I've never been adjusted before but I suffer with like lower back/ tailbone pain while sitting or standing Daily chronic neck, shoulder and back pain. After just one session I can honestly say I feel less tense like my muscles aren't constantly being stretched or worked out. Standing up after my adjustment I still feel some pain in my tailbone but I immediately felt lighter and I could take deeper breaths without feeling pain or stretching in my back. Got some at home stretches and low intensity workouts recommended to keep myself aligned. Great people however their new patients should be priority. I came in right at opening time and as a new patient, I was told to wait while the receptionist checked in two patients that came in after me. Dr Marks was very helpful and took care of my back issues. He took time to hear me out rather then tell me what he thought the problem was. If I could leave a 0 star review I would! I don’t normally leave negative reviews for places but I definitely would not recommend you waste your time with this place. The level of unprofessionalism and disorganization is ridiculous. I go to this place yesterday (WITH A SCHEDULED NEW PATIENT APPOINTMENT). I get there to check in and they tell me they can’t see me because they took too many new patient walk ins that day. As a place of business wouldn't you have the common sense to only see a certain number of walk ins so you can keep the appointments you have scheduled?? Anyways so I don’t say anything and I allow them to reschedule my appointment to the following day. They gave me all the new patient paperwork to fill out and bring back the following mornings. Only to come in this morning (as directed and rescheduled by THEM) and be told AGAIN for a second time that I can’t be seen because they only have one doctor available and aren’t doing new patient appointments and then have the audacity to talk to me rudely. It’s ridiculous how disorganized they are. As a mom who has to organize childcare for my children to take this time and for them to waste my time, gas and energy not only once but twice is crazy to me and honestly I’m so frustrated with the whole ordeal.

I’m so tired of this place being unreliable. They randomly throw up a white sheet saying they’re closed. The app & google say it’s opened & you go there & they’re closed or close early. They have great doctors but poor reliability & consistency. You pay monthly but they don’t comp you for the time they aren’t there. It’s frustrating. I’ve expressed concern but it falls on deaf ears.

De Pogue was amazing. Threw my back making my bed and she fixed me right up. I went in not being able to walk upright, and left shuffling, but much more functional. Everything felt different and I enrolled in their wellness plan right away. Don’t let the chain store or walk in nature of the business fool you. First off this was my very first adjustment ever, I had always been curious and rather intrigued after seeing YouTube videos/shorts, I was having lunch at a nearby restaurant and when I was walking out I saw the office and then the new patient offer they had in place. So I stopped in and was greeted warmly and got a very thorough introduction to the process and methods of treatment. I was seen fairly quickly and let me just say it was beyond what I expected. Staff is great at what they do keep up the good work!!

I’ve been struggling to get in ever since the Holly location dropped Monday and Tuesday hours. Today I was able to make it over to the Winrock location and it was their lunch hour, fair enough. The issue I have however, is the treatment from the lady at the front, Jennifer, I believe. The lady in front of me was having trouble with her as well. She was incredibly unwelcoming and inconvenienced. She huffed and snapped and lost her temper multiple times throughout the encounter. Ultimately this made my decision to cancel my membership. I don’t appreciate being spoken to or treated in such a poor manner. I have attempted to reach out to management, unsuccessfully thus far.

I try hard not to leave negative reviews. But I’m trying to maybe help someone out there. Chiropractor was Okay. It’s a quick 2 minute pop/fix. I went in because I saw a $50 coupon online. Somehow they said I needed more visits so I ended up signing on for 1 month. It’s ALL ELECTRONIC, you don’t get the paperwork. I ended up paying $108 alone that day. I called to cancel so I wasn’t charged for the coming month. They said when I signed in I did it for 2 months. So they have to bill me again for another $79 this coming month. Just be aware you will pay for more than you are expecting. Careful when signing up for this “contracts”

I had tweeked my lower back and was dealing with a moderate amount of pain. I saw the joint chiropractic online offering a special to me patients for like $25, so I stopped in. I had to fill out a relatively quick questionnaire and was seen and adjusted in less than 30 minutes. I then signed up for a plan with them paying $80 a month for 2 month min where I now go once a week. My pain is gone after the first visit, and my posture is now noticeably better. The best time to go is when they first open at 10 am at this location. However, there are multiple locations all under the same ownership, and I've been informed that some of their other locations are far less busy.

