“The best thing about being in the chiropractic field is having the ability to help patients relieve pain without the harmful side effects of medication,” Dr. Johnson says. “I love educating patients on how to treat musculoskeletal dysfunction as well as prevent future injury.”

Dr. Johnson grew up in Blackville and worked previously in Greenville.

Dr. Johnson says the coolest thing she ever did wasn’t so much about her. “I would have to say one of the best things ever was watching my nephew at 6 host a program at church, and watching my niece at 9 sing a solo in church,” she says. “It was cool because when I was their age, I was terrified to speak in public, and to see them do it made me so proud.”

Dr. Kayla Cooper has had a wide reach as a member of The Joint Chiropractic team since joining the staff in March 2019; she works out of several different locations, including Forest Acres, Killian Crossing, Harbison and Lexington.

She majored in biology and earned a minor in chemistry at Presbyterian College in Clinton before getting her doctorate of chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic Florida.

“The thing I love about being in the chiropractic field is being able to offer all people help regardless of anything else; everyone with a spine living in earth’s gravity is a great candidate for an excellent chiropractic patient,” she says. “It’s also gratifying to help with major current crisis, specifically the care of our military members and veterans and those who seek musculoskeletal pain relief through opioids. These populations of people are primed to be taken care of by excellent chiropractors. In doing so, our country will be healthier and have better posture.”

A product of Lexington, Dr. Cooper worked previously in Irmo and Orangeburg. In her spare time she loves traveling, fishing, going to the beach, and relaxing with friends and family, including husband Tyler, their two sons, and a German short-haired pointer named Rambo.

She had chiropractic ingrained in her at an early age.

“I was born in Iowa, less than an hour away from the oldest and first chiropractic college, Palmer,” Dr. Cooper says. “As my sister and I moved around with our family, our mother would always take us to see the chiropractor no matter where we lived, and she would call around looking for a ‘Palmer doc.’ So I knew that if I was going to become the ‘family chiropractor’ that my family always envisioned, I would go to Palmer.

“After college, I was unsure what to do, and was enrolled into the RN program at Midlands Tech. I realized one day that I wouldn’t be an awesome nurse or MD because I am very emotional and not good at bad news -- or bodily fluids. It was the second summer after I graduated from Presbyterian College that I started chiropractic school at Palmer in Florida. ... It was a perfect fit for me and I loved it.”

In her current role, she is able to practice where she grew up.

“I thoroughly enjoy being able to treat people from all sides of Columbia and enjoy being able to explore different sides of town as well,” she says.

Dr. Cooper says the one thing she always keeps in her refrigerator is filtered water “because water is the most important thing you can have.”

If she could have any four people from history at a fantasy dinner party, Dr. Cooper says she would include chiropractic pioneer BJ Palmer, Hippocrates, media mogul Oprah Winfrey, and baseball player Jim Abbott.

“Palmer developed this fine profession we call chiropractic, and Hippocrates was the father of modern medicine, so I would love to have a scholarly discussion with them about the current state of health and healthcare in the world,” she says. “Oprah is one of the most influential figures of my lifetime. I have watched her since I knew how to watch a television, and her journey as a woman in a man’s world is one that profoundly inspires me.

“As for Jim Abbott, I had his baseball care when I was a young girl, and the idea that he can become a major league pitcher with only one hand is very inspirational; what an example to the world that you can reach your dreams no matter your physical limitations.”

The coolest thing she has ever done, she says, “was creating two brand new humans.”

“Outside of that, participating in a 10-day clinic abroad in the West Indies was the coolest thing I’ve done. I had the privilege of being selected to go to an island called Bequia -- the second island in St. Vincent and the Grenadines -- to treat the population with chiropractic care,” Dr. Cooper says. “The whole island is 7 square miles and economically categorized as third world. The people were so excited that we were there, and we went to all corners of the island and every school on the island.

