I have never been a fan of chiropractor’s, however the pain I was in and almost to the point of not being able to walk brought me to “The Joint” In less than 10 minutes of walking in the door I was sitting in front of Dr Lane, He listened to me, He asked me all the right questions and He encouraged me that He could help me. He made an adjustment on my lower back and asked me to come back the next day to check my adjustments, after my second adjustment less than 24 hours later, I can stand upright, I have much better mobility , and I can walk without any pain or problems ! I’ve done everything from Physical Therapy, many surgeries and medications to help with the pain. Today I went to Dr Lane Martin at Mullins Crossing and I couldn’t be happier. We went into our initial consultation hesitant on how much it would help but willing to try anything - my daughter is a competitive cheerleader and after 11 years was near ready to quit bc of intense lower back pain. Not only was Dr Lane and the front desk manager so welcoming and kind, but Dr Lane was the funniest man I have listened to in a long while. He put her at ease, quickly found the issues and adjusted her perfectly. He wasn't gentle but he wasn't rough, exactly what was needed to have her walking so much easier out of the office than she walked in. And for $49/mth (youth plan) to be seen weekly you literally cannot beat that. Edited to add: After reading some other reviews about Dr. Lane not having good bedside manner I seriously question if they saw the same man we did. We walked in already committed to waiting to sign up for the monthly plan even if it helped just to make sure it was the right choice for her pain. We ended up signing up in part bc the magic he did on her back but mainly bc of how much she already loved him and how funny he was. Go in and see him for yourself before judging him based off what I or anyone else says, we saw multiple patients exit with smiles on their faces after seeing him!

Dr. Lane the primary for the location provided a quick but very effective adjustment. He performed an adjustment I’ve never had before by any other chiropractor based on how my hips were aligned. The sharp pain I had before walking in is gone walking out.

I noticed that there were some not so pleasant reviews posted regarding this location and its full-time doctor, Dr Martin. My advice would be to ignore those reviews and try the place for yourself. I have been seeing Dr Martin at this location for approximately six months. Every visit I have had has been quite pleasant and I feel better every time I walk out the door. Dr Martin is easy going and is prompt at performing chiropractic adjustments. For me, he was able to correct some lower back issues I had been having that other chiropractors were unable to resolve, so for that I am grateful. During my visit I often get to have a friendly and somewhat entertaining chat with Dr Martin has he squishes my spine back into place. This is part of the experience that I look forward to. Other chiropractic offices I have visited seem almost stoic by comparison. I would be remiss if I left out the front desk gals, Trish and Heather. When I walk in the door I am warmly greeted and if there’s a bit of a wait for the doc, then sometimes we chat to the kill the time. Any questions I have had regarding my membership are kindly answered. So, if you dear reader of this review are having reservations about visiting this location, don’t. Give it a try as I suspect you’ll be pleasantly surprised.

This was my first ever visit with a chiropractor and I had an amazing experience. It was incredibly easy to schedule an appointment. I have never had such a bad experience where I have to leave a review but this was the nastiest behavior. I have heard so many bad things about the chiropractor, for many years I was scared to see one. Until now. A coworker and I scheduled an appointment for after work on Friday because she knows the problems I have had with my back/neck and I finally said if it could help, I must at least try. The sweet woman at the front desk, Heather, was so sweet so that made my nerves settle when walking in. I sat down and completed my paperwork after 45 minutes of waiting my coworker was called back and asked Dr. Martin politely “could my friend sit there and watch she is just a bit nervous?” and he said, "what friend?" I introduced myself and he responded with "Icelyn? The Icelyn that changed her appointment several times?" Understandably I was confused because like I told me and my coworker scheduled them together on our computer and I just today I opened the text message I was sent immediately after I scheduled, to get the directions. My coworker, also being confused, said “we just made the appointment so that couldn’t have been her.” He then makes a comment that "the front desk has been talking about this since last week and Icelyn isn't just a common name", again like I said we scheduled this appointment Wednesday March 26th at 8:36am to be precise since I got a text (two days before). I ignore the ignorance, then asked to sit back in the lobby, so when I walk back into the lobby front desk assumed I had been seen already once I tell her no she says to the Dr. "Icelyn is next you haven't done her" he then yells back to the front desk three other names that weren't ready so ready so she again expressed "None of your regular patients are ready you haven’t done Icelyn" He says “well I haven't even read her paperwork it will be a minute.” with an attitude. OfCourse the sweet woman in the front apologizes and at that point I didn’t feel comfortable, I really have never experienced such disgusting behavior. He had no simple respect for anyone in the office, the patients nor the employees and as someone who works in healthcare, NOBODY would ever leave my office feeling the way I left that place. People don't deserve that treatment AT ALL. So end of the story, my back is still killing me.

