To THE JOINT CHIROPRACTIC, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding the 10-session chiropractic plan I purchased for my wife. We initially signed up for these sessions with the expectation that they would help with her back problem. However, after the first session, we consulted a medical doctor who informed us that chiropractic treatment was not suitable for her condition, as it involved a disc issue that required a different form of treatment with medication. When I attempted to cancel the plan, I was informed that the sessions were non-transferable and could only be used by my wife. Despite this, I requested the cancellation in March when I noticed another charge. Since then, I have repeatedly tried to resolve this matter, but despite numerous attempts and requests for cancellation, the charges continued. Today, my wife went to the location in person and was told that the cancellation had not been processed because a physical signature was required. This is something that could have easily been handled online or via email, as most companies do nowadays. Given the distance to the location and the time involved, I find this situation unacceptable and unfair, especially since we have not used the service at all. I therefore request the immediate cancellation of the plan, a full refund of all charges made since March, and a formal confirmation that the contract has been terminated. I can’t even get in to see anyone anymore. I am a long time monthly member and the last 4 times I went there, I walked out 3 times due to either packed waiting rooms or doctors calling out. Someone needs to learn how to staff this location appropriately. I think I have seen someone once in the last two months. I may as well throw my money out the car window on my way there. I would save myself some time and grief. I am very close to ending my family’s membership. And I can’t even talk to a manager because I was told that he is at some kind of conference and apparently they don’t have a backup. This place has really gone down hill. It used to be good.

I went over there me and my fiancé and my cousin we spent than 2 hrs waiting and this doctor decided to take all this white people before when we were first in line. I don’t know his name but he’s a tall white man he got a tattoo on his right hand. Because we were only 3 black people inside he make us feel it was all about color because we black we can wait for him to take everyone. As an old member I can say if you’re a black person don’t go to this address for help. He thought I was this kind of black person when he started disrespecting I was going to start acting crazy but I know how this kind of person think ! Seriously good idea (membership) for a minor back problems! While regular visits take hardly any time, intake visit was very thorough and took about an hour. The chiropractor was very knowledgeable and caring and even on a first visit provided a great deal of a relief. Having a membership /subscription is an awesome deal,especially because they are open on weekends and till 7pm most days.

The joint at Mallard Creek is good. Too much doctor rotation during some weeks. The overall wellness plans are not conducive for families. Each member has to buy a plan and the appointments are not sharable. It becomes cost prohibitive if you have more than one person in a household. I've been to many locations for the joint chiropractor. But this one was not good at all. I explained to him where my pain was to do the right adjustment but it didn't take him more than 2 minutes and said have a nice day. No feedback, not even a good adjustment. Never going to be back to this location.

I moved here from Snellville ga and I’ve been using the joint services for months now and I’ve always had a great experience. This location is Close to my new home in the university area in Charlotte. My first time walking into this location was a unwelcoming experience. The front desk receptionist was rude and made me and my husband feel unwelcome. I didn’t expect this from this location because I feel that I live in a nice community. I have since found a new location, I do have to drive further but it’s worth the drive for a peaceful and welcoming experience.

This place is seriously amazing. Kristina at the front desk is wonderful, the DC’s are amazing. I’m always apprehensive of Chiropractic offices and as I’ve worked for some that are very questionable. But I can’t say enough nice things. They care about your time, your in and out even as a new patient in 20 minutes. The waiting room is always full but no one has to wait a long time. I have a membership here and I’ve been coming for about 4 months. And everyone is always nice and I feel like it help but I’m a truck driver and I’ll keep coming here as long as I drive Update**** Please if you have a area that is in pain do NOT COME!! Go to a place that will take X-rays. This place is really just to losing you up,but you’ll be in pain again! I’ve been going to dillon chiropractor. I had really bad neck and lower back pain and had been coming here for over a year with no improvement. After a month with DR.Syd I have gotten 50% better with going once a week. I've been in pain for several years. With time it kept getting worse and worse. I had laid on my couch the other night and couldn't get up without crying. Well I walked in Tuesday and met with Dr. Vang. He adjusted my back, shoulders, hips, and afterwards I felt absolutely amazing. The next day I was pain free for the first time in a long time. Although they did a great job adjusting my back; upon initial visit and consultation, i asked if there would be a reoccurring charge on my card at which the receptionist stated no it's pay as you go. I first came to “The Joint” about three years ago at the recommendation of my long-time massage therapist. As a 60-something year old, I suffered from chronic back pain, possibly a result of all the yard work I regularly perform: push mowing and bagging grass; planting trees and shrubs on our property; moving and climbing ladders to prune older trees; loading, unloading, carrying, and spreading heavy bags of wet mulch; and bagging fall leaves and other yard waste. I would awaken every morning with pain in my left shoulder and lower back. The week of my initial visit and treatment, the doctor had me return later in the week to continue treatment. To me it seemed like a small miracle that after only 4 or 5 treatments at The Joint, my chronic morning back pain and stiffness were gone. I don’t know exactly what procedures really helped ease my pain, but weekly stretching of my hamstrings by The Joint chiropractors seemed to greatly relieve, and continue to relieve, my lower back pain along my belt line. I truly believe in the talented chiropractors at my nearby Joint office, on East Arbors Drive, who first always ask me if and where I hurt and then listen intently BEFORE treating me on their chiropractic bench. These female and male chiropractors are extremely professional and are so friendly that they make you feel comfortable with every visit. Thank you all so very much!!! Living in chronic pain makes my need for chiropractic care necessary. I’ve been in and out of countless offices over the past years, and never returned to any of them. I walked into The Joint on a whim and was greeted by a very friendly receptionist. I completed all of my paperwork just to go through the motions. I was introduced to Dr Vang and he asked a series of questions to figure out my issues and high pain areas. I walked in with a headache, joint & muscle pain, and I didn’t need to be asked twice to join a monthly plan because the instant relief (plus I paid less for a monthly plan then i ever did a single visit anywhere). I am sure the other Doctors are great but Dr Vang is AMAZING! He’s always friendly, and doesn’t rush to get through my numerous adjustments. He literally changed my mind about chiropractors. Thank you Dr Vang for helping me keep my pain under control.

