First time visiting this location and Dr. Seif was AMAZING! I was in the area visiting heading up north and stopped along the way. There was no wait, but importantly, Dr. Seif took the time to hear all my complaints, properly evaluate me and DIDN’T RUSH ME. A few week prior I visited another clinic in the area the Dr was horrible and rushed me saying the Joint wasn’t for thorough adjustments but Dr. Seif was different. Courteous and kind like my home clinic. Needless to say, I wouldn’t hesitate to return any time I’m in the area. I will seriously drive out of the way just to be seen by him. Dr. Seif is fantastic! I was devastated when the Rockville location closed and I went too long without a chiropractor, but now I make the drive to Laurel from Derwood and it is worth it! Just use back roads, not the interstate, hah! He has helped me through all my crazy hypermobility issues and has continued to help me through different pain points and sent me helpful exercises (that I really need to do ?). Very knowledgeable and informative, which makes him easy to communicate with, even if I am having an issue. It can be hard to speak up with some chiropractors if you need to, but it is imperative that you do, they need to know if something is still aching, pressure is too much, etc. He makes this process very easy and I am so happy to be moving forward at the location. I also love Jahayra, one of the secretaries, as my family already loved her from our original location, as well! I met a different secretary today and she was super sweet, too!

I came to visit the joint in Laurel on Tuesday April 21, 2026. I met with and was adjusted by Dr. Moose. Nice guy. The early red flag was he has been a Chiropractor for only 3 years. When doing his manual adjustment of my hips it just felt off. I was scheduled to come back 2 days later. And then Twice per week. Today is a full week later and I feel injured from the adjustment. I called In today to say that I do not plan to come back for future services and please cancel the membership that I signed up for. The receptionist (also nice) said to go talk to this other staff Dr. whose name is Dr Byrd (also nice)Who mentioned he was just standing in shortly. I gave him this run down and he said they would have to reach out to the owners to get approval to cancel. He had me sign some cancelation forms with the receptionist. She supported his message saying they would check with the owners on the cancellation. I told the young lady that I would write my review while you guys figure this out and she said Google reviews really have a bad effect. I said I understand. That’s where we are. A newer Dr. who potentially injured me and the staff not being able to assist.

This place is terrible; they steal people's money. When you try to cancel, they refuse and just keep draining funds from your bank account. My experience here was horrible. They made me sign for a payment of $89 when they should have only charged me for the consultation on the day I visited. They buried me in paperwork and signatures just to swindle my money. I called many times, but they told me they couldn't process a cancellation. I do not recommend this place at all; they are unprofessional, and the person who performs the stretching exercises doesn't know what they're doing. Absolutely horrible experience with Dr. Harper. She really rushed through the appointment and does not care about you as a patient. You can feel her energy and that she either wants to just go home or she’s just going through the motions. She took pleasure in telling me everything she couldn’t do instead of what she could accomplish and do. She offered NO solutions and tried make me believe that there was not solutions when the other doctors that worked there yielded positive results. In the end she tells me that HER scope is limited. And that is the core issue. Instead she tried to project her shortcomings on to me as the patient. I would not suggest her at all.

Well for starters. It's chiropractics aka fale medicine which is proven to be ineffective. It's a shame older people believe in this scam. All it is, is releasing nitrogen gas bubbles from your joints which you can do yourself. They offer you a treatment plan that's expensive that does nothing really and nothing they do is backed by science they say stuff to you about medical jargon that doesn't really exist. Furthermore "adjustments" lets be real it's a temporary solution that never ends with the victim fully recovered. No matter who you are or how healthy you are they will always find something wrong with you. Please be smarter people and if you're in pain actually go to a physical therapist who has at least a MD in an actual medical field. Because a real doctor will turn you away if there's nothing wrong with you.

Went to this location on Sept 4th. The business is supposed to open at 10:00 and no employee even showed up until 10:10. Finally, a female doctor showed up and let us in. It took her a few minutes to get to computers working, so it was 10:30 when I left(I was the 1st customer) and there was still no receptionist there!!!! My adjustment was poor and didn’t help me at all. The doctor barely did anything and I hurt as bad when I left as when I got there, Don’t go to this location, it’s the worst adjustment I’ve ever received in 12 years.

Absolutely a waste of time and money. I have been to many chiropractors and have never had only 2 minutes spent on adjusting me. At this rate I will never get better. I was never told that appointments are only 2-5 minutes until today and she didn't even sped 2 minutes on me, I spent more time in traffic. Today the lady didn't even work on the issue I went to them for and proceeds to tell me that the Activator tool won't work on me. I don't like being popped the traditional way, which is what I told them on my very first visit, I was told that isn't a problem and that the Activator tool will work. I am very disappointed in this place, they are all about making money, not making people better.

