While a collegiate athlete on the women’s track & field team at the University of Miami, Miami won the 2004 Big East Championships and 2006 ACC Championships for both indoor and outdoor events. She competed in the combined events her last two seasons with the hurricanes. She graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s degree in biology and minors in chemistry and math, then made the move to Life University where she earned her doctorate in chiropractic in 2014.

Dr. Debbie started her journey with the Joint in June of 2023. Her passion for her profession, her drive and healing presence along with a natural ability to connect with patients made her an obvious pick for the directorship of the Joint Buckhead in July of 2024.

When asked why the field of chiropractic? Dr. Debbie answered, “During my time at The University of Miami, I observed how chiropractic adjustments affect athletic performance. I came to understand firsthand that when the body is in proper alignment, it simply functions better. For almost nine and a half years I treated infants, women during pregnancies, kids, personal injuries, geriatric patients and athletes. Additionally, with my experience, working within the Health and Wellness Industry at the Joint Chiropractic allows me to focus more on wellness-based community. Using numerous chiropractic techniques, I personally witness the transformation chiropractic has on the lives of my patients.”

We know your schedule is full, so our care is designed to be both effective and efficient. Your first visit may take up to 45 minutes to an hour, which gives you time to complete initial paperwork while the doctor evaluates your needs and begins care based on your condition, goals, and treatment plan. After that, follow-up visits are usually just five to 10 minutes. Because our doctors focus on the specific adjustments your body needs at each visit, care can be streamlined without losing its effectiveness. By staying consistent with the treatment plan recommended for your needs and long-term goals, it becomes easier to get the right care at the right time and keep moving through your day with less disruption.

To allow enough time for a thorough new patient experience, new patients should plan to arrive more than one hour before lunch hours or closing.

Your first visit includes a consultation, exam, clinical assessment, and adjustment with a licensed doctor of chiropractic. During this visit, your chiropractor will review your health history, talk with you about your lifestyle and care goals, and evaluate how your body moves. This may include a posture assessment, gait assessment, hands-on exam, range of motion review, and other movement-based checks to better understand areas of pain, restriction, or imbalance.

I came across this location by way of finding the nearest one which was in my route, one day. Since then I have not stopped visiting Dr. Debbie and I prefer her for all of my visits. It may be that I just don’t believe in chiropractics, but I was convinced by a friend to give it another try for a gnarly crick I had in my neck. She was nice enough and everything, but this is a place where all she does is crack your back for a few seconds and then go, you’re ready to go. I came in with the crick in my neck and left with my lower back hurting… I haven’t had this lower back pain issue since back when I used to go to chiropractors years ago. It almost feels like they have some technique to make your back hurt to get you to keep coming back. Idk, I don’t like writing one star reviews and she was generally a nice lady, but I don’t think this helped me at all. Really I think it hurt me more than it helped

Dr. Debbie and Joshlyn has been a lifesaver for the second time. Even ChatGPT sends people to this location now! But the reason is two-fold. One, Doctor Debbie has an edge in her experience with top notch education from the best schools, and she understands holistic medicine on a level most holistic doctors doesn’t. That coupled with the way she adjusts her patients, is with its weight in gold. I came to her 3 weeks ago, after 2 years of CONSTANT pain, and after she adjusted my ribs from everything, I hadn’t had any more pain. Felt incredible. Well yesterday I went to another chiropractor, and after the adjustment, all that weird pains were back. Well here we are, I just finished another adjustment with Dr. Debbie at the Buckhead branch, where she works every day accept Tuesdays, and I’m back in action. Dr. Debbie is simply the best. I’ve been going to a chiropractor regularly for 10 years, and I’ve seen my fair share of doctors. Aside from being one of the most personable doctors ever, she was successfully able to adjust my neck after I saw two other doctors for over SIX MONTHS that couldn’t adjust me. First visit, she was able to do it. I don’t know if she has magic hands, but the relief I felt in that moment almost made me cry. I will go to Dr. Debbie unless she moves to the moon. I signed up for the Joint for routine chiropractic care in Las Vegas. When staying in Buckhead on business I pulled my lower back and woke up in my hotel room with stabbing pain and unable to stand up straight. I’ve been going to the Joint Buckhead for about 2 years originally for chronic back pain mainly under my shoulder blades and between my shoulder blades. Dr. Jacobs was my original doc and he’s a true teacher, passionate and it’s clear he cares. I’ve also seen Doc Olt and he is solid for sure. I always left feeling better after a day or so. Racist location. Very shady. They’ve been charging my card monthly since September, I had no idea as I never agreed to a monthly plan ! Ever ! Went to the location to explain that I’m just now in January seeing that my card was being charged since September. They had a nasty attitude, told me I won’t get my money back. On top of that, another customer decided to insert herself in the conversation and they all stood there and said nothing after this said customer went to her car for a bag saying ‘I don’t talk, I shoot people’ . I have been to multiple locations and this one is the worst !!! Adding to their response . Again racist and discriminating!!! There was no video to prove that the customer threatened me as I called the police and it was outside, they heard exactly what she said. Y’all should be ashamed that this is a place of ‘care’. But it’s no worries, As other comments stated , you guys have sneaky ways of charging people for subscriptions they never agreed to !

