I am updating this review in response to the office's fabricated claims. My experience with Dr. Goodman was marked by condescension and an aggressive, "backwards" enrollment process. Despite being a healthy woman in my late 30s with clear results from actual specialists (Rheumatologists/Neurologists), Dr. Goodman attempted to diagnose me with "major health issues" after a simple sensory test—all before seeing a single exam or blood lab.
The office policy of mandating a spouse's presence to hear medical results is archaic and feels financially driven rather than patient-centered. When I asserted my autonomy as an adult capable of making my own financial and medical decisions, I was met with arrogance. Dr. Goodman spoke over me, and when I chose to leave, he unprofessionally shouted personal "diagnoses" across the office in front of other staff and patients.
Save your time and money. If you have nerve pain, see a board-certified Neurologist or Physical Therapist. This "program" felt more like a high-pressure sales tactic than medical care.
Here are the facts of my three visits:
Visit 1: I waited an hour due to front-desk error. I was overcharged for an adjustment $98 instead of $48 for a sensory test, then refunded. The receptionist was super nice and apologetic about the wait and mistake. She refunded me and I left nothing out of the ordinary.... (WHERE IS THE "ABUSIVE" mentioned? Later in the same day, they called to confirm the next appointment which I cancelled my follow—contrary to their "no-show" claim.)
Visit 2: I scheduled an adjustment for shoulder pain. After waiting 30 minutes, I was sent home because the doctor refused do a "general" adjustment without going over my sensory test results. (This could have been established prior to the appointment or at check-in. I respectfully left the office.) Minutes later, the office texted asking where I was. Pure incompetence and poorly managed and the chiropractor want to blame me for being "abusive" for doing exactly what they requested. Hahaha ?
Visit 3: I returned for my rescheduled appointment. I was interrogated about whether I could "make my own financial decisions" because my husband wasn't present. I answered "yes, I can make my own financial decision. I am an adult." (I guess that's verbal abuse for this office). She didn't inform me prior that it is"mandatory" for my husband to attend. The doctor who I met for the first time came i; Instead of "Hi I'm Dr. Goodman. How do you feel today?" But with arrogant attitude asked "Why your husband isn't here". He was rude, elitist, and refused to review my records without my spouse. He rudely speaking over me. Then accused me of having a "bad attitude". After three visits and zero care provided, the doctor shouted insults at me as I walked out because I wouldn't tolerate his arrogance.
I question the privacy ethics of a provider who refuses to discuss my private medical data with me directly, yet shouts my supposed 'health issues' in a public waiting area.

Unfortunately I didn't have a physically pleasant time here . I am hyper mobile and struggle with chronic pain and other issues . My main concern was that there were no X-rays . This for me was a give away , I went to 1 adjustment and after my second I never went back . My upper clavicle pain and popping has become way worse as well as my sternum. My hips have been increasing in pain since my last visit which is unfortunate. I would assume MAYBE this is a decent place for a common sport injury or something but not for people who are dealing with serious chronic conditions. I do think the facility was really nice and so were the people I just think for my personal case . This place isn't for me or for people like me . They are good people and good at what they do and did give me a few decent adjustments. But it would be nice to have more of an actual doctor aspect to actually see if I am progressing or getting worse and considering I have a CTD I just can't risk doing more damage than good .

I had such a great experience at The Joint Chiropractic in Buford ! From the moment I walked in, Jayleen at the front desk was incredibly warm and welcoming. She greeted me with a smile, made the check-in process so easy, and took the time to answer all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed. You can truly tell she cares about the patients and sets the tone for such a positive visit.
Dr. Alvarez was absolutely amazing! His adjustment was spot on and I felt relief almost immediately. I really appreciated how clearly he explained everything and made sure I felt comfortable and confident in the care plan.
If you’re looking for a chiropractic office where you feel welcomed, cared for, and truly listened to, I highly recommend The Joint Chiropractic in Buford. I’ll definitely be back!

