Born and raised in the Reno/Sparks area. Been in the area most of the time except for Chiropractic College. I'm the Oldest of 6, 2 boys and 4 girls. I loved sports and Drama classes and acting in the school plays.
I got interested in Chiropractic after a work injury and the runaround of the medical wheel. After 2 years of that, my wife finally took me to a Chiropractor, and he encouraged me a lot. So, I started college for all the classes to get into Chiropractic College and went for it. I still love helping people with improving their health through routine Chiropractic care.
I graduated from Palmer-West in December 1985 and was in Private Practice until I retired in 2021. Founding Member Nevada Chiropractic Association, Sec/Tres. Working for The Joint Chiropractic since Mar 2021.
Married to my wife Chris since 1974. Lived in NW Reno for most of the time and now north of Sparks. We have 4 children, 9 grandchildren and now 3 great-grandchildren.
I have been flying Hot Air Balloons for fun and paid rides since 1999. We have a great time traveling with the balloon to other states and cities to 'get high'. Retired Board of Trustees for the Great Reno Balloon Race.
I've been a Music Worship Leader (guitar & vocals) for Christian Churches since 1977. Opened for several local Christian Festivals and services the past 5 years. I have loved playing guitar since I was 16 and get a real joy out of playing Christian music now.
Dr. Edwards grew up and attended high school in Claremont, California. He did his undergraduate work at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he started as an engineering student. Being an athlete, and an outdoor enthusiast, he developed a variety of nagging injuries, for which he finally tried chiropractic. After several adjustments, he quickly realized that he wanted to help others through natural chiropractic care. He found his calling and changed his major to pre-medical biology.
Dr. Edwards graduated from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1993. While there, he received LACC’s Mindlin Distinguished Merit Scholar Award. He has had successful practices in California and New York State, before coming to Reno, where he has had a wonderful practice for 18 years.
Dr. Edwards has helped literally thousands of patients over the years and is still amazed at the great results patients experience through proper chiropractic care.
Dr. David Fowler graduated from the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 2000. He is an adjunct instructor in the Chiropractic Sciences Division at Life University. He has been teaching Chiropractic for more than 10 years. His passion is not just practicing chiropractic for the benefit of his patients, but also teaching it to the next generation to help them to become the best that they can be.
In his spare time, Dr. Fowler enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids. Together, they enjoy ice skating, video games, and watching movies together (especially Star Wars).
