I will not be going back EVER. I came in for specific rib pain, spent less than 10 min TOTAL with the chiropractor he did adjustments everywhere but the specific area of pain that I came on for. My rib pain was pin point localized in the front (anteriorly), but post treatment my pain was even more pronounced and in the back (posteriorly). I told the chiropractor this and he said it was residual pain and to take an Epson salt bath. I now can't lift my right arm at all like literally not at all and I'm in WAY MORE PAIN. Also apparently I went to The Joint Chiropractor literally 7 YEARS AGO IN TEXAS and I was not considered a new patient, I did not get the $29 new patient special instead I had to pay $55 to be in more pain and to not be listened to. I'm VERY disappointed in this facility. The chiropractor, Dr. O took a total of 2 min of my extensive medical history and decided to spend the next 3-4 min talking to me about hot yoga and how it helps.... I told him I had dysautonomia and he still suggested this... I can't regulate body temp well with dysautonomia and I'm extremely heat intolerant... It seemed like ill advised advice to give someone with my medical history. I felt like I wasn't listened too when I told him I was in way more pain, he brushed it off as "residual pain" even though he KNOWS I work in physical therapy and know what a manipulation feels like and what residual discomfort feels like... I'm VERY disappointed and I will not be sending any of my patients here for maintenance care or any kind of care for that matter. Yes, physical therapist can do manipulations as well however I work home health and have no colleagues to work on me and when I can't self treat I have to look elsewhere. My rib was subluxed anteriorly when I went it, it was palpable and difficult to breathe, now it is palpable posteriorly and has effected the use of my R arm in abduction, flexion, and horizontal abduction.

They always provide the best service and attention anywhere else for the same attention in the same service will cost four times more per visit of what they charge for a whole month now my concern is not the price it's how they treat me and they always provide me very good attention I really appreciate this service at the best cost I have ever had that I know then I cannot find in anywhere else chiropractors are all expensive for what they do and for what they know but they treat people very fairly.

Hate to be that person but, the doctor sees 70-100 patients in ONE day. First of all how awful for him. Second and most importantly, how can I expect a proper and safe adjustment after he's seen that many people and purely exhausted?! The adjustments are very quick, under 5 minutes and that is WAY too many patients in a day for one doctor. Not safe. They just want your money and do not truly care about the health and wellness of your body.

I have no idea how it works, but it must be magic. I go in with back pain. I leave pain free. Just keep me on the basketball court docs! Maybe we will never be highlighted on ESPN. But Saturday church basketball is a big deal. Just don’t tell my wife it’s not. She thinks I’m dumb for playing. Who cares that I’m a 47 year old grandpa. The Joint keeps me on the court. I have been to multiple joint locations and the this meridian is by far my favorite. The chirps there are so friendly and each throughly adjust based on the needs of the patient while still running efficiently. In my experience that is not always the case at other locations.

