He studied biology at the University of St. Thomas before attending Northwestern Health Sciences University to pursue his Doctorate of Chiropractic in Minnesota.

Shortly after graduation in 2017, Dr. Karsten moved to Georgia with his now wife, Kate. Dr. Karsten joined the Merrill Brothers’ Joint Chiropractic Team in January 2022.