I have been in pain since 9 Dec 24. My husband and I are retired and we have been traveling around. I went to a chiropractor in California and they were not able to fix my issues. I woke up this morning (16 Feb 25) with excruciating pain. I decided I needed to find a chiropractor in Albuquerque. Thank goodness there was an opening today. I was greeted by Alize…professional and friendly. As I filled out my new patient forms, I witnessed her kindness with every single person walking through their doors. I was seen by Dr. Meek. She took her time to ask me about my pain and also about other parts of my body. She did a thorough review and then…skillfully put my body back in place. She makes you feel comfortable and has a sense of humor that makes you laugh. I walked out of there feeling great and purchased 20 more sessions. As we travel around the states, I can get my adjustments at other locations. I am so happy with the results and this is the first time since Dec, that the dull and aching pain from my neck to my elbow to my hands, have subsided. I’m beyond happy! Thank you!

I walked in after their lunch break and was the second person to enter the door. They gave me some paper to fill out and when I was done they told me it was going to be 35 to 45 minutes until I could be seen. All of the 10-15 people who walked in after me were put in line before me. I then said I did not have that much time to wait and asked that they delete my information from all the paperwork I filled out since I wasn’t going to be seen and was not going to be a patient there. They said they could not. Highly disappointed considering I was there to buy a package for myself and another for my husband. They easily missed out on 600 dollars.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My mother went to the Joint in hopes of helping with her back pain that can put her out for days at a time. She's tried everything and this was her last option. She was scheduled with Dr. Chihuahua back in April. She stated on her paperwork that she had Osteoporosis and the doctor did not go over her paperwork at all and just went right into the appointment to adjust her. He broke 3 of her ribs! She was in immense pain and had to be taken to the hospital in an ambulance because she could not get out of bed. It's now Late September and her back pain is no better and her ribs still hurt her. She is having to retire from her job early because of this. The Joint has not responded back to our numerous complaints since this happened. DO NOT GO HERE.

I booked my appointment and didn’t receive any sort of follow up or papers to fill out. I spent $15 on a ride here only to be turned away because I’ve recently been in a car accident and didn’t have paperwork with me clearing me of injuries. If I’d received any sort of notice that I’d need to bring that sort of thing I could have done that instead of wasting $30 on a ride to the appointment and back.

I’m looking forward to canceling my $79 dollar membership… the one you purchase and if you don’t use you lose. I’ll be sure to take care of my cancellation ,pronto, as I honestly agree with most of these reviews that complain of getting you in and getting you out as fast as possible. My first appointment that I had when I signed up , was Dr. T. , and he was professional and took his time , he was calm and conveyed that he cared. He was engaging and respectful. Then I came back a few days later and the doctor I got this time… she was rushed, she made me feel like I was on an assembly line, get me in get me out! I think they think that if they’re popping or cracking your neck that they’ve done there job. I needed more that second appointment. Then a few days later I was up in Lubbock, Tx and came upon another location there and I received the same “Get em in get em out” treatment. I think that appointment in particular took 60 seconds tops. Boo!? I’m going to use what visits I paid for and I will be certain to cancel anything they might try to reoccur. My husband as well. He will finish his and we will be sure to be canceling what he’s got going on as well. Do better, be better!

I have been coming to the Joint Chiropractic in Albuquerque, NM for over 3 years. I followed Dr. Meek a couple of times when she was relocated to different Joint locations. I did this because I found that her chiropractic knowledge and skill provided the physical adjustments I needed to keep me out of pain. I have been going to chiropractors on a regular basis for years...from New York to Los Angeles before coming back to Albuquerque. Honestly, Dr. Meek is the best chiropractor I have ever had. Made an appointment for 630 on Monday evening and was having issues finding the location. Was late so rescheduled for the following evening for 630 showed up to the location and they were closed even though it says they’re open until 7. Front desk staff was very rude and unwilling to want to work or assist me when I callled trying to find the location. I made it clear to the front desk receptionist I don’t get off work until 6pm and I flew across town to make my appointment. Nobody even had the consideration to call and cancel or to say they were closing early.. as a business owner I don’t understand how you operate a business like that completely unprofessional.