The chiropractor, Dr Hontz, was warm and listened attentively to my concerns & requests. He gave me a good adjustment. This was my first experience with any Joint Chiropractic office. I came in there on Friday, April 12, 2024 and it had been a couple years since I had been there. When I went back for my adjustment I talked with the chiropractor but I didn't feel like he was listening to me. I felt like he was trying to just sale his membership. Then when he went to adjust me it was clear he didn't hear my concerns. Because he didn't target my main concern which was my left shoulder. He literally was more focused on previous injuries. Which I get but then u need to actually listen to what brought me in as well. The only true adjustment he did was on my right side which again isn't my left shoulder. Every time I've been to a chiropractor you adjust each side evenly. I felt like I paid $45 for nothing because my main pain I was feeling was not adjusted and I didn't even feel like I had been adjusted. To me that is u just trying to get more money from me. I had NO relief of any pain, no soreness the next day. Nothing! I felt very ripped off. The front desk lady also was not welcoming and nice. She was cold and unfriendly and also didn't listen to me when I tried to tell her how I felt after the adjust. She basically just shoved the tablet into my face. With no kindness or helpfulness. She definitely doesn't like her job or didn't want to be there. I'm in dental the front office person is who represents the office and sets the patients tone for their entire experience. I left there very frustrated, ripped off and would never want to go back and pay $79 a month for a membership. I literally felt like that's all they were trying to get u to buy was their membership but not really worried about the adjust and the issue I came in for in the first place. The chiropractor gave me an adjustment that didn't address my issue and followed it up with this is the adjustments you can expect to get from me. I then tried to explain to him I am use to getting more adjusting at my first visits but he was to interested in his sales pitch he again didn't listen to my concerns. Beware! They just want your money. Not into listening or trying to care for people's concerns. Please do not come back with some lame excuse about it takes more then 1 visit to feel better...I have been to chiropractor plenty in my life. I know he didn't do any type of adjustment that would target my shoulder. Cuz I have gone to a chiropractor for same issue and he adjusted my entire body first visit and definitely targeted my shoulder I walked out feeling amazing and a little sore the next day. This was not a full body adjustment and it definitely wasn't an adjustment that would target my left shoulder. I came over right after a massage. Cuz I know my muscles get really tight and I need to be adjusted after a massage.

Went to a boise Joint Chiro office. Have a lower rib that is out. Gives me sharp pain! I explained the pain to chiropractor. Did the full adjustment: lower & middle back, then neck, but when it came time to manipulate the rib back in, i was informed that nothing more could be done cuz it was a "muscle pull"! Basically..... just deal with it! This particular rib comes out quite frequently, it's not my 1st rodeo with it, even in the last 6 weeks! THE IS NOT A MUSCLE STRAIN!! Was extremely disappointed!

I tried going back to a traditional chiropractor after being with The Joint for a a little over a year. I lasted 3 visits. My copay was more than a visit here, and after waiting far past my visit, the doc would only spend like 90 seconds with me. The convenience of being able to see a doc when you feel it, instead of just when they are open, makes me more likely to go go regularly. Plus, I love the staff and doc at this location, it's always a good visit.

Phenomenal experience all around. I have minimal experience with chiropractors but I can tell you I left Dr.Chavez feeling immensely better. They don’t push sales on you, they offer packages to you only after the adjustment. They let their work speak for itself. I highly highly highly recommend Dr. Chavez and The Joint, especially to the stubborn construction workers that don’t like going to the doctor. They also take care of veterans and active duty military with a discount.

I was a bit skeptical about going to a chiropractic chain, but I am very glad I did! Why I like this place: 1)The prices are advertised up front, and the $29 initial visit is legit (Finally something that isn't too good to be true lol, or a bait and switch!!) I also like that they don't accept insurance so you are not treated any differently. 2)There is a monthly membership program but I am a bit squeamish with adjustments, so I will go at my own pace? Nor was my arm twisted to agree to more appointments 3)No appointment needed! 4)The best part is the care I received was excellent. Dr Chavez explains everything he's doing- as he's doing it and why. I love being informed about the treatment I'm receiving. I went in for neck pain and he adjusted me from my hips up. I didn't even know I needed that but I'm so glad he did! He did a great job and I got the relief I needed. Thank you!

I am visiting Idaho, woke up this morning with neck pain because I slept wrong. I googled "The Joint near me" and found this chiropractor. Dr. Chavez was great. He asked questions to understand what I was feeling. He checked my record on the computer to see my history and then as he adjusted me he explained everything. I would highly recommend this office. If you’re not buying a plan they are a lot less helpful. I live with my dad he is a vet and we are immediate family but they refused to let me use discount advised my dad is on disability and paying for my visit and they wouldn’t even use the welcome visit discount or Groupon as I had been to another office over 3 years ago

Edit: They replied on here knowing what they've already decided the outcome to be. They already emailed me last week that they are only going to give me a partial refund. Maybe you need some retraining of front staff to make sure they know how to turn in paperwork so this doesn't happen. You have my number and email, you can reach me when you decide to give me all my money back. Would give it 5 stars for the adjustments and 0 for customer service. I cancelled my membership in June 2022. The girl at the front desk never turned in the paperwork and I noticed my card was still getting charged. Went in yesterday and they said I'd get a call back... waited till this afternoon and no call back. I called and they told me the managers have not replied back yet. Really? This is over $400 they've stolen from me and the management can't even get back. I was told today that they SHOULD get back to me in 3-5 business days. Sure, we'll see....

