Meet The Doctors
Dr. Pat Kolwaite was born in Atlanta, GA and raised in different parts of the country, including Little Rock and Syracuse, NY. He received his undergraduate degree in Microbiology from Auburn University in 1997. While a student at Auburn, he worked for the Tigers football team and saw the benefits and effects chiropractic care had on injured players. He decided that he wanted to deliver the same benefits to others and was accepted at Life University in Atlanta, GA, and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2001.
Dr. Pat married his college sweetheart, Monika, and moved to her hometown of Memphis upon graduation. He founded and owned Mid-South Chiropractic Center and is proficient in many chiropractic techniques, most often utilizing Diversified, Thompson Drop, and Activator techniques. Seeing the tremendous benefits that routine chiropractic care gave to people’s life, but frustrated by insurance restrictions and expensive out of pocket costs to the patient, he decided to bring The Joint Chiropractic to the Memphis area.
“The everyday stresses that cause so many of our aches and pains don’t go away. People still have to go back to work the next day or continue to put strains on themselves that their body wasn’t intended for. That’s what I love about The Joint. It allows people to affordably receive the care that they need and delivers it in a manner that is convenient to almost everyone’s lifestyle.”
In 2008, he was named to the Memphis Business Journal’s Top 40 under 40. He was named Franchisee of the Year by The Joint in 2017, and a finalist for the Memphis Small Businessman of the Year. In 2018, Dr. Pat became a Regional Developer for The Joint Chiropractic, helping to open The Joint locations throughout the states of Alabama. Mississippi, and Louisiana. Dr. Pat and Monika have two sons, Josh and Connor. As a family, they enjoy spending time outdoors, going to the lake, and cheering on their Tigers (the Auburn kind, but they love the Memphis Tigers too!).
Dr. Nickita Pok is a dedicated and enthusiasc chiropractor who joined The Joint Chiropracc team in 2025. Originally from Westminster, California, he now resides in Memphis, Tennessee. Dr. Pok earned his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB), and completed his Doctor of Chiropracc degree at Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2024.
As a cerfied ELDOA Trainer, Dr. Pok has a passion for structural health and spinal wellness. His professional mission is both hearelt and ambious: “Heal the world with my hands.”
Outside the clinic, Dr. Pok enjoys spending me with his lovely wife, staying grounded in his faith, and never going anywhere without his Bible—the one item he can’t live without. His caring approach, fresh perspecve, and dedicaon to whole-body wellness make him a valued addion to the team.
Dr. Rob Mabry is a dedicated chiropractor with 26 years of experience, graduating from Life University in 1999. He holds both his undergraduate and chiropractic degrees from Life University, and has built a career focused on sports injuries, nutrition, and physical fitness.
Rob’s personal and professional passions intersect through his commitment to health, performance, and the outdoors. Outside the clinic, he's an avid hunter and outdoorsman who enjoys training and working with his Chesapeake Bay Retrievers—Muddy, Wishbone, and Fiona—in field trials.
His favorite food is Tex-Mex, and he says he couldn’t live without his dogs.
