Dr. Amy Eades is a native Oregonian, graduating from Oregon City High School. Shortly after high school graduation, she moved to Atlanta, Georgia to study nutrition and chiropractic at Life University. Dr. Amy received her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Life University in 2001. Upon receipt of her degree, she returned to her home state and has been practicing ever since.
At the young age of 10, Dr. Amy injured her back riding horses, thus introducing her to the healing art of chiropractic. This life event sparked her passion for helping others to overcome injury and achieve wellness through this natural practice. Dr. Amy believes that regular chiropractic care is as much a part of your health and wellness routine as drinking water, good sleep and a healthy diet. In her personal time, she enjoys creating memories with her family, hunting, fishing and boating.
Dr. Ruslan Perederey is a chiropractic physician. He was born in Rostov, Russia and was raised in Portland, Oregon. He decided to pursue his chiropractic degree at the University of Western States right after obtaining his Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology. Upon completion of his studies and being awarded the degree of Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Perederey began treating patients in a private practice in Vancouver. He later joined us at The Joint Chiropractic since his treatment philosophy is based on providing preventative care.
His love for chiropractic began after his doctor spoke with him about the relief his patients got from chiropractic adjustments. After this, Dr. Perederey was eager to help others the same way. He is very compassionate and dedicated to his profession. His focus is on encouraging patients to seek the chiropractic care they need in order to live healthy lives at optimal levels.
His interests include hiking, bodybuilding, camping, and traveling among many others.
Dr. Marie Marler was born in California and raised in Washington DC. She graduated from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science in biochemistry. After graduation she lived in Japan for two years where she met her first chiropractor. He adjusted community members for free and she was able to watch while she waited her turn. She thought it was fascinating! Her interest in healthcare led her to a Master of Science in pharmacology from Georgetown University. During that time she felt concerned about the direction drug development was heading and decided to make a big change and begin chiropractic school. She moved to Portland and earned her Doctor of Chiropractic in 2016 from University of Western States.
While in school Dr. Marie met her match and got married. Her favorite thing to do, aside from helping patients attain and maintain a pain-free life, is spend time with her husband. They love to hike, grill and play board games of all kinds.
Dr. Marie knows that keeping the spine and joints moving freely will help keep people out of pain and maintain a higher quality of life. She became a chiropractor to help everyone she could get out and stay out of pain so they can do the things they love.