“Treating so many kids was the highlight for me. Watching them and their teachers and parents enjoy the benefits of chiropractic, which they do not typically have access to, was a real life-changing experience. The pure joy and happiness that exuded from the population on Bequia is something I try to carry with me all the time.

“And one of the bars had whale vertebra as bar stools. Coolest thing I have ever seen.”

Rose was apathetic and unwelcoming. She was busy on her cell phone and treated me as though I was bothering her. When I inquired about check in she said she was not able to check me in and I had to use the app. Then another patient walks in and gives his number without using his phone for check in. This happened repeatedly. She comes across as an unprofessional slacker. I had additional questions and she rudely told me to go sit down as she appeared to have more interest in her phone. Frustrated by the double standards displayed by the receptionist. Dr. Cooper was pleasant and professional, albeit, heavy handed to the point of discomfort.

DO NOT sign up with The Joint Chiropractic. They make it impossible to cancel citing that, "You signed the paperwork. There's a 3-month minimum subscription." When I told her to cancel further payments, she said I had to physically walk into the establishment and sign a physical paper. Even mortgages are signed through e-documents and The Joint Chiropractic is saying I have to physically walk-in? Unacceptable! Terribly inconvenient to need to walk in to the facility. I no longer live in the area. Your best bet is to cancel the card that they are auto-debiting. Terrible ethics!!!

Then a medical assistant came at 9:57, mind you they open at 10:00 ( where is the preparation time ) ! I get out my car at 9:57 and they were not ready . The lady at the desk , watch me drags T the door in 31 degree weather and tug on the door , NEVER GETTING UP …. Get to work on time , prepare for your patients!!!!!!!

Canceled with them when we moved in February 2024. They didn't actually cancel it, kept charging us through December 2025. When confronted, acted initially like it was our fault. Then they DID actually cancel it, but refused to issue a refund or credit, and the manager who was supposed to call us never did. Nice environment doesn't make up for shitty ethics.

As a 37 week pregnant momma who was, up until today, working full time as an RN, my visits at The Joint have become my favorite part of my week. Not only did my visits help baby turn from transverse positioning to labor-ready positioning, but I also feel instant relief from my hips and back being strained. I have attended this practice since September of 2024, signed up as a member under their wellness plan and always had great experiences until recently. I loved the chiropractors and service here- they were always great. I was involved in a minor car accident on 1/29/25 and tried to go for an appointment 2 weeks following- in which I was told I would need to go to my primary doctor first. I scheduled an appointment with my primary doctor only to be told I basically had whiplash. Attempted to return to The Joint on 2/19/25, informed the receptionist I could show them the diagnosis from my doctor on My Chart and they still refused service due to "open claims and insurance". Informed the receptionist that there was no open claim and no insurance involved as I was not suing the person who caused the accident, I have been paying for this plan out of pocket for months, and she still stated they could not see me because of "open claims and insurance". I informed her I'd like to cancel my plan, no need to pay $79 monthly if they are refusing to see me, in which she tried to offer me a lower plan for $20 monthly plus an additional $20 fee per visit. Reminded her it was pointless for me to have any plan with them since they were refusing service.

I was in severe pain when I called The Joint Chiropractor. I spoke with the receptionist Angie, who spoke calmly and very kind to me. She was able to convince me to come in that day. I arrived for my 3:00 pm appointment and Angie greeted me with a smile as she explain the procedures to check me in as a new patient. After I completed the sign-in process on the app I watched a short very informative video. Then doctor Jordan came out introduce himself and invited my husband and my self to the back. Doc Jordan began asking me several important questions about my medical history before he told me to lay down on the medical bed. He then started feeling the areas on my back that were causing the pain to be intolerable. Once he pinned pointed the areas he then explained what he was going to do to give me relief. Doc Jordan popped 2 areas on my back and then had me walk around. I was so thankful becsuse I could now walk without feeling pain from sciatica. Doc Jordan said I was really in bad condition and that I needed to come back twice a week. I then when to Angie who carefully explained the affordale packages that were available. I chose the $79 package along with my $29 first visit making my bill only $108, which I found to be so reasonable. That package includes several additional visits for the month of October. If your looking for a really good Chiropractor, please try the The Joint you will be so happy with the sevice, results and the cost.

