Meet The Doctors
Dr. Debbie Estime’ was born and raised in Miami, Florida. While a collegiate athlete on the women’s track & field team at the University of Miami, Miami won the 2004 Big East Championships and 2006 ACC Championships for both indoor and outdoor events. She competed in the combined events her last two seasons with the hurricanes. She graduated from the University of Miami with a bachelor’s degree in biology and minors in chemistry and math, then made the move to Life University where she earned her doctorate in chiropractic in 2014.
Dr. Debbie started her journey with the Joint in June of 2023. Her passion for her profession, her drive and healing presence along with a natural ability to connect with patients made her an obvious pick for the directorship of the Joint Buckhead in July of 2024.
When asked why the field of chiropractic? Dr. Debbie answered, “During my time at The University of Miami, I observed how chiropractic adjustments affect athletic performance. I came to understand firsthand that when the body is in proper alignment, it simply functions better. For almost nine and a half years I treated infants, women during pregnancies, kids, personal injuries, geriatric patients and athletes. Additionally, with my experience, working within the Health and Wellness Industry at the Joint Chiropractic allows me to focus more on wellness-based community. Using numerous chiropractic techniques, I personally witness the transformation chiropractic has on the lives of my patients.”
Dr. Debbie welcomes interacting with like-minded individuals who appreciate the benefits of chiropractic care, healthy lifestyles and the desire for overall well-being. She attributes chiropractic care as one of the reasons her two children Lyndea (5) and son DJ (2) were both successful natural childbirths. With her partner Demetri D. Stewart, father of her two beautiful kids and former professional NFL player, they enjoy spending time with Lyndea and DJ, watching TV shows, movies and sports such as football, track & field, soccer, tennis, indoor and outdoor volleyball.