Receptionist was super nice as always but it is always a toss up of the doctor you get. I understand that you get what you pay for as far as service goes. They are significantly cheaper the a typical chiropractor if you go on a regular basis. Most the time I LOVE whoever I get but today's experience with Dr. Jonathan Stone was not the greatest. I told him the problems I had shoulders, back, and wrist. He took care of my lower back, wrist and neck, but when I brought the shoulders again at the end he started to get an attitude with me and said that I hadn't said anything about my shoulders, which I did and always do. They are always bothering me especially the right one. But after I brought it up again he asked what was even wrong with a horrible attitude. Not sure what I did to deserve that kind behavior but that I didn't even want him to continue adjusting me so I just left. Kinda glad I did because now my neck if more stiff than when I arrived but my shoulder is still killing me. Better luck next time I guess.

I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and I purchased the joint package for four services a month. While traveling to Georgia, I went to Joint Chiropractic in Buford, Georgia, and I couldn’t be more pleased.
Jayleen at the front desk is amazing very kind, welcoming, and professional. From the moment you walk in, her warm smile makes the clinic feel inviting. First impressions matter, and she does a great job making you feel comfortable right away.
Dr. Stone is outstanding. He performs manual adjustments and is extremely thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. He gets straight to the point and does exactly what needs to be done. Adjustments don’t need to take hours to be effective his work takes minutes, and the results speak for themselves.
I travel a lot for both my military and civilian career, so knowing I can walk into this clinic and get adjusted without any issues is incredibly reassuring.
I’ve seen some negative reviews, but it’s important to understand that efficient care does not mean rushed care. Dr. Stone is focused, precise, and effective.
I truly appreciate this clinic, love the location, and am very thankful for the care I received. Five stars from me.

I'd never been to a chiropractor until about 5 months ago and can say that Im pleased with the attention and care received at the Buford location from the time I walk in and throughout the adjustments. I worked with both practitioner on-site and they're very knowledgeable and carefully listen to your concerns and seek to address them. I'd recommend this location if you're in need of a chiropractor!

So the joint says walk in are welcome. Well I just left this mall of Georgia location unable to be seen because walk in was not an option. How can you be a pain relief service provider, someone comes in needing aid, and you refuse to help???? Zero customer service. Work on that people!!!

At Buford, GA location, On my first visit (8/14/2025), the doctor was thorough, and his adjustment provided immediate relief for my pinched neck nerve. However, on my second visit (8/16/2025), the experience was very different. The doctor was rushed, not thorough, and did not address my pinched nerve area. Instead, he performed a quick adjustment on my neck, lower back and hips, which actually aggravated my condition and forced me to go home and take Advil. It would be very helpful if the mobile app displayed the schedule of doctors working each day. That way, I could plan my visits around when my preferred doctor is available, rather than having to call daily to check if he is onsite.

I am a big fan of chiropractic care. I travel a lot and sometimes miss my all of my monthly sessions. I actually came in today to cancel my membership and use up the sessions I had left. Stephanie, the wellness coordinator, was very helpful in explaining my options and turned me on to the Joint app. Today was my first session with Dr. L. Jones. I got off the table and immediately changed my mind about canceling my sessions. Today’s experience was one of the best sessions I’ve had thus far at the Joint. All of the doctors and coordinators have been great and it’s good to know now that I can find my favorite Drs no matter where I may be located. Maybe the Joint will consider rolling over sessions without a hefty investment. Thank you!

Wonderful place, both chiropractors do well, the man( I forgot his name, but works Thursday thru Sunday) has a little more force, which I like. Dr.Modi is amazing! I visited the location after looking for weeks for a chiropractor. I’ve had trouble with a pinch nerve for months doing Physical Therapy, Ice, heat only to get relieve for a couple of days.
After my visit with Dr.Modi not only do I have more range of motion in my neck the numbness has left also. She takes her time explaining to you her process.
I type for hours a day working from home having a pinched nerve & carpal tunnel you feel the tightness more than ever.
After my visit I will make my appointments as scheduled with Dr.Modi I walked out feeling amazing & was able to gain a full nights rest without the tension on my neck & fingers.