The Joint has went the way of a grimy subscription service. I moved away and when I called to cancel my subscription I was told at first that it was taken care of. The next month they attempted to charge my card again. I called again and was told they would email me the cancelation letter to fill out. They never sent and continue to try to charge my card every month. I have just kept my card locked to prevent them from collecting off these greasy tactics. Hopefully the "Click to Cancel" law is passed so we can actually cancel our subscriptions. This is ridiculously exploitative behaviors that us as consumers should not reinforce by allowing it.

I have been a continuous client for over a year. Was in the clinic a few weeks ago when another one of your clinics were closed and they sent their clients over to Buckhead. Jacob Minor was the only chiropractor there and your company did not send him any help. He took care of clients your company normally would have 3 people working to take care of. He took care of every client that I witnessed while waiting to be seen with extreme care and professionalism. I was the last client he saw on that extremely busy day. I've used The Joint as a whole for about 6yrs, and the majority of that at this location in Buckhead. I like the two Dr's here now, though in the past they have struggled to retain good Dr's and struggled to get rid of the poor ones. However the management of this location doesn't manage to the customers needs, they could care less about service. They cut their weekend hours by 2 hrs during the pandemic and have left it that way,, making it difficult to get there for thoseof us that work. They only have 2 Dr's where other locations have 3 to 4. This is now the second time lately that I hurried through insane traffic and got there within 10 min before closing and I was turned away. I spent 33yrs in the public service industry, you don't turn people away, it's rude and clearly states you don't care about the clients. All the reasons I chose The Joint originally are not present here anymore, late hours, friendly service oriented staff, etc. Be aware, if you can go in the middle of the day, don't mind a wait, and are OK being turned away if they have something else to do, then choose here. If not, be cautious.

It seems like they are desperate I have called and told the representative Brittany on multiple occasions to stop running my card for payment Me and my children have not been there for months however I still get charged every time. Instead of offering a easy way out they want you to come in and sign a paper to be released. When I made the first about it she finally told me that she could email me a form to stop the payments from coming out . I don't understand why was it so hard for her to say that in the first place instead of telling me I had to come in she could have told me about the email process when I first asked her to be done with this service. Discovered I was being overbilled for my plan. Brought it to their attention and was told there was no way the owners would refund me for their mistake. Then told the rates changed and they had to put in a ticket to get it corrected. Got a call to be informed that I would not be able to get the rate I resolved. They were going to charge me the new rate which was exactly what I was being charged (overcharged) to begin with. Told me it was a corporate thing. I politely told them no thank you. Terrible way to treat a customer, especially a veteran. Love the chiropractic care, but the back office and corporate folks need a course on good customer service. You mess up, YOU make it right!

I had lower back pain that lasted for months, the doctor only prescribed a cocktail that temporarily took care of the pain but I didn’t want to depend on that. This has been the best adjustments I've gotten in 4 years. I could barely turn my head when I first came in. 2 visits and full mobility back in my neck, my shoulder was apparently slightly out of place (he found it and got it back in), and my hips are straightened. I usually see Michael at the office on Tuesdays, and I always leave feeling better and happier! I previously went to the other chiropractor in the office, but found that Michael had a more custom approach to the adjustment which was why I have kept seeing him. Both chiropractors are great, but since Michael has been my main chiropractor I can only speak to his ability. I’m a very inquisitive person, and he always has professional answers to all my questions, but is also very amicable and entertaining. He has done a great job listening to my complaints and addressing them accordingly. I initially went in with shoulder pain that started years ago, and it’s virtually non-existent after about 2-3 months! I would recommend him to anyone needing an adjustment.

Worst place ever. They are just sales people that convince you to sign up for a minimum of two months and even though you tell them not to auto renew, they do anyway. Then when you try to cancel they require a cancellation form to be sent back and they refuse to credit any money even though you didn’t use their services at all because you thought your plan was cancelled. Because you never signed up for auto renewal. On top of that, my back actually got worse after going to them. I highly suggest to not go to this place...at all.

VERY SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES - Whatever you do - DO NOT use your HSA or VISA card to pay for any service at this franchise. They took a one time fee out of my account and then proceeded to charge me additional monthly fees for 9 months!! When I asked for them to return the additional funds, that they took without my permission, they returned 3 months worth and then proceeded to use the VISA company policy to keep the rest of my money. I called the company headquarters in Arizona and was not called back, I sent letters to the company and have yet to receive my money, I have sent emails to the franchise and these have been ignored, and I sent a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. In that complaint this Joint Franchise said they would be “glad to give my money back per check” - and that was over a month ago. DO NOT TRUST!!! I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY MONEY!!!