Dr. Hickman & Dr. Vang are awesome. They have provided excellent care and guidance on my treatment inside and outside of the office. Every time I walk in, I feel like I am going to visit a friend, everyone is very friendly. I've never waited more than 15 minutes (most times it's a 5 minute wait or less).

One star is too much for this place. It should get zero star. MY experience is very bad. My pain/numbness got increased 10 times after visiting this place. Dr Yang did all things to damage all of my nerves and muscle. And when I wanted to cancel my rest of the session. He did not returned any money back to me. So greedy person. I had a pinched nerve problem. Having pain from neck through left arms, tingling and pain on my left elbow forearms and numbness in left thumb. But this pain was on selected places on my left arm only not in the entire left arm. But the pain was severe. Couldn’t sleep in the night. I visited "The Joint" and conveyed my full problem to Dr Yang. He asked me to lay down on the bench. And then he pressed at various points on my neck. Stretched my neck at various angles. After this first session a new pain got generated on my left shoulder. My old pain was not gone. He asked me to come after 1 week. Then I went after 1 week and told him that my pain is increased. Then he pressed at some different points in my neck, upper back and lower back. Stretched/pulled/pressed my neck again from various angles. Now after getting up from the bench, my full entire neck and back got stiff. Now I got new severe pain points in my neck, left arm and shoulder blades. My condition became very severe, I thought it was worst decision of my life to come to this place. Dr Yang asked me to do some stretching exercise (but in 1st session he asked me to not do any stretching exercise as my nerve is not well. But now he turned back from his words). Then I came out from the clinic. My body was full of pain even I was not able drive my car back to my home. Then I listened my own body I stopped the use of my left arm completely , even for typing I use my right hand only. Use ice and heat pack appropriately to my pain points wherever my body was giving me healing signal. I started eating more nutritious diet. By this way in just 3-4 days my original pain came down by 90%. But the new pain points that Dr Yang gave me was not coming down. Its was still severe pain not able to sleep in night even. I got numbness also in my entire left arm if I tilt my head backwards. I don’t know what nerve Dr Yang has damaged. But my initial points where the pain was there is almost gone. Now the new pain that Dr Yang gave is only remained and not going off so easily. Then I visited Dr Yang again and said that I don’t want any further sessions as I am getting pain in new places. Then he asked me to talk to his receptionist. Then receptionist talked to Dr Yang privately and told me that This is also counted as one of your session and you can not get back your rest of the $ amounts. Then I said I took only 2 session from Dr Yang and rest 2 are remained. She said as per the policy the rest of the amount can not be returned. Really "The Joint" is not a healer. This is pain giver and greedy set of people. I asked other patients, none of them got healed and few of them are regular customer for many months with no relief at all. Poor people. :( My Suggestion is don’t waste your money here and don’t get your precious body damaged here. Give proper rest to your effected body part, Use Ice/heat packs, Take nutritious diet. I am sure you will be at least 60% healed. Even if you want to go to some chiropractor then go to some good place not this one. While writing this review I am now 70% healed. My original pain has gone 100%. New pain given by Dr Yang is still in my body 30%. It is also going slowly slowy.

During the first year of my membership, this office experienced quite a bit of turnover. However, since the first year, Gabriella and Dr. Vang have worked together to make each visit amazing. Wow! What a great experience I have had at The Joint and especially with Dr. Laura Peterson! After dealing with a very painful neck issue for 5 months, I decided to give something different a try, rather than the meds and procedures I had been doing. I was nervous, having never been to a chiropractor before, but Dr. Peterson really took the time to explain the whole process. With the first adjustment, it has made a HUGE difference. I was able to sleep, soundly, in my bed for the first time in months. As we have continued to work together, I am feeling better than I have in years. I will not have my family return to this facility. I heard a lot of great reviews and was recommended by a Friend, to this place, but the customer service was poor. The receptionist was very courteous and considerate, but the Doctor on the other hand was inconsiderate, rude and obnoxious, which honestly, I do not think he was trying to be, but unfortunately he was. If this business only takes walk ins, he should not have continually taken customers, whom arrived AFTER we finished our paperwork, BEFORE us. And along with making us aware of putting a customer before us, he would also make a comment that he thought was funny, such as "I'll take this customer before you because I will be with your family ALL night" that just made matters worst. And we he finally begin to see my Husband, he would stop to take MORE customers (at least 4!), by this time, we left. We were waiting on my sons, whom are the ages of 2 and 3 to be seen, but this was ridiculous! And what tops it....The next day, I called another facility to have our paperwork transferred, since we have decided not to return to the E. Arbors location and they were told (by E. Arbors) that they did not have our paperwork on file! That's IT! I will not return here, unless there is a Doctor that can convince me to do so.

I've been to a few locations in other states which I'm usually pleased with but when visiting family here I tried this location. The doctor here was so patient and really seemed to listen to what my body needed. Best adjustment I've ever had! Wish I lived here so I could go to him exclusively.
