I am a California native who has lived in Northern and Southern California. I studied Biology and did my Pre-Med studies in Monterey, California before applying to Life Chiropractic College West in 2013. I received my Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College West located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
I moved to West-Central New Jersey in the summer of 2018 with my partner who is from Hunterdon County, New Jersey. She is also a Chiropractor who practiced in Princeton. We have three young sons, and I have a daughter who graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2021.
I studied Graphic Design and Art History at the Academy of Art in San Francisco, played soccer in my younger years, rode mountain and road bikes, studied photography, and still now and then take pictures as a hobby. I love camping, hiking, and enjoying the outdoors.
We relocated to Idaho with the intention of spending more days outdoors in this beautiful state. My mission is to continually learn and strive for a complete understanding of our place on this planet. I would like to bring people together and learn to live in harmony with each other and our environment. My vision is Healthy, Happy, and Whole. Wholeness and wellness do not require perfection. To be healthy, happy, and whole means understanding our own needs, requirements, limitations, and opportunities to be the best self we can be.
Nate Berrett D.C. is an Idaho native that was raised in Idaho Falls and that is where he spent his entire childhood until the age of 19 when he moved to Japan for 2 years. While there he became fascinated with the culture and the natural healing methods they would use. He was fortunate enough to learn Japanese fluently and it remains a hobby of his.
Shortly after moving back to the USA from Japan Dr. Berrett went to BYU where he studied Exercise Science and obtained a Bachelor of Science in that field. While at BYU he found a job working for a chiropractor where he initially learned how chiropractic works and the positive effects it can have on a person’s well-being and how much better of an option it can be than pills or surgery if they are not necessary.
Dr. Berrett spent 4 years in St. Louis studying chiropractic, where he ultimately earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. After completing his degree he moved back to Idaho and worked in Nampa as his first location. After 3 years in Nampa, Dr. Berrett moved his office to Boise.
He is very excited to work at The Joint and is passionate about helping people. The best thing about chiropractic is its ability to allow the body to heal itself better and more quickly. As someone with back pain, he will be able to empathize with your needs and how to best treat them.
Dr. Berrett has 2 boys and 1 daughter and gets them adjusted regularly and can tell that they tend to not have the same issues as their peers. He takes pride in the fact his children want regular adjustments.
Dr. Emily Eaton, D.C., was born and raised south of Chicago. She started working as a Chiropractic assistant at 15 years of age. Having witnessed Chiropractic not only help people get out of pain but that it also increases one’s wellness and ability to heal naturally, Dr. Eaton knew her career path.
She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Lewis University. She has worked in a sports Chiropractic setting, facilitating rehabilitation and covering athletic events outside the office. Dr. Eaton has covered various sports from the professional level down to youth level sports. She attended the National University of Health Sciences and graduated in 2021 with her Doctorate in Chiropractic. Soon after graduation she and her husband moved across the country to the Treasure Valley in search of a better quality of life to raise their two children.
Outside of the office, Dr. Eaton loves nothing more than spending time with her loved ones, gardening, reading, cooking, and exploring Idaho’s beautiful landscapes!