Lane Martin at the Mullins Crossing location is THE BEST chiropractor i have encountered in 9 years of healing an incredibly unique jet ski back injury!!!! This man has 30 years of experience, and did for me what ***11*** other chiropractors couldn't do over 4 years!!! where multiple MDs and chiropractors insisted they'd done everything they could do, or suggested surgery or carpal tunnel problems, this doctor did NOT dismiss the symptoms i told him and had me fixed in 15 minutes flat as a walk in appointment ????? I have been a patient of the Joint for many years and I cannot recommend the Evans location enough. From the moment you walk in the door and are greeted by the super friendly front desk ladies to the moment you walk out after being treated by one the amazing Doctors it is a fantastic experience. It's a very deceptive business practice. The doctors are good, but I recommend reading the contract- line line before you sign. The Joint Chiropractic - Washington Crossing has charged by credit card serially with no service and refused to refund. When the front desk staff clearly said that we will sign you up for 10 paid sessions only (not a problem )- not to worry no charges there after. Lying - is consistent with Kelli Sherman post. No nice color coated responses to customers complaints make sense! Deception - This is standard business practice it seems here- extra money all cost from from unsuspecting customers.

I got my first visit and already I’m feeling better after my first realignment. I can’t wait to come back for another visit. Absolutely recommend to friends and family. I couldn’t tilt my head back without shrugging my should to alleviate the pain. Now I can fully tilt my head back without shrugging my shoulders. Just left their office in evans ga. Really hurt my back last week and went to see dr lane. I’m walking straight and upright as compared to the way I went in, which is leaning over and to the side. Still in some pain but not near as much.

I went into today for my first chiropractic visit ever. I was a little unsure of what to except and was feeling nervous. However, the staff were friendly and made me feel at ease. They were patient with explaining everything and took their time. I went in because I experience chronic neck and shoulder pain, I've lived with this pain for a long time. I never tried to do anything about it, because I assumed it was from stress on my body from a pelvic injury 16 years ago (not my spine).This injury also caused me to me to have a limp. I didn't think anything would ever fix that. After my adjustment the doctor asked me to stand up and walk around. When I realized that I was no longer limping I was in complete shock. The neck and shoulder pain was relieved drastically as well. I'm excited to continue with visits and see just how much this will improve my overall quality of life.

I love Dr.Snell, he was so gentle adjusting me and so sweet. I was in so much pain from going to another doctor on Washington rd who was very aggressive. But he was so understanding and he definitely got me right back on track. Gave me great advice and knew what to do to make the pain go away, and also have me free ice packs to take home. Billing process is so unorganized. Although the services were excellent the billing/cancellation process made me never want to receive services from this company again. I was unable to physically go to the location to cancel and was informed my services expired in August. September is now here and I was billed. The lady provided me the ability to cancel via email but why wasn’t this provided last month when I called in and was instead informed services would expire at the end of august. Poor communication. I am now paying for a month of services I will never use. What a joke!

The Joint has its place in the Chiropractor world but if you have severe pain not the place to go. They dont do exrays so the examination is not thorough. I visted several times over a 2 month period with some pretty good pain in the same area and I would get on the table 2 or 3 thrusts on the lower back and your done. No real relief. After Going to the joint for a few months I decided to get a second opinion yes I got x-rays and within 2 visits the chiropractor had me Feeling great!

And I was immediately turned away because the Augusta location would be a “better fit” even though I live close to this one….I’m African American btw so take that information how you will but that was unprofessional.They’re excuse were “it’s better doctors for you at the Augusta location” sooo the doctors you have at Mullins crossing aren’t?? I’ve only given my name at this point so how would the front desk lady’s know what’s “best” I went to the Augusta location and had a way better experience with staff and hospitality. It’s 2022 let’s do better…

So for a long time I’ve had lower back issues from an injury I got back in the old army days lol. But I’ve been going to the joint in the town that I live and since I got back from being deployed it’s helped tremendously. My mobility has really increase as well as my flexibility. Now I can palm the floor again. When I got back From deployment back in June, I couldn’t even touch the floor. I’m so stoked lol ????

When I walked into the Joint Chiropractic I was under the impression that my crafting days were over because my hands were going numb and very weak. I also couldn't walk very well for very long little own stand at the sink and do a load of dishes without hurting extremely bad. I am not even a month into this and I am happy to report that after my first visit with Doctor Max I am crafting again I can do a load of dishes I can sweep and mop my whole entire house and I feel so much better! The office staff is always friendly, nice and polite when I walk in there and have to do business with them I love this place I would recommend it to anybody that has any issues with their joints whatsoever or any other pains and aches

I totally enjoyed Dr. Max for my first session. He made me feel comfortable while doing my alignment. I'm a controller so to have me relaxed is a big task. However I forget to show my email for my new patient charge after I told the lady at the desk that I had signed up online so I paid more than what I was expecting others then that it was great.

