Dr. Justin White joined The Joint Chiropractic clinics located in Saint Peters, Missouri, Creve Coeur, Missouri, Chesterfield, Missouri and O’Fallon, Missouri in 2021 and was later appointed Clinic Director at the O’Fallon clinic.
Dr. White is originally from Maine – most recently Winthrop. He attended the University of Maine and graduated in 2015 with a B.S. in Kinesiology and Physical Education.
“I got into chiropractic by making the most of an opportunity that was brought up after doing my internship at the conclusion of undergrad. I worked with a Doctor of Chiropractic, got to know him, and ended up getting his recommendation to earn my doctorate,” says Dr. White.
So, it was off to Logan University in Chesterfield, Missouri where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2018.
Dr. White knew chiropractic was his calling after realizing the impact he could have on patients’ lives. “It was exciting to feel the urge to sculpt the best treatment for each patient,” he says. “The feeling of changing their lives visit by visit and feeling the appreciation the patients have for you when you can do this, made me fall in lovewith chiropractic.”
Dr. White says the best thing about working at The Joint Chiropractic in O’Fallon is, “Taking part in a growing business while continuing to serve people’s needs.”
Dr. White enjoys spending time with his wife Alexis and their two dogs – Theo & Quinn. He also enjoys cooking, hiking, playing basketball and watching St. Louis sports.
In Case You Didn’t Know
Dr. White says that he always stocks his fridge with BBQ sauce. “Can’t go wrong with BBQ sauce. It makes everything better,” he says.
Dr. White says his perfect dinner party would include NFL quarterback Tom Brady, actor Jim Carrey, motivational speaker Tony Robbins and “some strange character to keep Jim Carrey busy”. He adds, “I’ve always respected Tom for his work ethic and respect for the game and Tony Robbins just gets me fired up.”
Dr. White says the coolest thing he has ever done was climbing across Knife Edge Trail at Mt. Katahdin in Maine. “That had to been one of the riskiest things I’ve done,” he says. “Nearly a mile up, looking ahead at your very narrow rocky path without almost straight down drops of both sides of the path. At the summit of the mountain (where the application trail ends) there was no noise, just silence.”
Dr. Ed Ernstrom joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2021 and was named Managing Doctor of Chiropractic and Clinic Director at The Joint Chiropractic in Central West End, located in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Ernstrom is originally from Martinez, California. He attended Brigham Young University and graduated in 2005 with a B.S. in Exercise Science.
Dr. Ernstrom says, “I was first interested in the sports medicine world. I called all the chiropractors and physical therapists in that area asking if they might be hiring. Only the chiropractors were willing to entertain my application for work. As they interviewed me to be an employee, I was interviewing them about their profession. I agreed with them that surgery and pain medications were being over utilized. I found out the chiropractic was an amazing option for individuals that are looking for care that didn’t default to surgery and opiates.”
Dr. Ernstrom moved forward with chiropractic and attended Logan University and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2010.
Dr. Ernstrom knew chiropractic was his calling because it came naturally. “It is my personality to be a helper and an entertainer. I have intuitive use of my hands. My brain thinks in the ways of biomechanics (force, vectors, torque, etc.). As I began to first treat individuals as a student, I felt at home performing care on individuals large and small, old and young,” he says.
r. Ernstrom says, “The best part of being in the chiropractic field is being the first chiropractor for an individual. In the United States, more than 90% of the population have never been to a chiropractor. Every time I am the first chiropractor for someone means that one more person will now know that there are more options to help them without surgery and medications for their pain.”
Dr. Ernstrom says the best thing about working at The Joint Chiropractic is, “When the patient comes off the table and thanks me with a smile.”
Dr. Ernstrom enjoys spending time with his wife Cambria and 3 sons (Zach, Brigg and Rock), as well as smoking/grilling met and exercising.

He has run for local office, survived a hurricane, had a close call with a tornado and experience both large and small earthquakes. “The single coolest thing I have ever done is being married for over 20 years and raising my 3 boys,” he says.