I made an appointment for an adjustment and the chiropractor was extremely rude and unknowledgeable. When she found out that i was not planning on continuing with a longterm plan, she refused to give me an adjustment. So, i had to leave still in a lot of pain. Worse medical service i have ever had!

I utilized the $29 first time customer offer. The application process took a while, and because I was a walk-in, I still had to wait while others were seen. However, the wait was not super long and once I was called to the back, they were very proficient and informative. Because it was my first time, the doctor talked me through everything that she was doing. I had an great experience and I plan on going back very soon. The only thing I had a problem with was that I would’ve liked to sign up for a package to get more bang for my bucks, but I was told I l had to commit to a minimum of 2 months in order to sign up for any package deal.

I’m giving two stars because the “DR” actually helped a little bit with the realignment of some joints and bones but didn’t really help with my initial problem. She wasn’t very nice or welcoming and didn’t respond to my hello how are you doing..? Anyways that’s not even really the problem. My issue is with them not saying that the money you spend for the membership there is not refundable- with the basic membership you get 4 visits so if you don’t use them up for the month or just decide that you don’t want to go there anymore you’re wasting your money - which is a real let down because you’re basically pressured to pay right then and there. Additionally to cancel your membership you have to go there and sign to cancel…It just didn’t feel like a positive experience overall. Maybe it was just an off day for the doc but I won’t be going back and I would unfortunately wasted 80$. Employees should verbally inform customers that you’re money is not refundable.

I had the most horrific experience. After a brief conversation with the girl at the front desk, from the back Dr. Johnson showed up: with an angry face, a negative attitude ... I had hip pain for weeks and finally gave into my neighbor’s suggestion that I go here. I am so glad I did! The chiropractor I saw was able to identify exactly where my problem spots were and gave me a treatment that targeted my problems areas as well as some spots I didn’t realize were issues. I’ve dealt with back, hip and neck pain for so long I didn’t even realize how I’d just learned to live with it until she released the stiffness in that area. This is definitely a new part of my routine self care.

This review is in reference to a representative that I just spoke with on November 2, 2022. Time stamp was 8:48am HST, took about 7 minutes before she decided to hang up on me while I was talking, as well as remaining respectful with what I was saying. She completely disregarded my concerns about their business transactions on my account. Her tone was very condescending, and did not try to gain assistance from someone else to resolve my issue. I did not feel like a customer that did business with them previously and I also felt like she doesn’t care about the businesses mission for their customers. Which is from my understanding is Health and wellness. If you work somewhere where customers are being taken care of regarding their health and wellness, there should be some type of understanding, compassion, or empathy possessed. I did not experience anything, I felt as if she was there just for the paycheck. Customer service is a lost art at this point unfortunately. Please offer customer classes or some type of training on how to treat customers moving forward, or at least hire someone who has more passion for to assist the public. Also, she did not disclose her name unfortunately.

I've had chronic back pain for over a decade at age 35 and I drive over an hour, sometimes twice a week, just to see Dr. Johnson on Forest Drive. If she's not there, I come back when she's in. She's THAT good. She's professional, personable and actually take the time to explain the whats, whens, wheres and whys of the process as she's adjusting you. Worst place .. negative 100 stars .. treatment Does not Help you at all.. They are most Expensive places than any place.. they take care of the Patient or Customer not more than 3 or 4 Minutes on each Visit.. they have wellness plan that is $79 for 4 Visits .. that comes out to be 12 minutes .. and a person pays $ 79 for those 12 minutes.. that means they are charging $395 per hour .... I Don't know who makes $395 per hour in State of South Carolina.. they make u sign the contract which they will rush to make you sign and customer end up paying multiple months and don't even Realize that customer has been duped... I wish some one Make it Close that place...