Hardly ever open! I use this one as I work close to it! I have back pain all the time and this is the only type of chiropractor I can afford to visit, yet I never get my 4 visits a month as they are closed or way too busy. I will be canceling my subscription with you guys as you don’t give the services you offer most of the time! Today I came on my lunch break at 1:30, all lights are off and door locked! No sign to say they are closed for the day or gone on lunch early! This happens way too often with no reasoning to it! What do I pay $79 a month for?

If you're looking for quality chiropractic care, look elsewhere. The moment you step into this place, everything is fast-paced, like they work to get you in and out and deliver subpar work on you. My second visit was fast, suspiciously too fast and it wasn't the same "doctor" I saw on my first visit. This lady, I'm assuming a lady, was very rude and didn't even take a second to greet me, I was greeted with "Why are you waiting 4 months for an adjustment?" Which I translated to "Why are you not on one of our rip-off monthly plans?" Then she proceeded to "adjust" me after scanning my patient file for no more than 20 seconds. I tried to explain areas I needed work and where I had pain, but it felt like it fell on deaf ears. She cracked my back, then my neck and threw her body weight on my sides, which I did not hear or feel anything crack and that was my visit. I was then advised just "drink your water and do your stretches." I know a good scam when I see one, other Chiropractic offices take their time to examine you, your body movements, and adjust accordingly.. these guys just give you a simple back crack and out the door you go. I'm never going back, in fact I'll be searching for better chiropractic care elsewhere. Now copy and paste your repetitive "caring" message here Joint Chiropractic:

If I could give ZERO stars I would. The only reason I walked in this place is because it’s close to my work. It’s the last time I will use a place for convenience. This place debited over $1000 from my husband and I WITHOUT sending us receipts. We moved, and didn’t remember they were on auto debit on my husband’s HSA and now they “claim” we are not eligible for a refund! They claim we were explained this when we signed up. When we signed up we were given a tablet and told to sit down and fill out the questions. NOBODY explained anything to us! The girl that signed us as barely spoke to us! This place is a joke! They are all about taking your money and giving u subpar service. Trust me when I say, care more is a far better practice than this one! They are snakes! Out to steal your money, and not give it back. I have contacted the better business bureau and will be taking every avenue necessary to get my money back! Don’t go here! Unless you want your money stolen and then told there’s nothing u can do about it. “The office manager doesn’t honor refunds” …..pathetic waste of a chiropractor. Not even worth the $59 you spend there! …..avoid this place at all costs.

These "plans" they set you on is continuous unless you cancel. I can't stand when people aren't clear , they just want your money. I've been on a plan for the past few months and I can't even reuse those visits and they refuse to give me a refund. The chiropractor wasn't even doing a good job on me. This place is scary. Over the summer months, there was rarely a time when I would see the same chiropractor twice; I think they were short staffed and were having several staff turnovers. The doctors were rough and trying to get people in and out so quickly it felt almost dangerous. One doctor told me he was seeing around 70-80 patients per day.

Terrible, terrible, terrible. The Chiropractor I saw yanked on my arm so hard I started sweating from the pain. They also auto renewed my account without my permission, and the Joint Chiropractic on Louisiana will not cancel my account unless I go in personally to sign a release form. These companies that have these hidden policies and require a subscription are stealing from us. I plan to file a case with small claims court, the BBB, or whomever.

Really frustrating experience. Be prepared to wait / not see a chiropractor at all some days. My first couple weeks of service were great but recently wait times have gotten very long. I was turned away twice due to wait times being too long, and then the next time when they did say someone could see me that day, I waited about an hour and 45 minutes til right before close. I figure it’s staffing issues at that particular location (seem to only have one chiropractor in at a time) so I went to another location on Paseo which was further out of my way and … it was locked up during business hours with no explanation. Since the package has a two month minimum I’m bummed I am about to have to deal with another month of the hassle before I finally get to cancel.

The former doctor here was great, but the new one is terrible. I saw her 3 times and she was unable to provide any pain relief. She also tried to blame me for that, saying my joints are too stiff because I don't exercise enough. I found this rude and judgemental, as she knows absolutely nothing about me or my exercise routine. I had already been considering canceling my membership but her judgement sealed the deal - I will never be comfortable going back here. To top it off, I called to cancel and was told I can't do that over the phone, which I was not informed of when I signed up.

