I've been twice to the Bloomington, IN and I won't be back. Both times they seemed completely reliant on my self-diagnosis rather than making determinations using their expertise. My most recent visit I had to request that she assess my hips. Then she says "Oh yeah, your left side is out of whack" and proceeds to adjust me. If I didn't mention it she would have just sent me on my way. Also, my 2 visits here are the only time in 50+ lifetime adjustments that I wasn't placed on my side and adjusted. Finally, my last visit the table I was on kept malfunctioning. My chiropractor said multiple times "this table has been so spotty recently". There were literally 4 other unused tables that we could have easily used instead. Both times I left thinking "poor work, poor effort". BTW - The Joint in San Jose, CA is fantastic and I've gotten excellent results when I lived there.

I have seen Dr. Katie three times now in Bloomington IN and she is Remarkably thorough, kind. Plus, she asks questions and then actually THINKS! She is truly an exceptional chiropractor! I've been doing chiro for 30+ years and have been through the doors of too many Privately Owned chiropractors whom, bluntly put, hate their job and/or are ethically lazy - more than once a Dr has said to me, or I've overheard it said to another patient, "Eh, I got you better than when you walked in; come back next week, I'll adjust this other area." For reference: I gratefully drive 3 hours RT to see Dr Katie, and I have a brain injury which is fatiguing to do- but It Is Entirely Worth it!!! Typing this review is agonizing(took 90min with a migraine) but, I'm hoping I can help others find legit pain relief while avoiding the frustration, wasted time and money, and likely giving up on chiropractic treatment - PLEASE, just go to The Joint. * regardless of which The Joint location you "Sign up" at, you can visit ANY, nationwide, The Joint. The Joint has proven to be the best chiro decision I've ever made. Here is why: I've now encountered nine Dr's in 4 different office locations, in 3 different states. Had to come back here and add some context because Dr. Katey is amazing! I have had neck pain from an injury for about a year. I travel for work and use the joint in every market I am in. She was courteous and I felt like I was getting so much more than an adjustment from her with the knowledge she gave me on neck stretches and scar tissue. I don't know about how their treatment goes but I will say if you are a new customer, do not expect them to abide by appointments. I waited 25 minutes and watched them take 4 people before me that didn't have appointments. They say it works like planet fitness and you can just scan in then walk to the back. Well that's great for people that have been seen before because they will take you first and ignore the person that's been waiting in the front. I will not be going back there nor will I refer anyone. Hopefully they get this figured out though since they just opened.

This was my first time ever going to a chiro. I had my own fears of going but decided to try it out anyway. I am so glad I did! I feel so much better and it helped my pain after just one visit. I slept better as well. I usually can't sleep on my side without getting a pain in my neck and a head ache but I was able to sleep for hours without waking up uncomfortable. Check in was quick and easy. The first time going and getting registered does take a bit longer but after that they will get you right in and send you straight back. The doctors did a great job. They were very educating and listened well to all of my problems and were able to help me with those issues, educate me and keep me comfortable. I highly recommend this place!

This was my first time going to a chiropractor. Walking in I was a little nervous but the check in process went smoothly - you do need to complete a bit of paperwork but it’s all easy and made easier by their electronic integration. I was able to complete mine in about 5 minutes using my phone - they also offer iPads to complete it on if you prefer. I met my chiropractor who made jokes to set me at ease and took the time to understand what stress my body was going through daily by asking about my job, what repetitive motions I need to make and offered advice on how to alleviate the back pain I’ve been having. After that came the alignment. The cracking may be a little startling but I was warned before hand and prior to adjusting my neck he made sure to mention it would be louder than all the other cracks. When I say that I feel like I could run a marathon right now, I mean it! Currently the joint is offering free alignments for new clients. Take advantage of this! They are wonderful! They also offer walk ins (not sure if this applies to the free alignments deal but judging by the sign promoting the offer in their window, I would assume so) They do not accept health insurance but do accept HSAs Additional walk in appointments are about $55 or you have the option to sign up for a plan which I was informed would be about $75/month- you are also able to use your memberships at any The Joint locations. 10/10 would recommend!