I did the initial visit and I felt like my back issues weren’t thoroughly diagnosed. They did a few stretches on me, then put me in 3 different positions and that was it….they wanted to sell their packages and visits more than diagnosing and treating my actual problems. It was a waste. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Probably my bottom ranked Joint experience. I was new to this location, due to traveling for work. Dr didn't ask anything or say much. Yes my information was up on the screen, but the Dr didn't even go near my shoulder where the other joint chiropractors have been working as they've noted it's where my problems begin. The doctor seemed visibly annoyed when I asked if the Dr could take a look. Would not go back to this location.

I visited this location while in the area visiting family. I had to wait 10 mins for a receptionist to return to the desk to check me in as there was no one else in the office. When she arrived, she checked me in and I went back to see the doctor. The doctor didn’t warm me up or ask about my problem areas. She immediately pressure cracked my back, and sat me up to crack my neck. Since then, I’ve been having isolated neck pain and headaches behind my eye. I will never visit this location again.

Very POOR customer service across the board. I thought it was just an isolated incident, but seems to be my experience with two of the receptionist (a bigger girl with blonde her and skinny one with glasses). Needless to say, they misplaced my completed form with medical information and SSN. They don’t give you greetings of the day, their responses to basic questions is met with “I don’t know”. They act like customers are a burden. Maybe that is what one gets with a low quality chiropractor. I rather pay twice where receptionist are friendly and respectful!

Overall, my experiences here have been okay. A few times that someone was rushing and popped my hip out of place or didn’t crack my neck enough. Never really complained except for once . Today however , really was the final straw. I recently had an operation done and haven’t been able to go get adjusted. I called the Forrest Drive business to see how to cancel my plan seeing as I’m not going and paying $69 a month for me not to go is a waste of money I don’t have. A woman answered the phone and was rude. I do not know her name . She laughed and asked how I got my groceries since I’m not really mobile due to medication , and then hung up in my face before I was finished speaking. The Dr’s, though sometimes they rush, are decent at what they do, however that receptionist …should go work somewhere else. I will never renew again. To Cooper, Dr. Johnson, and Dr. P. Y’all are great. Wish you the best.

I walked in hoping to schedule a consultation, and the receptionist asked "What's the problem" while guest were in the lobby. I found her questioning and demeanor highly unprofessional and inappropriate. Why am I being asked to discuss my physical condition in the lobby with a non-medical health professional? Then she stated that they recommend getting a massage at Massage Envy and to come back if that doesn't work. What kind of establishment turns down a potential client and recommends another company? I will not be returning!

Came here with my husband because of the $29 deal for first timers. Staff wasn’t too pleasant but the adjustments we received were subpar at best. The chiropractor didn’t even work on us for 2 or 3 minutes total, pulled something in my neck while trying to adjust me, and was all in all a poor experience. I LOVE going to the chiropractor and have went most of my life so I was incredibly disappointed when I walked out feeling worse than I did walking in. Not worth the money or the short amount of time.

While here in the Columbia area for training, I attempted to get an appointment for an adjustment. Unfortunately, since I haven’t got an adjustment since 2019, I could not be seen. The representative said that it would take too long and it’s Saturday. Additionally, she told me the closing time is 3 when they close at 4. Moreover, adjustments take 10 minutes and the paperwork isn’t that intense. She she didn’t even offer to schedule an appointment which is more mind boggling. What is even more interesting, my buddy who’s white called without ever going to the joint and was able to get an appointment the same day when we called. I’m starting to see this trend when I call places of business for appointment based clients. My money is just as green as the next person.

I’m in and out usually less than 10minutes. I’ve 4-5 different people work on me. Only had one bad experience since I started going about a year ago. I have severe back pain and when the lady chose only did my upper back and neck I was back in two days later to have a redo. I’m usually only in once a week, but when I had to go a second time in the same week was unnecessary had she done everything originally. Otherwise they are fantastic. I find them very easy to talk to especially regarding any new pain or worse pain than usual. I highly recommend them to everyone that complains of joint or back pain. The best thing is that they are walk-in so you can go on your schedule. I find them conveniently located.

