprehensive care and you leave feeling brand new!

    I’ve been going to the Joint since 2012. The doctors really do care about making you feel better. They listen. Some have a “feel” for what’s wrong and check out the whole body. Others focus on areas of concern. I have chronic issues and sometimes I I limp sometimes I walk. When I do go in, I usually see just one or two of the doctors but sometimes I’ll see one of the others because they all have different techniques. If not for the Joint’s rates and experienced chiropractors, I think I’d have had an unnecessary surgery by now. Thank you to the JOINT!

    I went to the Joint for the first time yesterday May 17. I had a very positive experience. I saw Dr. Minor- I was recommended to him by another chiropractor in another state. He made sure he understood all of my physical issues before treating me; being careful to discuss each thing before proceeding. I was very pleased with my visit. Mandy was very accommodating and professional. The only drawback for me is the distance from my home. I do recommend the Joint at this location.

    My girlfriend was here for several visits to help relieve the pain in her back. We were excited to come because we were recommended this place for chiropractic treatment. Unfortunately, she stopped going due to one of the staff chiropractor being completely out of line with the inappropriate comments he made about her body. Needless to say, she felt very uncomfortable. I am sure she would have made progress with continued treatment, but the comments should have never been made.     My husband was taken advantage of by this shop. Don't give them your debit card info. He was suffering severe back pain and is hard of hearing. He signed a paper thinking it was for treatment last year didn't like the care. Went to another chiropractor and they took out $69 for treatment he never got not knew he was being billed for.     This location of The Joint is where you want to be! I drive from Lilburn to the office of Dr.H because he can wring me out like a wet rag! All my pressure points are hit and my body feels so much better afterwards. Been a customer of The Joint since 2018 and it really is great preventative medicine.     I've been going to see Dr. Eric Tabano at the Brookhaven location for a little over a year. Most of my adult life I've had an intermittent sacroiliac issue, especially when pushing my body physically, which I tend to do often.     Went to the town brookhaven location in March 2018 to get my rib looked at and only went twice. I called the office twice at the end of May and was told that my membership was cancelled and that I will NOT be billed again. Now its June of 2019, still being billed. Finally, I went into the location and spoke to the area sales manager and his customer service was a direct reflection of the service I received from The Joint Chiropractic. The sales manager also did not want to give me a copy of my cancellation I'm assuming so they could charge me for one more month.

    Atlanta is a big city that houses many Chiropractic businesses which can become very overwhelming, especially with being new to the city. I came across the Joint Chiropractor‘s upon doing a wide research of chiropractors within the area. It was very overwhelming to call and get information. But I then came across the joint chiropractic and their chiropractors are the best trained, educated, and certified chiropractors!     After experiencing weeks of debilitating back pain and looking to avoid the lengthy process and excessive price associated with a primary care doctor visit, I choose to give The Joint Chiropractic of Brookhaven a try. Everyone was very friendly and I was able to process my health care savings card for the purchase. Initial visits are $30 dollars, be prepared to discuss their program for relief with consists of purchasing 2 months (4 visits per month) minimum at $60 each month after discussing care with the doctor. I was expecting to pay $40 dollar minimum per visit, so the opportunity to return 8 times over the course of two months was gladly unexpected. **The only fine print you might need to discuss would regard what will become of your 2 month minimum purchase, if under the Chiropractors discretion, it is suggest that you aren't seeing an improvement and you may need xrays/MRIs and they you just have to remember that many practices you may visit or research can easily charge as much or more for just the 3 or so visits needed to know if a Chiropractor can help your condition. I SOUND LIKE A SALESMAN, but I'm a believer and was relieved of some serious back pain this time around, loved the convenience The Joints office have for checking in and seeking quick, regular adjustments.

    Dr. Eric Trobano is amazing. Fixed my neck and is getting my wife’s problems fixed. Everything is run efficiently and pleasantly. Only knock is that the other chiros are inconsistent. Some are a bit weak but still helpful.

    This location is one of their better locations, as the chiropractor I saw fixed my neck issue due to an over correction from a different location. His skills and expertise was beyond extraordinary. My body is back at 100% after his very thorough adjustments. Wish he was closer to where I live, but I would definitely recommend!

    Buyer beware -- my daughter was in Atlanta for one month for an internship when she experienced neck and back pain. She went to the Joint based on her positive experiences with her chiropractor at home and was told she was being charged for one month of service as she told them she was only in Atlanta for a month. Turns out it was a wellness plan that was being automatically billed to our credit card monthly. She called once to cancel and they assured her it was, but then it continued. DO NOT sign anything with them unless you're absolutely sure what it is. And worse part is that there was no relief from her pain.

    I suffer from hereditary migraines that are frequently aggrevated by a sedentary job and degeneration between two disks in my neck that allows them to easily slide out of place, pinching nerves and causing muscle tension in my neck and shoulders. I have been coming to this location since they opened. Dr. Eric and all of the male doctors I have seen here have been very good. I’ve had 5 different chiropractors of various styles over the past 20 years and have found the doctors at this location to be as good, or better, than the others. One exception is a female fill in I’ve only seen once but if she is here when I visit again, I will leave and come some other time as her adjustment attempts are feeble and I’ve had massages that accidentally adjusted me more than her ‘skilled’ attempts. Make sure you see one of the guys unless you are super easy to adjust and like a gentle hand then she’lll be fine.

    Went yesterday after waking up with neck pain, saw Dr.Eric who assured me I would see relief immediately,. Then after the adjustment he said I should get some temp relief and I should start seeing him more. Wrong! After an hr the pain got worse to the point I was in tears, went to the pharmacy the pharmacist suggested biofreeze and Morton. Wish I said my $40 bucks. Never going to another chiropractor again. Wish I did more research. Sent an email wanting a refund, they said they couldn’t but I could come back for a free service , no thanks! Hope no permanent damage was done. Beware!

    Not really happy lately with this location. I always have to wait a minimum of 30 to 45 minutes to see anyone. I know they are busy which means they are getting more business which is great but at busy times they need to add a second doctor. They do a good job other than this but most people cannot just sit and wait on a Thursday afternoon or even a Saturday to see a chiropractor. Hopefully they will get so busy that they will add a second doctor. I'm off now to pay extra to see another chiropractor because I've got to get back to work.

    Stopped in while I was in Atlanta for work, the front desk associate (had red coloring in hair) was not friendly at all. I was not greeted and I stood there until she got off her phone and seen me. She asked me my name, I told her and also told her I was from another location. She then proceeded to try to get me to fill out New Patient paperwork. I corrected her and told her that I was from another Joint practice. She had finally found me and then proceeded to roll her eyes. I waited for the doc to call me back. Doc was very professional and greeted me and introduced himself unlike the front desk associate. The Doc I would say would be in the top 5 out of town adjustments that I have experienced. Overall was happy about adjustment but not the customer service from front desk.

    I don't know about the services, but do NOT leave your credit card with them. My daughter was charged for 3 months even after she cancelled her account with them. I ended up having to cancel her card so they would not charge against it anymore. Each time, she called them, they gave some bad excuse.
