Dr Mike is originally from St. Louis, MO. He graduated with his BS in Life Science from University of New Mexico and continued on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic in 1993 from Logan University College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO.

Dr Mike first became interested in chiropractic when a chiropractor helped his mom, “I wondered, “How did the chiropractor fix my mom’s back in three days, when her primary doctor and the spine specialist said she would never walk again without surgery?!”.

During his free time Dr. Mike likes spending time with his wife, 3 children, and friends. His hobbies include cybersecurity, playing guitar, and learning new things.

  • What’s one thing in your fridge that you must have and why? Milk, because I crave it often.

Dr Jessi is originally from Florissant, MO. She graduated with her BS in Human Biology and Master’s in Nutrition and Physical Performance from Logan University. Dr Jessi continued on and earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in August 2014 from Logan University College of Chiropractic in Chesterfield, MO.

Dr Jessi has two certifications from the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) in Webster Technique (adjustments for pregnant mothers) and a Prenatal Certification (adjustments for women trying to get pregnant, during pregnancy, and postnatal care). She is also certified in Spinning Babies which is a certification that helps with breech babies as well as helping mothers before and during labor.

Dr Jessi first became interested in chiropractic when she was 10 years old. She had chronic migraines and played competitive volleyball. From the first moment she became interested in chiropractic she wanted to become a chiropractor. The best thing about chiropractic for Dr Jessi is helping people live their life and live it to their fullest potential. During her free time Dr. Jessi likes spending time with her family, building Legos, and playing volleyball. She has two Dobermans named Hela and Lucifer.

Dr. Tobias Terhaar, known to his patients as Dr. T, has been practicing since 2019 and joined The Joint Chiropractic in February 2023. A St. Louis, MO native, Dr. T was drawn to chiropractic because of its drug-free approach to healing and its ability to help the body function at its best.

Before entering the chiropractic field, Dr. T attended the University of Maine and Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE), earning a Bachelor of Science in 2011 with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. He went on to graduate from Logan University as part of the Class of 2019, officially beginning his career in chiropractic.

Dr. T knew chiropractic was his calling after experiencing its benefits firsthand and seeing how it helped members of his own family. One of the most rewarding parts of his work is seeing the relief in his patients’ eyes, especially when they begin to feel better and move more comfortably.

At The Joint, Dr. T values the ability to provide affordable chiropractic care, making wellness accessible to more people. His approach focuses on helping patients feel real relief without relying on medications.

Outside the clinic, Dr. T enjoys hiking, weight lifting, watching reality TV, and being a homebody. He’s also a proud dog owner to his Golden Retriever who keeps him active and entertained. One must-have item in his fridge is sparkling water, a simple staple he always keeps on hand.

If he could host the perfect dinner party, Dr. T would invite his best friends, the people who have inspired and supported him through every step of his journey.

Originally from New York, he earned his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and later graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1992. Dr. Jason’s journey into chiropractic care began after experiencing a back injury while working at a desk. After seeking treatment from a chiropractor and seeing firsthand how impactful it was, he was inspired to pursue the profession himself. That personal experience continues to shape his approach today—focused on helping patients feel better, move better, and live healthier lives.

He is passionate about making a difference in his patients’ daily lives and finds the most rewarding part of his work is seeing people experience real relief and improvement. At The Joint Chiropractic, he enjoys being part of a team dedicated to accessible, consistent care and witnessing patients feel better after each visit.