Please don’t go here. I am now in so much pain. Headaches I never had before. Neck aches too! I I’ve been seeing chiropractors for 6 years now. I went to the joint on recommendation. My only issue was a mid back issue. For some reason the lady cracked my neck. I now get chronic tension headaches and my neck always huts. I’m scared of going to another chiropractor. You ruined my life quality because you couldn’t take the time to listen. They don’t even warm you up before adjusting!

I've been going here for years. They know what they're doing! I highly recommend! Anytime I pull something or throw my back out, this is the first place I head to. Never had a problem with any adjustment I've received. Every doctors adjustment brings a different specialty and expertise that gives each experience a unique and different perspective. I have recommended several friends over the years and they've all loved it! Once a week, at your convenience, you'll leave with that feeling of, "feeling like jello".

I have been living with pain from an old injury and was only making it to my regular chiropractor a couple of times a year because even though he was great he was expensive and appointments generally had to be made weeks in advance. My boyfriend introduced me to this place and it has turned my life around. I get adjusted every week whether I feel I "need" to or not and for the first time in years I can go about living my very active lifestyle with little to no pain. Upsides: hundreds of locations around the country so I can get adjusted on the road, so so affordable, and military and vet pricing, and multiple doctors so if I have something new troubling me I don't have to wonder if my doctor can handle it or not because at least one of them can! Downsides: none? Sometimes there is a wait but waiting 30 minutes is nothing compared to 3 weeks for a regular doctor. LOVE THIS PLACE. I go to every single clinic in Cola depending on what doc I want to see (usually Singleton or Bell for my needs) or what errand I am running that day.

After hearing about this place from my brother and my roommate, I wanted to come check it out. The lady at the counter was very nice and helped me fill out the necessary paperwork. Dr. Johnson came out and introduced herself then took me to the back and gave me a full explanation of what she would do to relieve my pain and discomfort. Furthermore, she took the time to explain how my daily habits and posture affect my joints and my back and advised this also deals with the discomfort that I feel in my hands. I was also provided with details on how I should continue forward to avoid further issues. Definitely reccomend this place to everyone!

Love Drs D and Singleton!! They fixed me after another chiropractor passed my issue off as a virus. Dr. Norton is creepy. He makes me feel dirty after he looks at me. I was adjusted by him once and he did his thing but ignored my complaint, so his adjustment didn't help me at all. If it wasn't for Dr. Norton, it'd definitely be 5 stars!

Today was my first time visiting this location and overall i enjoyed the experience.The receptionist was very friendly and knowledgeable.The decor is dated but the employees know what they are doing and do a wonderful job.I look forward to returning in the future.

I typically go on feeling awful, but leave feeling remarkable and more at ease. The doctors are kind and each have their own techniques. I would advise the Forest Acres location to buy new waiting room furniture not for look, but ease of getting out of.

Very friendly, great Doctors on rotation(some work better for me than others, but all are good at adjustments), great prices. Gone to chiropractic offices for years and already know what care I need to do at home for my chronic pain so I only need adjustments. Remember to always tell them what's going on with your body that's different, even knee pain or shoulder pain make your back need a different adjustments

Absolutely love this place. I work 60 hours a week, always on my feet and always sore. Started seeing the chiropractor and everything feels so much better. Great prices, takes no time at all to be seen and adjusted, and everyone who works (I've been to both the Forest Dr and Harbison stores, and I'm sure Lexington store is just as great) there is fantastic, always happy to help. Definitely going to be coming back for weekly visits. Thank you!