I have been using both the Evans and Augusta location for years. With a break in membership then resuming. I've canceled my membership again because it's not nearly as convenient as they lead on. On multiple occasions I have checked the online schedule to make sure my preferred doctor was in then drove there and the office be closed. I understand that, as I was told, "they have to take care of themselves" that's fine but you could also have the courtesy to post that on your Facebook page so people don't waste their lunch break or gas making a worthless trip. This has happened way more than a handful of times. I live 30 mins away from a location and have never been successful in calling so have largely relied on the online schedule. Instead of being against policy to post when you're suddenly closed for a day it should be against policy to waste your clients time and gas. That said Dr Benjamin Bowler at the Evans location and Dr Desiree at the Augusta location are amazing. I will not go see Dr Lane. He doesn't have great bedside manner and his adjustments aren't as good as the others in my opinion, I always leave in more pain. This is an amazing concept for affordable and convenient chiropractic Care. I only wish they had better policies on letting clients know when they are not going to be in office. *Putting a sign on the door the week of a closure does not help if someone doesn't go in time to see that sign*

I've visited several locations because of travel. I decided to get an adjustment while in the area. The front office staff was cordial. However, the visit with the doctor was not as pleasant. During my visits with other doctors they talk you through the adjustment. But, Dr. Lane went straight to the adjustment without any explanation of what was about to be performed. As he adjusted my neck area, it seemed forced and I left the office with a slight headache. I mentioned that it was painful, but he stated that it would subside. Unfortunately, I will not return to this location.

Wish I could give them a zero. Dr Bowler is awesome but the front desk lady Shiera is a lier and signed me up for some monthly plan with out telling me. She specifically told me that with the free ones she was giving me that would cover everything the doctor asked. She did not explain verbally the main points of contract. She did not ensure I understood.. She took advantage of me while I was in pain and in a hurry. When I asked about it she apologized like it was no big deal. Very rude. And will definitely spread the word!! I have reached out several times and they think this is a joke. Stealing peoples money with everything going on in the world right now

As a first time patient of The Joint, I found Dr. Bowler to be extremely thorough in his examination and adjustment. He was able to give me a detailed explanation as to what muscles are pulling on my spine and pelvis that are causing the discomfort and exactly what the adjustments will do for me. He also gave me some helpful stretches to do at home between visits to help alleviate pain and tenderness. I left feeling much less pain then when I walked in. First went in about a month ago. Had a great first appointment with Dr. King so I signed up for a month (little did I know it was really a mandatory 2 months). I signed up because I thought Dr. King would be the one adjusting me and he was strong enough to do so. Went back for my 2nd appt and he was no longer working there. This was frustrating. New doctor (Dr. Bowler) is not strong enough to adjust me properly at all and I feel like I'm paying for nothing. No care it seems for what's actually going on with my back and sciatica. Just a 3 minute adjustment and ok bye... ice it. So I tried the other location and saw a diff doctor who was a bit better. But it's out of my way to go to that location. Tried going again to this Evans location and Dr. Bowler was there again. He couldn't even crack my neck left or right. That never happens. There is just no effort. Seems to not really want to be there... I felt like I wasted a drive and I am very frustrated that I have no choice but to do a 2nd month with this Joint location. Bring back Dr. King :( my money is just going down the drain. What a let down! This is a rip off...

I just left The Joint in Evans without even being treated. I had my two preschoolers with me out of necessity, and Dr. Will was so impatient and unkind about them that I decided to walk out. No one else was in the office, so we weren’t disrupting other patients, but we were obviously an inconvenience to Dr. Will. He said that I would not be able to be seen by a “regular” doctor if I had my children in tow, so it was silly of me to think that I could be seen with them at The Joint. I was referred to this location by a fellow mom who often goes in with several of her kids, so perhaps the doctors should get on the same page about their child policy. I will not be back.

I had very bad lower back Pain that had me where I could barely move. Plus I had shoulder pain for over a year that doctors told me that I could do therapy to try using my arm a different wat to relieve the pain. I love going to The Joint every week I'm in town. I try to get my adjustments from Dr. Dan. However, all the Chiropractors are great at their job. I've been going for a long time and I definitely get my money's worth.

Turn around and leave if you see dr... I think his name is King. older dude with a white beard. I’ve never hurt so bad after leaving a chiropractor. Asked him to adjust me a certain way and “from his assessment” I didn’t need to be adjusted that way. I’ve been getting adjusted this way for years and can’t find relief any other way. Edit: Originally rated a 1 star because of my visit with Dr. King. The owner of The Joint reached out to me personally this morning and has given me a free adjustment with a different Dr. and assured me that he will personally talk to Dr. King. I really respect that the owned is so aware and is to timely in addressing an unsatisfied customer.

I'm in the middle of moving and just needed a quick adjustment for some temporary relief before I leave the state. There was more focus on getting me to sign up for their plans, finding a location where I am moving, and pushing signing a contract for service than actually helping me.

I came here after I had been seeing a doctor for QUADRUPLE what the Joint was going to charge. I really didn't have much faith in chiropracty to actually help my situation overall anyway, so I figured I'd just be spending a smaller amount each month for the momentary relief it was providing. Low and behold, a few months later, I suddenly realized, "wait! I don't have the same level of constant pain anymore! I am actually doing things that I wasn't able to do before, and i hadn't even realized it!" Granted, there had been a lot of prayer for my issue taking place at the same time, but I really believe (now) that God used this place (both the young man and the young woman doctor) to help me heal. I have recently begun going somewhere else, but only because the VA is taking over the cost of my treatment. I intend to see how it goes there before I cancel my account with the Joint. Surprisingly enough, the low cost and fast, incomparable convenience DID NOT equate to poor care.
