Meet The Doctors

Dr. Sean Hickman, D.C. is a Chiropractor at ParkTowne Village

Since Dr. Sean Hickman was a child he has always wanted to help others. He had an interest in many different careers that focus on the body. He started his journey as a massage therapist in Charleston, SC. While working for a chiropractic clinic he began to feel the call to be a Chiropractor and it has since changed his life. He knows the body a gift that we are given and he works with patients to empower them to see the potential they have. His knowledge of the body allows him to look at the body as a whole to ensure the best care for each patient.

This passion for chiropractic has transitioned into the care he gives each individual patient, taking the time to meet each individual patient’s needs. Dr. Hickman has adjusted patients from the age of hours old to 90. He is also certified in the Webster Technique which is a chiropractic technique that focuses on pregnant moms. Through his education and training he has been able to cater chiropractic to each patient’s individual needs.

Dr. Hickman is a 2017 graduate of Sherman College of Chiropractic in Spartanburg, SC, a school that focuses on the subluxation based model of chiropractic care.

When Dr. Hickman is not in the office he spends time with his wife Dr. Jennifer Hickman whom he met in chiropractic school and their fur-puppy Reggie. He enjoys the outdoors, reading, volunteering in the community and most importantly spending time at church.

Dr. Jennifer Hickman, D.C. is a Chiropractor at ParkTowne Village

Dr. Jennifer Hickman is a true southern gem. She is a native of North Carolina and is very happy to be in her home state serving others through her knowledge of chiropractic care and a holistic lifestyle. She is a 2014 graduate of Sherman College of Chiropractic and a 2007 magna cum laude graduate of Limestone College- Go Saints!


Dr. Hickman has a particular passion for chiropractic care for children and pregnant moms. She is certified in the Webster Technique which is utilized throughout pregnancy and is working towards her diplomat in pediatrics.


Outside of the office, Dr. Hickman spends her time with her husband Dr. Sean Hickman and their fur-babies. They are members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and are very involved in Church activities.  She also enjoys learning, reading, outdoors, serving others, and her newest hobby is home canning.

Dr. Mark Pellegrini, D.C. is a Chiropractor at ParkTowne Village

Dr. Mark Pellegrini became acquainted with chiropractic care when, as a competitive powerlifter, he went from an injury while playing softball where he could not fully straighten up to stand, to competing in a meet and setting personal records in all his lifts two weeks later. He was sold on the effectiveness of chiropractic care and immediately set out to become a chiropractor.

Originally from Staten Island, NY, he worked as a computer programmer/analyst in Dallas TX, where he also attended Parker chiropractic school, graduating in 1990 and practiced until 2007. He then moved to NC, and added a Doctor of Pharmacy degree, but prefers the natural approach of chiropractic health care.

He has worked with NFL and NHL sports professionals and was the official backstage chiropractor for the Broadway Dallas Summer Musicals series for 5 years.

He also has a BA in Communications and an MA in Biblical Studies.

He also runs a freelance medical writing business and works as an on-ice official for amateur ice hockey.

Hobbies include ice hockey, weightlifting, playing and collecting guitars, music, reading, and travel, especially to Italy and Russia.

Dr. Ashley Crane, D.C. is a Chiropractor at ParkTowne Village

Since her first adjustment in high school, Dr. Crane has been excited about the benefits of chiropractic care. She always knew she wanted a degree in healthcare and found chiropractic to be a great avenue for that passion. Chiropractic care combines two of her greatest interests: anatomy and physiology, and the natural, holistic care. She is very grateful to have found her passion so early on in life. Her passion for chiropractic has transitioned into the care she gives each individual she treats.

Dr. Crane is a native of Buffalo, NY, and just moved to Charlotte from Wisconsin. She is very happy to be in the great state of North Carolina. She is most excited to enjoy the great weather and fun activities that North Carolina holds.

Outside of the office, Dr. Crane enjoys spending time outdoors. Some of her favorite activities include kayaking, swimming, hiking, and camping with her friends and with her fur-baby, Joon.

Dr. Tyler Jackson, D.C. is a Chiropractor at ParkTowne Village

Dr. Tyler Jackson is a native of Grayson, KY. He is a 2019 graduate of Sherman College of Chiropractic, and he is eager to serve the Charlotte community. Dr. Tyler has always had an interest in human sciences, but after being adjusted as a teenager when suffering from chronic migraines, he found his passion for chiropractic care. His passion for chiropractic transitions into the care and compassion he shows to each of his patients.

Outside of the office, Dr. Tyler loves spending time outdoors, running, cycling, supporting all Kentucky athletics, and attending NASCAR Races. He is excited to explore North Carolina with his friends and his Dog, Boomer by his side.
