BE WARY OF THESE SCAMMERS Especially when trying to cancel your membership, let alone get a refund. Tried calling to request a refund that i was just charged for, and at first, they told me they couldn't refund the amount! After some back and forth and being put on hold for 8 minutes she told me that she would try to speak to her manager and hung up on me before I could say anything. So i went to the location and asked for the manager who I was told dosnt work at the clinic and was unavailable in person, i was given an email who quite frankly, im not even sure is for the manager. There shouldn't be this much headache and red tape to cancel a mebership, let alone get a refund, and it is by far the worst experience I've had in related matters. Avoid at all costs

This location is the worst one. Because of this I don’t think I will come back to any location. My husband and I were late, we got to this location 10 minutes before they closed. My husband got down to see if they will still accept patients now. The lady at the front said yes.(Keep in mind I have a broken leg, that’s why my husband got down to ask). So I got down, went inside and she told me, well looks like you haven’t been here for awhile we are unable to see you at this time. This was a waste of our time and made me get down for nothing. My husband even asked before getting me down. You can’t say yes then change your mind. They had 10 minutes and I’m usually out in 5 minutes. Very rude. Let me explain coming from working in companies all my life. If someone even walks in 1 minute before closing you can’t turn them away. Looks like someone is shutting down early so they need explaining to do.

Got there before 1400 (2:00) and was asked to leave so they could close for lunch. My visits are usually 3 to 4 minutes if that. Will not visit this one again. Will drive an Xtra 20 min. They should advertise last guest accepted at 1:45. I work nights, your lunch time is my breakfast time. Not happy to wake up with pain and go to get relief and you don't value my time or loyalty. Staff is great but the location by my house is never open paid a full month and haven't been seen once. Could understand if it was once in a while but every month I go during their business hours and there's a sign saying please visit Montano location. Always packed waited for over an hour being bypassed by people walking in after, I cancelled my membership, the next month I still got charged 100 dollars. The day I signed up a elderly man walked in saying the same thing happens to him I should of used that as a red flag. I called and still have yet to hear back. Likely the most offensive and downright wrong experience in modern life is finding out that someone has been stealing from you, particularly if it's a recurring charge that you hadn't noticed for months. Even something minor, like a streaming service that I thought I cancelled, can get me upset, but if it's a hefty healthcare charge, man, does that HURT. I prefaced the conversation with the following: "Look, I'm going to guess that you're simply an employee of this company, you don't decide policy, so if that's the case, please don't take any of this personally, but I'm about to rip on your employer." And then I did. I visited this place five months ago, in the midst of debilitating pain, and I was told I would need to sign up for a two month plan. Sign me up. The visits were great, they fixed me within four weeks, awesome. For the last three months they've been charging my account, even though I haven't visited since September -- and they know this, because their system records every visit. They have a policy where you have to cancel your membership in person, which is additionally sketchy. And to top it all off, I was told that the woman who initially signed me up, way back in August, when I could hardly walk, she was fired. Why? They learned she wasn't correctly informing new patients of company policies. Nice, guys. It's called customer service. I want my money back.

Dr.Marlow is my favorite Joint chiro in ABQ. My first appointment he did a full mobility test before he checked my alignment. I’ve been coming here for years. So disappointed since Dr. Hiring left to Winrck. The new doctor at this location,Dr.Ramirez, didn’t even do an adjustment just percussion. I’ve tried to avoid seeing her as her technique ilhas been aggressive and caused me discomfort. This site was a training site which has been irritating enough. I’ve resorted to driving to 528 or Winrock. The wait time at Montano is l horrible and out of desperation a I went there today and they are closed for the rest of the day. If you were trying to reduce clients at the Montano location you have been successful. I won’t be coming here and I am considering cancelling my membership. As a dental owner and provider the care at this location is sub-par.