Super fast and efficient process to get me going and enrolled. I was ready to walk out because the noise of the machines was freaking me out and people came in and left so quickly. I was nervous. I’ve avoided the chiropractor for a long time, mainly because it generally feels like a used car lot sales pitch when you go in for the first time. I hate having to deal with that! No heavy sales pitch here, very affordable. I was waking up with a 7-8 pain level every day for about a year, I finally decided that I needed to do something other than rub cbd cream on it. I was so fed up with the pain and the joint seemed like a place I could start with. I was paired up with Dr. Chavez, he is knowledgeable and professional. He’s very consistent with his adjustments and genuinely seems like he wants you to feel better. Most days I don’t even think about my back hurting. If there is a little Pain going on they hover around 1-3, which is way better than where I was at. They don’t have x ray and all of the additional add ons that you see at other facilities. I have a very busy day to day, so being able to get in and out of there under 10mn, feeling better, works great for me. All in all, not disappointed that I signed up. This place is part of my weekly routine now, feeling better makes for a better day.??

I was absolutely terrified of going to a chiropractor before this place but injuries forced me to at least try and I have to say Dr. Chavez is extremely knowledgeable and is a genuinely kind person who wants nothing but to make you feel better. Visits are as fast as you need them to be but you aren’t rushed in any way if you have questions or concerns. The first time I saw him I told him I didn’t trust him at all and he immediately explained exactly what he thought might be happening, what he would like to do (if I’m comfortable) and how he would do it. I cannot gush enough about this business and its employees!! No appointments, you need help now...come on in! And it is top notch! Addressed multiple issues in about ten minutes and sent me on my way. Don't know if I have ever felt this good before...or this tall. Just wonderful. I don't have to wait for weeks or months if I tweak my back at work. Didn't sleep quite right and you can't turn your head...get it fixed now. Its awesome, and really affordable to boot. I came here when my regular chiropractor was out and I hurt my neck.. I felt so welcomed and taken care of. Both Dr Barrett and Dr Chavez helped me and were amazing! The Joint has a great program! I pay the monthly 69.95 fee for four visits and I feel its a great value. I’m always in and out in under 10 minutes which is awesome. I’m able to keep my neck and back discomfort minimized and I feel the Chiropractor’s take their job seriously. I like that I can get maintenance on my back and it doesn’t have to be a big ordeal. In the short time I spend with them they are always very personable and they do a great job remembering who you are!

Love Dr. Chavez at the Fairview location! Friendly, professional, supportive. He’s not heavy-handed like chiropractors tend to be. He appreciates my work as a massage therapist and gave me exercises that will help with my low back tension and stiffness. I’ve been going to the Meridian location for several months now along with many family members. I love the convenient location and quick in and out concept. However, if I have questions or concerns, they don’t rush you out. I started due to an injury, which I recovered from thanks to Doc Chavez. Now I pop in as needed. If there is a tiny wait, the counter staff are super friendly. I highly recommend.

My husband and I get weekly adjustments. Their prices are the best around and the adjustments are outstanding. Today, we were even taught special stretches that my husband should do. It honestly doesn't matter which doctor you see, everyone is fantastic and will help.

The Joint is the best. I have used their services in the past for my back problems and they always are able to get me realigned and up and moving like normal fairly quickly. Great staff. I came in as a new client, filled out the paperwork, took me back and gave me an overview of the spine and what chiropractic treatment can do to help with my lower back pain. The adjuster laid me on the table popped my back and I was in and out. Ended up buying 20 sessions and I will be back and I will recommend this place