BLUF: Expect extra charges you will need to contest. The Joint is a moderately professional chiropractor group; in a moderately clean building; with excessively stringent account cancelation policies - they don't even follow. Each location has a rotating staff of chiropractors and you will be seen by whomever is in that day without choice. The front area of the establishment is trendy and clean. Once you get past the receptionist, the decor is dated, faded, dull, and dusty. The company policy of providing written account cancelation and receiving an "extra" monthly charge for processing time is ridiculous. The problem is they don't even follow that and will attempt to charge you for another month on top of that. My wife and I are contesting the charges through our bank because the company is claiming their policies allow them enough flexibility to keep charging us. They are definitely not worth the trouble.

Would not recommend. You get what you pay for and there is a reason this place offers "cheap" chiropractic service. Further more, if you do not sign a "cancellation form" they will continue billing you. And if you do sign a cancellation form you better save a copy, because they will say you didn't and bill you. I would not give them your credit card info, unless you are prepared for a battle to get charges to cease.

My initial visit at the joint was amazing. The gentleman that did my adjustment asked me if I had any specific concerns and made sure I was comfortable. My visit today was not so. I arrived at opening and the front desk associate was having an issue logging in to her computer. Fine, it happens. I can even disregard the lack of professionalism handling that entire situation, but what bothered me is that the chiropractor that was in today (I don't remember his name) just told me to lie down, didn't ask about any concerns, made a few pops and sent me on my way. Initially I felt some relief and now a few hours later the pain is back. I understand it being busy but it felt like we were cattle going in and out. I think I'd rather spend money for chiropractic care in a doctor's office setting where time is actually taken to address problems. Kudos to the guy who helped me before. If I do go back (which isn't likely), I would only see the first chiropractor I saw there.

The Joint in Columbia was very nice at first. Then when you sign up for the 6 month plan they "gottcha"... They can treat you any way they want because they have a guaranteed income. The doctor was especially uncaring and harsh, with no concern for the effects. On the other hand, The clinic in Greenville is a whole different story. The doctor was kind, gentle, and caring...

Let me preface this by saying I have been a long time member of The Joint, and up until last night had been a huge proponent of their style of business. I even convinced my new husband to join, and several family members and friends. Upon arrival my husband and I had noticed that there were a four people filing out paper work and one "woman',more like a boisterous lout, sitting across from them. We had always received prompt, courteous service even during the busiest of times so we chose to scan our cards and wait. While we waited I was subjected to this woman's current personal crisis (including some debt she feels she doesn't owe, etc.), and her telephone chat with Bob about how "she should get a discount for bringing soo much business." Well, Bob, she drove away twice as many patrons as she brought you that evening. Four people walked out disgusted. Not to mention the sour taste left in the mouths of the people who watched as they danced around the exam area and horse played. My chiropractic appointment should be a chance for me to unwind and relax. Just the opposite occurred...I didn't even want the treatment once I was called, and now I am having to try to convince a VERY unhappy husband to even retain his membership. Someone needed to let these new members know that this was a place of business...no, more than that, this is a place of wellness....it is not a night club or frat party. UPDATE:I have to say that the owner was quick to respond, and addressed the problem professionally. It has kept me as a patient.

It all depends on who provides the service!!! I signed up for a membership after visiting once. That was a mistake. The first chiropractor did wonders to my neck, which was stiff after going to Universal in Orlando. The conversation was professional and wholly appropriate. A month later, I visited again. Another chiropractor actually made my back and neck hurt after the visit. Moreover, he made me uncomfortable by talking about God and his beliefs, and then randomly saying "wax on, wax off", in reference to "The Karate Kid". It just happens to be that I am Asian… Coincidence or not?