My husband and I have been coming to the Montano location for over a year. Dr. Hirning and Dr. Carson are both great!!! However, lately the office has only had one doctor leaving horrible wait times (sometimes an hour, on Friday the 1st it was 45 min) and on June 22nd the office was closed for no reason at 2pm. To top it off Dr. Hirning has been at a different location every time I have gone this month and last. Unfortunately, the service has gone way down with the wait times and doctors not being at the location you expect them to be at. The convenience The Joint was created on is no longer there, which is unfortunate. I would give lower stars if it wasn't for the Dr. Hirning and Dr. Carson as they both a great doctors and truly care about thier patients, before I started seeing Dr. Hirning, my left side would hurt constantly (landing me in ER multiple times), I would get headaches almost everyday, and I was dizzy all the time. By the way, prior to posting this I submitted an email via online regarding my concerns and never heard back. Update: just reduced this to two stars. My husband just drove to the location off of 528 and it was closed!! This is getting absolutely outrageous! He made sure to go in today since the offices are closed on the 4th of July. I am seriously disappointed in The Joint! Went today and found our Dr. Carson is no longer there.

Dr Herrning is the best out of all the others. He listens and helps and works within your limits. Not extra hard on me and tries till he gets it the best he can. Others seem to take offense if you say something doesn't work for me as I am discrediting them. I have gone to a couple of locations. My mom got fractured at a Joint for this type of thinking. Hope the Joint continues to educate these dr's and they can all learn from Dr Herrning. He has a line waiting for him for a reason and I'll wait. Hope the Joint keeps him as they let go of Dr A a long time ago who was one of there best for taking to long with patients.

Very disappointed,when checking my charge card bills. I went in 11-16-2021. Per the sign out front there was a sign stating "a special". Called before going in and was told I could come in because I am at existing patient. I walked in and was treated as a new patient. She said that she would not take me one hour before lunch closed even though there was nobody in the waiting room. I was already in the system and she didn’t even try to look me up she just denied me service and told me to come back later today. Not happy to have driven in so much pain all the way over there after being instructed that I had until 2 PM. The front desk did not want to do her job nor knows how to do their job and also let me know that they are not real physicians and they cannot medically treat people. Dr. Carson is awful. Twice I have been seen by her and twice she has tried to do something I have already stated I did not want. I look young and healthy and so I am sure she thinks I have no idea what I am talking about, but I have been seeing chiropractors regularly since I was 14 due to a rare chronic condition. I know my body and what it can handle and what it can’t. When she asks to use something, I say no, then a few minutes later grabs the thing I have already told her no to, she gets upset when I tell her again that I do not want that used. I shouldn’t have to say that it is my body and my right to say no before she listens! As a female doctor, I would expect so much more from her and I am so disappointed in her lack of caring/listening to her patients.

I have gone to chiropractors for help with my back for a good portion of my adult life. Dr. Marlow by far is the best chiropractor I have ever had the privilege of getting treated by. I came in on a Saturday afternoon when I was in excruciating pain from throwing out my back. Almost to the point we were headed to urgent care, and I could not believe I was able to get seen on a Saturday. I have been seeing Dr Hirning for a few years and he has really helped me with my back pain unfortunately I was told today that I can no longer come in and pay for a single visit that I had to sign up for their monthly membership because I was participating and their membership program before. The front desk told me that I couldn't be seen because I didn't want to sign up for the monthly membership. She seemed to get frustrated and raise her voice little bit with me when I was not understanding why I just couldn't pay for a single visit. I'm very disappointed and now I have to find a new doctor. I was able to get a single visit before without paying the $70 membership, which is a minimum of 2 months. So you're actually paying $140 at the least.

Overall for my first experience with Chiropractic Care, I cannot complain. The staff was professional. The service was good. I had a significant back injury and they docs and staff did their due diligence. The payment options could have been explained better, but again, I was in a lot of pain when I signed up the first time. So, overall definitely my go to for chiropractic care in the area.