Dr. Modi is the best! I visited her after feeling a sharp pain in my lower back for a few weeks. I could not get through my tennis warm-up without the suffering. She set up a treatment plan, and I followed her instructions, and in 2 weeks, I played a 3-setter without a single sign! This is life-changing and I would recommend her to anyone seeking pain relief.
I'll continue seeing her for maintenance after my treatment is over.

of chiro snobs and I will admit at first I was skeptical of a chain chiro office, since we were coming from a small family owned office we loved previously. I have been coming to the Joint now for a few weeks and wow I feel so much better. I have an increased range of motion. Less stiffness and increased mobility in my body/movements. Jayleen is always very helpful and kind as I come inside for my adjustments. Dr. Modi is great at helping me understand what’s happening with my body and prescribed some at home stretching which I finally started to do which have helped increased my wellbeing on top of Dr. Modi’s excellent adjustments. I never feel rushed and if I need some extra attention in a specific region, the Dr. is always willing to oblige. I definitely recommend the Joint for all of the reasons above and their prices are extremely reasonable and work for my budget. Thanks for everything to the entire team. Dr. Martin is AMAZING! My family and I have been getting adjustments for some time now but nothing compares to how great we've felt in the hands of Dr. Martin. We recently moved but we still make the trip to Buford to see him because he's our favorite Doc at the joint ! Dr. Martin has excellent bedside manners and always listens to our needs for pain management. We were nervous about getting our 7 year old started with adjustments but we felt we could trust Dr. Martin and she now feels comfortable getting regular adjustments which have tremendously helped with growing pains. The joint is overall an excellent and convenient place for adjustments with their flexible hours and reasonable rates but again, Dr. Martin rocks!

Dr. Jeremy Martin, the director of the Joint Chiropractic in Buford GA, is phenomenal. The technique that he employs for cervical adjustments is one that works when all others fail. No other chiropractor was able to adjust the right side of my neck prior to my coming into The Joint to see Dr. Jeremy, but he has never failed to fully adjust it. That side of my neck constantly felt cold, hollow, achy and dead - for lack of a better description. That feeling finally disappeared for good after four months of visits. I was in really bad shape when I showed up at this office but now I am pain free. Through a combination of regular adjustments, exercise, and listening to and actually applying Dr. Jeremy's advice, I feel like a new man. I still come in at least 3 to 4 times a week because I feel the benefits. My job takes a toll on my body and Dr. Jeremy puts everything bac into place. I sleep better than I have in years and I feel really good now. This is the best service that I have ever had and it is affordable thanks to The Joint.

Mostly good. If you don’t tell them specifically what is bothering you all they do is crack your back and get you out the door. When you tell them there’s an issue they dig in deeper and fix it. I’d like if they asked more questions and did a little more than a bare basic adjustment. Outside of that their deal for unlimited adjustments for a month at the regular fee is phenomenal. Dr. Martin is the best. I’m the owner of Leap Parkour gym in suwanee. I am a long time practitioner of the sport of parkour which involves climbing, jumping over and off high objects and flips in outdoor environments . At 42 my back started hurting due to my every day activities. After going to him I have gotten so much better. He is one of the most attentive chiropractors I know and he actually cares about your results. I highly recommend the joint in Buford but more so this doctor.

Today was my first day there. On Monday my husband and I were getting out my car and as I was getting out, I bent over to pick up my purse and my back went completely out. I screamed in complete and utter pain. My husband thought someone had attacked me. The pain was that bad...I suffered throughout the night from heating pads to ice packs from ice packs to Tylenol and Ibuprofen. ALL NIGHT!!! Well, I had to work on Tuesday and everyone saw that I was in terrible pain. Top location in the area, but I travel there clear from Stone Mountain exclusively when I can find Dr Stephie there on her scheduled days, weekly. I will follow her anywhere in the Greater Atlanta Area. No one reaches my problem lower C-spine better than her. She's the best at it, in my many years of treatment.