I am a high school Varsity Football and Baseball player. I have had lots of injuries with playing sports over the years and my parents suggested I give The Joint a try to help with my back and SI joint pain. While visiting an old friend in Columbia, SC , he wanted me to help him check out a new Chiropractic Clinic called "The Joint"... Since I have had previous chiropractic care in the past I welcomed his request. .. Doctors of Chiropractor perform adjustments with the intention to affect or correct alignment, motion, and or function of a vertebral joint which is normally called " Spinal Adjustment " I know in my case that most of my problems were associated with lower back pain and neck problems that would cause me headaches. On entering any medical facility like this a Chiropractic degree is required, so that area checked out here with licensed chiropractors listed. What was interesting is that they offer Chiropractic plans at a fairly low rate for a single appointment, month-to-month , and a premium plan which required a 6-month agreement but gave additional visits for $12... UNREAL !! Plus appointments were not required... Since my friend's insurance would not cover this type of care ...he wanted me ( since I have partial coverage with my insurance of $2000 a year) to tell him if this was a good deal...... That I can can say in the "affirmative" as my copay with my own Chiropractor is higher than those charged at the "Joint " Actually, I met the owner, Bob Keen, a medical professional, who saw the need for back and joint relief without resorting to pain meds which sometimes mask an alignment problem. He offered us a tour of the facility, and we were impressed with the professional atmosphere and the modern equipment.... Long Story Short... My friend signed up for the month to month plan because of his lower back pain, and was promptly seen, and experienced relief... You have to love the name " The Joint " I laughed the 1st time I heard it...but with insurance coverage spotty at best, it's about time that someone would make this type of care affordable and appointments when you need them. Just wish there was one located in my city... But if I'm in Columbia I can drop in anytime..BTY the location I visited was at 4710 Forest Drive, very nice location with a name .....YOU, will remember...

I have always been a supporter of chiropractic medicine until visiting this clinic. After about 2-3 months of weekly visits I started having tingling, numbness and significant pain along the lower and mid-portions of my back. When I went in for my next visit, not only did the practitioner brush off my concerns but insisted they had nothing to do with the issue and that I was fine. After that visit I was so offended by the way my issue was handled I told them I was not coming back again. They said NOTHING about their policy that requires handwritten cancellation and let me leave. I come to find out that they have been billing my credit card for 6 MONTHS. To be clear here, not only did they continue to auto-charge my account for the original 6 month agreement but ALSO extended another 6 MONTH contract without any permission whatsoever. What a waste of time, money and effort. Not to mention a back injury that continues to plague me daily from their "treatment." Do not go here! They were nothing but unhelpful scammers.

After going to a Chiropractor that charged $40/adjustment, paying $59 for 4 adjustments is amazing. They rotate Chiropractors- no telling who you will get when you go in. Some I like better than others. I have had about 5 different doctors since starting treatment in November. I have chronic migraines and going here helps a lot. I can go in with a headache and walk out feeling a million times better. It has really helped, and for the price you can't beat it.

It was a dynamically different chiropractic clinic. The atmosphere felt open and less like a cheap doctors office. I loved the fact that extensive time was taken to understand what I have already been diagnosed and what care has already been done. So many times if feels like the provider is only half listening and will provide me the same care. The chiropractor explained as he was adjusting why he was doing things differently. It felt like it was less about the aesthetic of hearing a popping sound and more about long term recovery.

There are a lot of mixed reviews and here is the deal: their hours are super convenient, no appointment needed, quick and cheap. This place is perfect for people with mild to moderate discomfort with their back. I get migraines and my SI joint pops out a lot, I've had great luck with numerous joint locations. You will likely get different practitioners when you go frequently so not everyone is going to get to know you on a personal level, that's the only down side. You can always call ahead to see if the doctor you like is working that day - I've had to do that at different locations because only certain people could adjust me well. For the money you pay this is a great service. They can't control how their clients act, and I appreciate Dr. Norton's friendliness. Most of the complaints I see about this location are because people didn't understand their contract, they didn't like certain people there, etc. You pay a cheap price to keep a monthly contract and need to cancel in advance like any contract- or you can pay $40 + per visit elsewhere. So, if you have any serious issues with your back, like needing surgery and adjustments are not going to fix your problem, or are expecting a dedicated provider this might not be the place for you. If you know adjustments help you and you want to have an inexpensive easy place to go - this is the place.