This place is just fake retail chiropractic services. They do enough to make you feel good but they don’t actually fix anything and they just make sure they don’t actually break anything either. Makes sense why insurance doesn’t cover it. Even insurance knows is a fake when they see one.

This location is constantly understaffed. The last 3 out of 4 visits I've had to ask why the long wait, then I'm told that 1 of the chiropractors had to go to a different location. Why didn't you tell me that when I arrived? Maybe I should go to another location or a different chiropractor!

Great Quick adjustments without a lot of waiting and questions! Ive been going to chiropractic since i was 17 and know my body well so i just go when i need it and that is usually about bimonthly so it saves me money by buying a package of 6. I sign up for the monthly payment. Two times after giving written notice to cancel they continue to withdraw payments. I have had enough they have lost a customer for life. During my last visit I made sure that I signed the paperwork and I told them this is my last visits? you will not take out from my account right? She said yes we will not take out from your account you have no more visits left. And they still took out another payment. We call the company to talk to them about how we could fix this and they told me to go in four more times, I don't wanna go in four more times because the last time the guy pop my back so hard he hurt my back. I even switch locations because I didn't like it at this location. And BAM the popped my arm and it's still hurts. I don't recommend The Joint.

Dr. Hirning and Dr. Durling are both excellent chiropractors and offer pain relief when needed the most. They are truly specialists at back and neck pain and can give you relief in painful situations such as from car accidents, bad posture, injuries, etc. I recommend them highly to any one who suffers with back, neck and leg pain issues. What a disappointment this location was. After calling this morning to confirm that we could make 1 visit and what the price was my husband and I decided to go. My mother in law has regularly gone to this location and has reccomend it. So it was in our minds a set deal. We knew that they also have a monthly service etc but at this time, at this visit we only needed the one as we both were suffering with different things. There was a possibility that we would of purchased the monthly program for my husband being he has a physically demanding job. But I can assure you that won't be happening now. We went in I needed to take my potty training toddler to the restroom we were planning on going one after the other for our visits. When I came back the front desk lady had a packet for me to fill out and I noticed the little card thing and said we don't have to join correct? This is where it all went down hill. She became very rude saying well most people need two visits, had we ever been to see a chiropractor? I stated yes so I was certain that one trip at this time would do what we needed. She told us if we only wanted one trip we needed to go to a different place. I said we had someone we used but right now this was our option. Primarily because it was going to cost around $180-200 for us both to be seen. I did not tell her the reason I just said so you're telling me you would rather not take our money and we should go else where and she said yes. I left my husband to get his first time adjustment because he needed it the most due to severe pain. I said I would figure out something else for me and walked out to sit in the car with my daughter. If this is the type of customer service that is acceptable to this business then we will not be giving them ours and will never reccomend it to anyone. My husband read the reviews on Google and come to find out this is a common problem with this lady and and others who are at the front desk What a shame.

Can't stress enough how happy I was with my visit, as a business owner I don't have the option of resting and I was extremely worried about not being able to work. I was looking to get my lower back adjusted today. But was told by the guy at the front desk that they aren't "interested" in people looking for a one time deal. He automatically wanted me to sign up for a plan. Which doesn't make sense because how do I know if I will like the place without trying it out. Anyways, I continued to ask if it's possible to get my back adjusted just one time. I was again told that they weren't interested in customers like myself and could be redirected else where. I left in disbelief and would not recommend this place to others. Apparently this place doesn't want my business or good reviews.

I stopped in today to get some relief from my sciatic pain. I was trying to make it past the weekend, but the pain became worse as the day went on. I arrived just before 4 pm and they close at 5 pm. I was told that I wouldn't be able to be seen because I had never been there before and to come back tomorrow. What's the point of staying open until 5, only to turn customer's away an hour before closing? There wasn't anyone else waiting to be seen. I had read and heard some good reviews and was hoping to be writing a totally opposite review than I am now! I won't be returning either.

