Dr Peter Phillips is a native of upstate New York. He grew up in the village of Sackets Harbor. He attended Sackets Harbor H.S. and graduated in 1982. He spent the next 2 years at JCC acquiring a AS degree. He transferred to SUNY at Binghamton to complete the premed requirements necessary to enroll in Palmer College of Chiropractic. He graduated in 1987 with a Doctor of Chiropractic degree.
In 1988 Dr. Phillips began working as an associate doctor in Phillips Chiropractic Clinic, He became a partner in 1991. Dr Phillips was listed as an outstanding young man of America in 1987-90. Dr Phillips was named the Clark County Chiropractic Society’s Chiropractor of the year 1990-1992. He was president of the CCCA from 1991-1995. Dr. Phillips was the local Liaison for the WSCA from 1995-1997. Dr Phillips was a founding member (1989) and is a current member of the Association of Vancouver Business Professionals. Dr. Phillips was in the Kiwanis from 1990-1995. He served his church community as chair of the finance council from 1990-2011. Dr. Phillips started Dr. Peter Phillips PS in 2001. He has been the owner operator until he sold it in 2019. Dr Phillips has been a chiropractic “coach” for doctors looking to grow their practices from 2006-present. He has been a national trainer for the ProAdjuster company from 2006-2014, and has been a trainer for the administration of class 4 laser therapy 2013-2019.
Dr Phillips has been through numerous continuing education classes and programs on topics such as Chiropractic adjustive technique. 120 hour radiology program. 120 hour physiotherapy program. Patient suicide prevention. Patient life saving measures. Chiropractic philosophy. Nutrition. Weight loss. Life prolonging measures. Orthopedics. Kinesiotaping. Care of the aging patient. Dr. Phillips moved to Ohio in 2019 and is so excited to be here serving this community.
Dr. Kazimiera (Kaz) Zippert grew up in University Heights and attended Beaumont. She then completed her undergraduate studies at Westminster College where she played soccer and worked in the athletic training department; she was also involved in Greek life and student government. Dr. Kaz graduated from Westminster in 2012 with a BS in Biology. Prior to going to chiropractic school, she coached soccer at Beaumont and worked in the pediatric ICU at the Cleveland Clinic.
Dr. Kaz attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida, where she was involved in Sports Council and the Outreach Clinic. She then graduated Palmer College of Chiropractic in June of 2016. She has been working as a chiropractor in the greater Cleveland area ever since. Following chiropractic school, she completed her Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) certificate and is working towards a further certification in Sports Medicine. Preparing for these certificates involved many hours of both online and in person courses as well as knowledge based and practical examinations.
Dr. Kaz treats a wide variety of patients from babies only a few months old to seniors. Dr. Kaz is passionate about encouraging patients to maintain an active lifestyle to promote overall better health, by having a well-adjusted spine.
In her free time, Dr. Kaz likes spending time with her family, friends and her dog, Effie. She likes staying active by cycling, playing soccer, kayaking, and walking her dog. Dr. Kaz also enjoys playing bocce and camping.