I've regularly seen a chiropractor over the last 6 or so years, and while I've had some great chiropractors, no one comes close to Dr. Matt! What Migraines?! What Tension Headaches?! I never knew that a chiropractor could treat headaches, but after chancing upon Dr. Matt one day, and mentioning my frequent migraines, I found out that they can, and the results can be amazing! I've literally driven 50 miles in the rain to visit him during a migraine, and it was totally worth it!!!! After that visit, I was able to enjoy the rest of my day out with family. And anyone who's suffered from migraines will understand how amazing that is!

I've been getting adjustments for many many years and have had numerous chiropractors. While on a short weekend trip to Atlanta (from Tampa), my back went out. SI joint got stuck and caused inflammation and a severe spasm. I went to the Joint clinic hoping to be get some relief before driving home and being able to go see my chiropractor. Well, let me just say this was the best adjustment I have ever had done. I am beyond impressed. Only bad thing I could possibly say is them not taking insurance is a bit of a pain.

I have been a client with The Joint Buckhead for about 2 1/2 years and I love it. All the doctors are great. The service is fast and friendly. The monthly maintenance plan is awesome and very affordable. I go 1x per week to get adjusted. I have had no MAJOR back issues since I have been a client with them. They are well worth the money (much lower than your average Chiropractor) and time. I recommend them 500%. I'd give 100 stars if I could.

Dr. David Olt is the most amazing chiropractor I have used in over 30 years of going to chiropractors because he takes the time to work with your muscles before making his adjustment. This is especially true when it comes to adjusting the neck. Other chiropractors often are too harsh and don't take the time to get your neck muscles to relax before they adjust you. So I've been receiving regular chiropractic Care since 2006. My former chiropractor changed his technique and increased prices. Kind of making it where I wasn't satisfied with my experience or the affordability. Next, I went to a long time established chiropractor in North West midtown. It was a very expensive experience and they had some dysfunctional issues in their office. But then, I finally decided I would give the Joint a try. And after returning from a two-week vacation I went to the location in Buckhead. I've been happy every single time. The customer service when I'm greeted is exceptional, the care provided by the three doctors at the Buckhead location is exceptional. I have even tried other locations in Atlanta and while traveling and have been happy every single time. I'm very grateful for the Joint.

Dr Samir worked wonders for me. I've had back problems since I was little and am only 30 years old. I had been waking up every single morning with back pain that woke me up. I was referred to him by a co-worker, who literally made the appointment for me because he knows I have a hard time finding someone who makes a difference. After my first day, I do not wake up with pain AT ALL!!! Plus, he has an awesome personality and approaches your body with precaution but is very efficient. I love all of the people I interact with every week at this The Joint location. They’re all so friendly! I’ve been coming here every week for over a year and I’ve only gotten sick once or twice, due to allergies. And even then, I come in, let them know, and I receive specific adjustments for that specifically! They really listen to my concerns week to week and adjust accordingly and I believe it has kept my health strong overall. They’re great!

Highly recommend this place!! I did something to my back where it was difficult to resume daily activities but with a few visits to the boing chiropractic (particularly this Buckhead location!!) This place is more concerned with your money than patient care or satisfaction. All about getting on the "plan". But the session consists of a quick five minute adjustment and on to the next. If that visit didn't help, their solution is to come more often and spend more money! Why would I come back to a place where I have the same level of discomfort as when I walked in....? Not exactly a good business model. Nick has no problem losing clients, you are just a dollar sign.....In fact, I came back feeling worse after two days (after telling him before I left the first visit)....and he wanted to charge me again...!!!!..and did!!!! $30 bucks for 5 minutes. He could have done the right thing but chose not to. My recommendation, spend a few small extra dollars for someone that will make sure you're feeling better as a result of their care!

Dr. Brad at The Joint at Buckhead is absolutely phenomenal!!! I apparently was not feeling well and did not know it. I had gotten accustomed to feeling "bad" and thinking I felt ok and did not know what "good" was until my visit with Dr. Brad. When he was done adjusting all the areas of my body that I did not know needed adjusting, I felt like a "new woman". It is absolutely AMAZING how you can not feel good and not know it!!! If I could give Dr. Fraser 10 stars I would. I am PAIN FREE for the first time in 19 - 20 years !!! Although, I carry on with regular adjustments in FL and have for several years, no chiropractor was able to completely "cure" the shoulder pain that began in 1997! When I initially consulted with Dr. Fraser it was for pain relating to an old hip injury. In carefully reviewing my records, he noted that I had consistent shoulder pain and offered an adjustment to "fix" the should pain as well as that of my hip. From that single adjustment in October 2016 to the time of this review, mid January 2017 I have been COMPLETELY PAIN FREE. It is liberating to say the least. With the shoulder adjustment, I also notice that my hip injury on that same side has healed and overall there has been a marked improvement in my general health. I am exceedingly grateful in finding Dr. Fraser and highly recommend a visit. As an athlete, he understands the athletic body. As far as this location, I was warmly received and am impressed with The Joint overall.

I give this place three stars because I'm always seeing someone different each visit and the results are not consistent. They do a great job, I do feel better once I leave but their customer care is really low. They're never personable or seem to care about you. Look, I don't like my job sometimes either but sheesh at least I know to fake it and act like I care for my customers.