The worst place. Did nothing for my pain or back. They seemed like they wanted to just sell me a membership. The chiropractor was very rude. She told me what she was going to do was going to cause me a lot of pain. I took a second to try and process what she was saying. I think I didn’t respond to her fast enough so she told me to just get off of the table. That was the end of the session. I was shocked. She did nothing on my lower back. Can’t believe I wasted my money here. How can people treat new customers like this?! She had zero customer service skills.

I worked as a massage therapist in chiropractic offices for 10 years, and I have a couple issues that can be a bit difficult to adjust. My roommate started coming here and had a good experience, and since I now work as a jeweler down the road, I decided to give them a try when my neck desperately needed adjustment to stop headaches. The office is very clean and minimalist, but the equipment is top of the line. The receptionist was helpful, knowledgeable, and very friendly. The Doctor I saw was very knowledgeable and was able to give me the adjustment I needed quickly but thoroughly, with very little discomfort. The first appointment took about an hour, but my next adjustments have only taken 5 min! I walk in (they don't take appointments, so I can come in at my convenience), get adjusted, and go! The best part is that they take FSA cards, so my membership is automatically charged to that card, which means I can afford it regardless of what my bills so to me actual bank account.
The Joint is NOT for someone who has serious spinal issues or had been involved in a serious accident and needs x rays or other diagnostic tests. They are up front about that from the very beginning. If you have experience with chiropractic and need a regular adjustment to keep things moving correctly, I highly recommend coming to The Joint in Buford!

I have been with the Joint for over 3 years.
My primary chiropractor Dr. Axon is awesome is in Buford, Ga, and I enjoy the flexibility of going to different locations around metro Atlanta.
Last week we were in Myrtle Beach, SC and I got adjusted and a few years ago we were in Minnesota found a Joint not far from Minneapolis.
I think the Joint is good value for the money, and the weekly adjustments help with my neck and lower back pain.

Dr. Bennett is AMAZING! I’m convinced, she must actually be a caring person. I say this because she takes such care for me as a patient. One day while getting an alignment, just in passing, I mentioned a shoulder pain I had been experiencing for a few months. She then performed a maneuver that has rendered my shoulder virtually pain free. To the point, I canceled my scheduled visit to my shoulder specialist. It’s almost unbelievable how much it’s improved! I can’t explain how highly I think of her as practitioner, and I most certainly recommend her to anyone in need of chiropractic therapy in the North Atlanta Area. You won’t be disappointed!

I first started going to The Joint because I desperately need some relief with lower back pain that began towards the end of February. I was having trouble/pain walking throughout the day, especially in the morning. It's been a little over a month since I started treatment and I feel a noticeable improvement. Today, I visited The Joint in Buford for the first time and met Dr. Axon after doing a ton of research concerning my options in regards to chiropractic care. It is an understatement to say that my research brought me to the right place. I have been battling back related pain for several years though recently it has become more pronounced. Dr. Axon is very knowledgeable and took me through what is at issue after listening to me and then performing a thorough exam. After my adjustment, I feel great and haven't felt this way in quite some time. He then put a recovery plan in place and with their flexible hours, it will be extremely easy to adhere to I highly recommend!

The chiropractor did the same thing for both of us and we both felt way worse, but continued to go because we were being billed for a contract we should have read better. Dr. Axon isnt all hes cracked up to be. ive gone in with very specific issues to which he didnt address in the visit or even focus on the area that i had told him was an ailment for me. hes very routine and generic with his practice and technique. not only that but the recent price hike for a single adjustment is steep to say the least. they are now charging $40 for a quick in and out "pop and crack" and for a place that doesnt do xrays, doesnt have really consultation other than "how are you feeling" its over priced and unreasonable. you can get better REAL chiropractic care for around the same price as a single visit. this place is really just out to make money not relive ailments, pain, or symptoms.save your money and go visit a REAL chiropractor and you will see the difference it will make and likely will be around the same cost.
