Dr. Tory Hall, D.C. was born and raised in Southern Indiana about an hour north of Newburgh in Jasper, Indiana. His mom’s side of the family is from Newburgh, so he is very familiar with the area. His mom, aunt, and even grandmother went to Castle! Dr. Hall attended Indiana State University where he received a Bachelors of Science degree specializing in Exercise Science. During his time at Indiana State, he was a bullpen catcher for the baseball team for 3 years.

He earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan University in St. Louis in 2019. His first couple of years practicing were in New Jersey. He then moved to the Raleigh/Durham area in North Carolina for about a year after that. He then came back home to Southern Indiana to be closer to family. In September of 2021 he joined The Joint family at The Joint Chiropractic clinic in Newburgh. "My favorite thing about being in the field I am in, is being able to help people live their lives the way they want to. I love teaching people how to help themselves feel better by teaching them exercises and stretches to do at home in conjunction with the adjustments we provide in the clinic."

His hobbies are working out, baseball (watching now), reading, and playing with his dog Wrigley (Riggs). Baseball was a huge part of his life, and a major reason of why he became a chiropractor. "When playing sports, there are some bumps in the road at times. I got injured a few times and my parents took me to a chiropractor for care. He got me back on the field as quickly as possible. That chiropractor is my mentor to this day. From that time spent with him, I wanted to become a chiropractor. However, initially when he told me how much schooling it would be, I was like no way! Now here I am helping others how he helped me...and I enjoyed every year of schooling!”

Dr. Hall’s love of baseball started at a young age. He spent 20+ years playing the sport. He started at the age of 4 and played competitively until about age 24. He has recreationally played softball and caught bullpens after his competitive times. In fact, he has caught bullpens as recently as 2022 with the Evansville Otters! Dr. Hall is an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and tries to go to as many games as he can.

He has a 2 year old Bernedoodle dog named Wrigley (not named after the Cubs field lol). He is a very charismatic 75-pound lap dog…or so he thinks!

A fun fact about Dr. Hall is that he has met Blondie (Deborah Harry) on multiple occasions!

Dr. Dana Pfau, D.C., was born and raised in Dubois, Indiana. She earned her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Logan University in December of 2020. Her undergraduate years were also spent at Logan University where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Life Science. Dr. Dana studied massage therapy at Spencerian College. She also was previously certified through ACE as a personal trainer.

Before coming to Newburgh, Dr. Dana first practiced chiropractic in Pennsylvania. She then joined The Joint team in October 2022 at our Newburgh, IN clinic. When asked what is the best thing about being in the chiropractic field, Dr. Dana says, “The best thing is helping people get out of pain and improve their health without the use of pharmaceuticals or medications.”

In her free time, Dr. Dana enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with family and friends. She is married to her husband, Spencer, and they have two cats and one dog.
