Dr. David Fish, D.C. first attended the University of Detroit Mercy in Detroit, MI where he earned his Masters of Science in Nutrition in 2008 and fell in love with the idea of helping others control and maintain their neck and back pain. Because of his experiences at UDM, Dr. Fish found himself at the National University of Health Sciences where he obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic in 2012. Dr. Fish began working in private practice before joining The Joint Chiropractic Chicago in 2015.
Dr. Fish prides himself on his service and patient care, and loves being able to help others with his hands and mind. He has learned to serve a wide community in the Chicago area ranging from athletes, infants, and grandparents. Dr. Fish excels in working with issues such as sciatica, migraine relief, neck and lower back pain and radiating pain, from getting the pain to centralize back to the lumbar spine and reducing it from there.
Dr. Fish loves working with his awesome patients and not working behind a desk. When he isn’t working at The Joint Chiropractic in Chicago, IL, he is spending his time staying active, or playing board games with friends new and old.
Dr. Michael Scardina was born and raised in Oak Lawn, IL. Dr. Scardina obtained his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2017 from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL. He has been in the Chiropractic field for over 10 years as a devout patient and now a doctor for The Joint since 2018.
Dr. Scardina thrives on helping patients enhance their lives through the power of Chiropractic. From a young age he knew he wanted to be a doctor after losing his mother to breast cancer. Improving and eliminating pain and suffering is the forefront to why Dr. Scardina loves what he does.
In addition to helping an array of patients, ranging from newborns to his 90 year old Italian grandmother, he has also had the privilege of treating those with headaches, scoliosis, ulcerative colitis, and cerebral palsy.
Dr. Scardina would not be the doctor he is today if it were not for his wife Vanessa and his 4 children- Gracie, Vinny, Mia, and Bella. When he is not working at The Joint, he is watching sports, going to the movies, and taking vacations.
Dr. Derrick Pousson was born and raised in Round Lake, IL. He attended Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville where he was a 4 year starter for the Wrestling program while studying Exercise Science.
In 2014, he enrolled In Logan Chiropractic because while wrestling at a high level his body needed regular tune-ups. This made him a firm believer in Chiropractic’s fundamental principal of ‘removing restrictions in the body’s ability to heal itself.’
His mother was told she would need neck surgery to ‘feel better.’ Dr. Derrick asked her to wait just a little bit until he could help her. His first adjustment after graduating April 2017 was for her, and after that she felt instant sinus/headache relief, was able to move her head easier, and canceled her surgery.
Dr. Josh grew up in a small town in Indiana, this is where he received all his values in life. He started to see a chiropractor after a tragic fall from a bed and hurt his neck. From that point forward he leaned on chiropractic care for pain relief. It wasn’t until years later that he found out that chiropractic care wasn’t just about the pain, it was about the entire body, helping to boost the immune system, helping the body to function at optimum levels. Dr. Josh graduated from Life University, located in Marietta GA. He also received the award for Integrative Change for the eight-core proficiencies. He is excited to help the people of Chicago.
