Dr. Udofia was born and raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia. He received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology from Albany State University in 2016.
After graduation, he relocated to Atlanta, Georgia where he continued his education at Life University, the country’s most renowned school for chiropractic studies. There, he played baseball for 4 years and obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree and graduated in 2020.
Upon graduation from Life, he moved to Memphis, Tennessee where he practiced for 3 years at Cannon Chiropractic where he gained further experience and developed expertise in his field.
Dr. Udofia joined the Merrill Brothers’ Joint Chiropractic team of local healthcare providers in December 2021. He began as a rotating staff doctor servicing patients within the ten clinics under the Merrill Brothers’ corporation. Dr. Udofia is extremely excited to be Clinic Director of The Joint in Decatur and help the community that he calls home.
“I love how chiropractic is a drug-free, healing profession that allows people to take control of their health. Dr. Bre was born and raised in Columbus, MS. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry Pre-Medicine from the University of Mississippi in 2015.
After graduation, she relocated to Atlanta, GA where she continued her education at Life University, the country’s most renowned school for chiropractic studies. There, she earned her Master of Science degree in positive psychology in 2016. After completion of her preceptorships, Dr. Bre earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in March 2020 with a specialty in personal injury and a focus on family and wellness care.

My journey to recovery was profoundly impacted by the exceptional care I received at The Joint Decatur. I injured myself on a Tuesday and, by Thursday, I was already in the capable hands of Dr. Uwem Udofia. This quick response was crucial as it was my only interaction with people outside my home for a total of three weeks. For the first four days, I could do nothing but lay in bed, ice, medicate, and make my way to The Joint every other day. However, around day five, I was able to start doing simple stretches provided by Dr. Breanne Griffin, which marked the beginning of my path to recovery. Over the course of those three weeks, I saw remarkable improvement, ultimately healing enough to travel back home to Ohio. Dr. Udofia was not only skilled but also an incredible coach. He encouraged me, believed in me, and never judged me. His ability to speak frankly when necessary and empower me to push through the pain was invaluable. I truly believe he has a future as a life coach or mentor, given his talent for using coaching and encouragement to achieve the best outcomes for his clients. Additionally, I was impressed by both Dr. Udofia and Dr. Griffin’s warmth with all the clients who walked through the doors. The service was streamlined and intentional, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. I had the pleasure of working with three chiropractors, each of whom was fantastic and contributed to my recovery. There was a little boy in the waiting area while his mother was getting adjusted and the receptionist said she couldn’t extend me any good customer service or courtesy by allowing me to still get adjusted even though I drove all the way from work to get there! From my time walking in the door, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and even managed to squeeze me in a same day appointment despite being a new patient. My initial consultation and adjustment with Dr. Stone was extremely helpful; l am 10 months postpartum and suffer with extreme back pain and a hearing disorder due to a traumatic birth experience. He even managed to not only alleviate a majority of my back pain, but take some pressure off of my ears as well and improve my hearing. It was a very pleasant experience for me today. I started out at the brook haven location Dr. Jacob was good but, I didn't like the traffic LOL. So I went to decatur and got an adjustment from Dr. Kibo. I tried a couple of Dr. closer to me but, seemed like every time I went some where else and got another Dr. I would sometimes be in so much pain, so I start going to see Dr. Kibo consistantly OMG I started feeling better so I made it a point and my business to only see Dr. Kibo she is and has been such a blessing to my husband and myself!!! so now I don't go or see any other Dr. but her. The post office refused to pay for surgery and I began to give up on my recovery. After my first week with 2 adjustments, I realized that their is relief. 5 5 1When I first came to The Joint I was experiencing a lot of back pain. I had trouble turning my neck and was wearing icy/hot patches or sitting with a heating pad for up to 22 or 23 hours a day. I'd never been to a chiropractor before, but I was desperate. Within one visit, I regained the mobility to turn my neck almost all the way. At the end of the first week (2 visits), I didn't need the patches or heating pad anymore. A month in, I haven't used them again. It seems extreme to say anything "changes your life", but the care has sure made me a lot better.

He answered my questions. He adjusted me and got me out of pain. Now when I start feeling a little stiff, I pop in for an adjustment. It's very convenient.