Dr. Herning saved me when I had a total lower-back blowout. I was in so much pain that I couldn't even walk straight or put on my shoes! I discovered The Joint 16 months ago when I was having a problem with my right arm going numb. At the time, I hadn't seen a DC in several years. I signed up for the monthy plan and went for treatment weekly for several months and had good results while going. As I live about 80 miles away and my work hours had increased , I slacked off and quit going after 2 or 3 months. I recently started going again after experiencing pain in my lower back and right leg tiring easily and going numb while standing or walking. I also have a torn meniscus cartilage in my left knee that sometimes, like now, causes a slight limp in my left leg which can lead to other painful symptoms. I am signed up for the monthly plan again and did 3 visits last week, my first week. This time I am seeing Doctor Hirning. So far, I have had steady improvement after every visit. For just 3 visits, I consider myself as significantly improved. Each treatment and adjustment lasts only a few minutes but Dr. Hirning takes the time to make sure all of my aches and pains are addressed and any questions I have are answered to my satisfaction.. Dr Hirning is very careful, very thorough, and has given me great results in a short period of time. He is also very friendly, courteous and considerate. I just could not be more pleased than I am with Dr Hirnings care. In all, I am very pleased with the care I get from The Joint. The ladies, which ever one may be there at the reception desk, all of them are always pleasant, friendly and helpful. They have several plans to choose from including no plan at all, just pay $39 per visit whenever you want to go. I am on the monthly Wellness plan. For $60 per month, I can go 4 times in a month. I can also go more than 4 times for an additional $10 for each visit over four in one month. At 62 years of age, I get a lot of benefit out of going 4 times per month. All of the options are very reasonably priced and I have never been pressured by anyone trying to sell me on one plan or another. All of the plans, including the no plan pay as you go, sell themselves - all very reasonable and very affordable. I have never written a review for The Joint before and my review is based only on my very favorable experiences at the 6001 Winter Haven Rd NW Suite H in Albuquerque location as that is the only The Joint location I have visited so far. I also want to express that I consider the great care and treatment I have received from Dr Hirning as the reason I have had exceptionally positive and speedy results. I highly recommend Dr James Hirning at The Joint on Winter Haven Road in Albuquerque for any and all Chiropractic needs.

I have not actually been there but I felt the need to write a review. I have ALOT of problems going on right now so I called a few Chriopractors to see if they could help me. Everyone hung up or wanted to charge me to come in and have a conseltation visit to see if they could even help me. The Joint, when I called the secretary listened and passed me over to a Doctor in the office. He waited while I explained all of my problems, my sternum popping, my collar bone slipping, my back pain for the past 3 days and so much more, he reccomened me to another office who could find the problem and fix me up. He gave me suggestions as to what was wrong and really helped me to the best of his over the phone abilities.

I have the same complaint as last review! I went to the office THEJOINT @ MONTANO and the front desk girl Amanda was extremely rude . The chiropractors were very good and nice but she was "Terrible" with capital "T". I give zero in customer service. She spoke to me like I was a piece of GARBAGE! This girl have no customer service manners. The chiropractor services were very good but when you are treated this way...hummm no no no. Doctors were nice and smiling but she was very unhappy about her job. Actually, I really like the chiropractor services and they are excellent in prices besides this big customer service issue.

Customer service and pricing was amazing, but I did not go there for customer service or price. I went because I had a disk in my back pop out of place while playing with my two year old. Yes I know the problem because it happens often enough to me that I know what a slipped disk feels like. They did try to fix the problem but I did not feel as they knew what they were doing for this problem. If you slept wrong they could probably fix the issue. But when you have something more severe like a slipped disk I suggest going somewhere else with someone who truly knows what they are doing!

Good alignment, good customer service, AWESOME for the price. They have a monthly plan for people that need weekly alignments. Saw Dr. Schnapp, Sandy was at the front desk and very helpful.