Dr. Livingston at the Louisiana ‘The Joint Chiropractic’ location has been a fantastic chiropractor for my wife and I. Because she is more petite, she has to use more techniques rather than just brute force to make adjustments. She has done wonders with getting a lot more mobility and pain reduction out my neck and back. Since both areas have arthritis (especially my neck) from ranching and 30+ years in the military, it has been a fantastic relief. I have used chiropractors for over 40 years and she is the most creative and effective provider I have ever found.

My experience with The Joint is both good and bad. Good because I felt better after each of my visits. Bad because I didn't feel like the Dr's took the time to know what was going on with me. They have their routine and do the same on each client. Because of this I called to cancel my membership. I was told I had to keep it for 2 months and it would be canceled after the 2nd month. I was not told I had to sign a cancelation form. I assumed I was being told the truth and come to find out 2 months later I am out $158. So if you plan to cancel make sure you do it 2 days before the day they charge you or you will be in it for another month. NO REFUNDS.

this was my very first time seeing a chiropractor. I was very nervous, I usually tense up at the idea of seeing a chiropractor, the sounds of the table intimidate me. I’ve suffered from sciatica for 21 years but recently started having really bad vertigo and the pressure on my neck was too painful to tolerate any longer. I was desperate. I came in on a Saturday at around 2 pm, filled out some lengthy but important paperwork. I saw 3 people come in and out for treatment as I finished my information. I was a bit nervous that I wasn’t going to get a good service because theirs was so fast. Dr. Maleki called me back, reviewed my paperwork and heard my complaints. He explained the entire functions of each and every concern I had. He spent about 15-20 minutes going over all my concerns and making sure I understood what was causing my issues and also making sure I understood the terminology he was using. He gave me a thorough exam before he began the adjustments. I was a bit tense in the beginning but he really did make me feel comfortable and calm. I felt a million times better after the adjustment and signed up for the follow ups. By the time I left (I had been there for over 45 minutes) I really felt like I was undercharged. It was such a wonderful and thorough treatment for an amazing price. I’m so bummed that I waited this long to get seen.

Dr. Dustin was very informative patient and excellent at adjusting. He was thorough and I’m so grateful to have had this quick adjustment as an option. I’ve gone to at least 6 chiropractors throughout the years and my main chiropractor just retired so I had starting seeing one in Rio Rancho who is good but very far and WAY more expensive. As a nurse I strongly suggest you stay clear of this business! Unsanitary, and horrible customer service! I went in to cancel my plan October 2022. They convinced me to put my account on a freeze where I would not be charged for 3 months, I agreed and signed the freeze contract in person at this location. They still charged me for the last 2 months. I called to request a refund and they are claiming my account was never put on a freeze and had no proof of any contract signed. The woman who answered was argumentative and kept telling me to "listen" and then still asked if I would like to put my account on a freeze for an additional 3 months. Why would I do that when they continue to charge you and claim there is no proof. Such a scam! Horrible customer service, would not recommend to my worst enemy. Additionally, my first visit to the east side location the chiropractor wore leather gloves and I broke out in a horrible painful rash and could not go in again the entire month I paid for.

