She received her undergraduate degree at St. Louis University and dual majors in Biology and Theology. She graduated chiropractic school from Logan University and graduated in 2003. She met her husband in chiropractic school. Previously, Dr. Lisa practiced with her husband in Lawrenceville, Illinois and Vincennes, Indiana where she still practices.

She joined The Joint in July 2024. Her favorite part of being a chiropractor is helping people stay active and able to do what they love. She also enjoys seeing patients of all ages from newborns and pregnant moms, to the elderly.

Dr. Lisa has 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. One son plays college baseball and one son plays college basketball. Her two daughters are still at home and play volleyball, basketball, and softball. Her favorite pastime is having a front row seat to their successes and athletic events.

Dr. Lisa has a habit of buying butter and toilet paper, even when she doesn’t need them. Her husband would call it hoarding, although she supplied toilet paper for neighbors during the Great Toilet Paper Shortage of 2020.

It was unusual circumstances that got me interested in Chiropractic. I had injured my back, and my sister got me an appointment with her chiropractor. While I was going to this chiropractor, my 3-year-old daughter began having severe bronchial asthma attacks. This was before they had inhalers like today. All we could do was go to the hospital every time she would have an attack. I told the chiropractor about it, and she said, "Bring her in, and we will examine her and see if I can help her." Low and behold, after her first adjustment, no more asthma attacks. This got my attention.

I changed my course of study to pre-med with the intention of going to Chiropractic College. I graduated from Lansing Community College with a degree in Chemistry. I was then accepted into Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, GA. I graduated from Life Chiropractic College in March 1988 magna cum laude. I passed the National Board Exams for the Doctor of Chiropractic degree that same year.

I packed up the wife and four kids and took my first job as a chiropractor in Stuart, FL. I worked for Grissom Chiropractic and was soon operating a satellite clinic in Jensen Beach, FL. A year later, we moved to Sevierville, TN, and opened Abundant Health Chiropractic. In 2010, I got a divorce and moved to Nashville, TN, and took a job as the lead Chiropractor in a personal injury clinic. In 2019, I was recruited by The Joint Chiropractic of Clarksville, TN. In 2024 and 2025, I took some time off from chiropractic to pursue other interests. In Sept of 2025, I was recruited by The Joint Chiropractic of Terre Haute, IN. I got my Indiana license of chiropractic and began work here in Terre Haute October 1st, 2025.
