Dr. Kris Hammond joined The Joint Chiropractic in 2016 when he started at the St. Charles clinic. Dr. Kris earned his doctorate in 2012 from Logan College of Chiropractic.
Dr. Kris says the best thing he likes best about being a chiropractor is “seeing the relief patients get from chiropractic care”, he says. “Watching patients lives change from pain relief is incredible”.
Dr. Kris grew up in Chicago, Illinois, and worked there before moving to Missouri. He and his wife Megan enjoy biking on the Katy trail and taking walks at the local parks around the St. Charles area. In his spare time, Dr. Hammond enjoys weight lifting, traveling and golfing.
It was through high school football that Dr. Kris was led to chiropractic.
“I was entering high school and wanted to start playing football my freshmen year,” Dr. Kris says. “ My parents wanted to make sure I was okay to play the sport so we went for a physical to our family physician. After the physical, x-ray's were ordered and I found out that I had the start of scoliosis. I was then referred to a local chiropractor for a spinal assessment and treatment. I'll never forget the way I felt after my first adjustment. I felt instant relief of pain that I didn't know I had”. “ I always wanted to be in the health care field and was thinking about manual therapies for a career, it didn't long for me to decide that chiropractic was for me.”
“Working at The Joint allows us as chiropractors to focus on patient care and treat them on an individual basis”.

She has learned to serve a wide community in the St. Louis region ranging from athletes, infants, and grandparents.