I would like to first say, that it’s not common for me to leave reviews. However in some occasions I feel it’s necessary not only for the public, but for management to look into the issue and make it right with the customer as well. I heard about your business through a friend. I have very bad neck issues. So I called and there was no answer, with the option to leave a voicemail, so I did. I requested a callback as I was interested in receiving their service and had questions. I waited about a week and no one called me back. I called a second time, same thing, except it did state we could text the office if we preferred. So I left another voicemail and I sent a text as well. Waited another week… nothing. I decide to call a different location and a lady answered the phone stating you accept walk ins and confirmed the hours you are open. I was planning on going to the Wyoming location so verified it would be open that day and she stated they would be open. The next day, my mother requests to leave work early so she can join me and we drive 45 min to the Wyoming location and arrived at exactly 5 p.m and it was closed. I called and there was no message saying they would be closing that day nor a note on the door, nothing. We waited and throughout that time, we saw 4 different patients arrive for treatment and also upset for the inconvenience. We drive back home, already wasted more than two hours and gas. I decide to go to the Winrock location the following day. The front desk lady explains briefly the plans you have and stated that I would receive 3 additional visits for free if I went with the 7 visits. After completing the paperwork and paying, I go to the back and explain to the Chiropractor that I have neck problems that is controlling my life and I need adjustments. I also explained I was seeing a physical therapist for my neck as well and he stated that we would ease into it so I wouldn’t be sore. I requested he didn’t ease into it because I already saw my physical therapist and did my own stretches and neck exercises at home, that I needed something more intense. He tells me to lay down and he starts with this gun looking machine that taps your spine and he went up and down my spine twice for a total of 4 minutes and he said he was done. I was so confused, BUT thought next visit will be better, then he stated that the next visit we would do more. I show up again and they are closed on a Monday without any notice! Another trip that was a waste of time and gas. Went again again and again aand he does the exact same thing for a total of 7 minutes, then tells me I’m done. Confused and dreading I wasted my money, however still decide to continue to show up, hoping things would get better but it truly hasn’t. The most he’s done is that gun machine (which I have my own at home) and stretched me out very briefly and lightly, (something I do myself daily) and one time he did make my back pop lightly and brief, one time out of like 6 visits now. I go to the front and ask the lady how long the visits are and replied with “ it can be anywhere from 8 to 10 min” something she definitely forgot to mention when explaining the plans. At this point, i don’t want to show up for my remaining sessions including the free ones. I feel like it’s a waste of time, a huge waste of gas to head over there again. For what? The Chiropractor is nice, but he hasn’t helped one bit, he’s done things I already do at home for free and I explained that to him. Regardless, being seen for only 7 minutes and be treated With things I already do at home isn’t what I came here for, its absolutely not what I wanted, needed, nor expected. I came for adjustments, for stuff I can’t do on my own, I came for professional help and I have yet to receive ONE adjustment. I would very much like to speak to someone about a refund. I’m so disappointed with the “treatment” I received, I feel like this whole experience with this company was a fail from the start. I hope management is professional and I can count on them to reach out to me with a solution. Thanks

This is a hit or miss. Some doctors are great, others very meh. Lately they seem to have had a staffing problem, last week there was noone in the reception, just one chiropractor who did everything, today they are supposed to be open but they are closed with no info. Very unreliable.

I wish this would hire more chiropractors at every location. Gets a little bit ridiculous that I constantly have to wait 45-50 minutes to be seen. I have been to this location before and of the Joint Chiropractic in town, they are the most helpful. That being said, I went in at 4:10 on a Saturday (closing time is 5). Both chiropractors were sitting in the front lobby and visiting, which I understand since there were no other customers at all. It had been a while since I had been so I was in need of filling out new paperwork and a new exam, or so I was told. However, when the front desk went to consult the provider (who had gone back after I walked in) to see if she would have enough time since closing time was in 50 minutes I was informed they would not have enough time to see me since they closed at five. However, when asking how much time I would have to plan on to complete another visit, I was told only 45 minutes....being that I arrived 50 minutes to closing I feel like something doesn't quite add up. Thinking that perhaps, although it seemed like a nice option, the Joint just isn't worth the effort and price for the service received. Very disappointed.

I like the new location and the Chiropractor there. Seems most every time I need an adjustment this Louisiana location is closed. Tues, Wed and Thursday this week alone. Closed. Too far for me to go to other locations.

Website states that they are currently open until 5 pm. I arrived at 1255 pm to find a note on the door that states this location is closed today. There always seems to be difficulty getting adjusted at any location in Albuquerque. The other excuse is that they're always short on doctors...

Walked in and not busy as I was told over the phone that they are SO BUSY on Saturdays to expect a long wait. The service from the front desk was awful when I went in to take advantage of the opening promotion, the lady made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcomed. I was expecting to take advantage of their new client initial free exam, consultation and adjustment. The lady conveyed to me that the appointment may or may not include the adjustment only after the doctor declared you needed treatment. I called another location and the lady was super nice and made it seem like I would get in and get the wanted adjustment as well as doctors recommendations on treatment and am not obligated to enroll into the treatment plan. I do not recommend this location for service.

Loved Dr. Marlow! Gentle and very effective (although he said it’s the first time he’s heard someone say he’s gentle ?). Would definitely recommend!