I rarely ever leave reviews but I felt my experience needed to be shared. When I arrived the receptionist was on a call & I waited patiently for a minute or so, nothing crazy, however from what I gathered from the call she was on it was either her boss reprimanding her or an angry client. Either way she asked if she could call her back in order to get me checked in, I’m assuming the person on the other end didn’t want a call back and the receptionist just rolled her eyes & put the phone on the counter. The worker was clearly overwhelmed or annoyed at the situation and I felt me checking in just didn’t help matters. She would mumble under her breath about the phone call but was still trying to be professional with me but you could tell she was just over it. We all have bad days, I get it. But I felt she was very dismissive towards me. After I sat down and she told me she would be sending me a check in link to complete, which at that time she went out front to make a phone call to talk about the first call and after about 5 mins came in still on the call discussing the call she had. While waiting I can hear the Dr with a patient and she’s VERY attentive with her, which I felt was great and made me happy to know I was getting a Dr like her. However when it was my turn I felt extremely rushed. After greeting me she follows up with “I’ll do an adjustment but come back Saturday for the full exam”. I felt was a little odd. During my “adjustment”, I felt even more rushed. When she went to adjust my hips which is my biggest concern, she barely even applied any pressure and I felt she wasn’t strong enough to do it. (She was a very small woman, which doesn’t mean weak) however absolutely nothing came of my adjustment. During the whole maybe 2 mins I’m in the back the receptionist is still on the phone discussing the call she had previously, and at this point it’s more obvious the one on the call may have been her boss in the first place which I don’t believe should have been taken place with clients in the building for all to hear. I paid $55 that I really didn’t have to be rushed, listen to work place gossip & brushed off. I’m in the medical field & under stand how draining things can be however quality of care should never be lacking.

This laurel location usually has great doctors and a good vibe. I have been a member for 3 months and canceled in person after todays 11:00 AM Thursday 3/20 visit. The doctor was jumping on me like I was a rag doll, I almost fell off of the table, this has never happen. She tried to do the side twist stretch and wasn't strong enough to follow it all the way through so she used aggressive pushing and jumping and causing sharp pains in my lower back and behind my thighs. I stopped mid treatment and refused to continue. I told her I was in major pain now more than ever before and she said that was tried to say its normal...which is not true. I've been better since I started 3 months ago, regular visits and at home stretch. Now I feel worse than I did when I came in months ago. This experience made me cancel my monthly membership, I can't see me returning and getting the same doctor ever again!!! Update: I just called in and tried to get information from them on the owner and was treated poorly the young man who answered the phone literally hung up the phone on me, after I called back when he gave me the wrong information. I asked for the Doctors name and they wouldn't give that to me.

Chiropractic clinics are always hit and miss for me. Concern Regarding Wellness Package and Lack of Transparency Dear Shaun, I hope this email finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the way my recent experience with The Joint Chiropractic has unfolded. Specifically, I feel that there was a lack of transparency and communication regarding the wellness package I purchased, which I am now unable to use at any other location. When I was initially presented with the wellness package, I was not informed that it would only be usable at the Laurel location, which, as it turns out, is quite far from me. I should have done more research to identify nearby locations, but had I known that my package was limited to one clinic, I would never have agreed to proceed with the purchase. Without access to a car, I relied on Uber to visit the Laurel location. After spending nearly $60 on a round-trip fare, it became clear to me that this location is not feasible for me to visit regularly. A clinic that genuinely cares about its patients should prioritize full transparency, and unfortunately, I did not feel that was the case here. I understand that policies are in place, but I hope you can appreciate the frustration this has caused. I came into The Joint in Laurel, i’ve been experiencing a lot of back pain. I was greeted at the door by the sweetest young lady named Jalayah, she told me about all kinds of plans and deals they had. Dr. Abadom was when i went in, told him my issues- he was able to relieve my pain and give me suggestions on different stretches and exercises to do at home. I was skeptical about how a chiropractic appointment could benefit me, until I was invited to an open house event. I had been lightly suffering and living with chronic low back pain. Luckily I was able to have a consultation and be treated by Steven. He told me the source of my pain and prescribed a treatment plan that would relieve the pain that I didn't know was fixable. Immediately after exiting the exam table I felt I could stand and walk better. I was able to get in and out of my car without a grimace. I must say: I am no longer skeptical.

When I signed up with the company, I agreed to two months of service. Even though I enjoyed the service, the commute was just not feasible for me to keep attending. I went in and canceled my service. I was still charged for the following month after several attempts I was not able to ever get my refund even after speaking to the owner.

I had severe pain in my left arch after walking 18 holes of Golf. I couldn't put weight on my left foot. Dr Davis adjustments alleviated the pain and I could walk normally. She also gave me exercises to help develop flexibility in that foot. I was very pleased with Dr Davis kind and attentive treatment. ?

This is what all chiropractors should be. You can just drop in anytime you need an adjustment, no appointment needed. I've never waited for more than 10 mins. All 3 chiropractors I've been adjusted by here have been great. They've also given me stretches to do at home that have REALLY helped.
