I had a very disappointing experience canceling my membership. I submitted the cancellation form that was provided to me, clearly indicating that I wanted to cancel my joint membership. Despite that, my membership was never canceled, and I continued to be charged. I only discovered the issue after another payment was withdrawn. When I contacted the office, I was told I had completed the “wrong” form—the very form their office had sent me. My intent to cancel was clear from the beginning, and I don’t believe customers should be held responsible for an internal paperwork mistake. In addition to the cancellation issues, my experiences at both the Cookeville and Mount Juliet locations were underwhelming. I did not feel the chiropractors provided the level of expertise or care I was expecting. Good customer service includes making the cancellation process straightforward and honoring a customer’s clearly stated request. Unfortunately, that was not my experience.

Awful customer service with both the front desk and doctor. I had a 12:30 appointment, and my husband had a 1pm. I did my paperwork in 5 mins, and they took multiple walk ins while I waited. The front desk waited half an hour to bring my paperwork back, after me asking if I would be done by 1:45 when I got there, which she also couldn’t really answer except that appts take 30-45 mins including paperwork. At 1pm I asked the doctor the wait and she said I would have to wait til she got to the others, all who got there after I had finished my paperwork and the front desk had us waiting in the lobby. She said since the front desk just brought my paper back, I would have to wait til she was done. The doctor was only apologetic when I told I was leaving and she just lost customers. Also there so privacy while people just wait for their turn a few feet away while you get adjusted.

Everything was good. I had a very good experience with the doctor Aspen, and I really like her and her care. The only issue I had was with the front desk staff during payment. I initially provided my Apple Card, but it was not accepted and I was told a physical card was required. When I gave my physical card, the staff member wrote down the full card number and my personal information, which made me uncomfortable due to security and privacy concerns. The Joint is a great place for affordable and quick chiropractic care depending where you are across the city of Nashville. I've been a member over 10 years and am always relieved knowing when I travel I can also get adjusted across the US. More recently, Dr. Donny in Brentwood, Dr. Jaimie in Antioch and Dr. Brandon in Mount Juliet are my personal favorites for their very specific adjustments to my chronic spinal needs. They have all gone above and beyond to read x-rays, use specific technique when needed, made recommendations, and will also do some trigger and muscle point treatment when they have the time. They are always professional and polite. I appreciate that you can find the one that works for you to help you get out of pain and function at a higher level for a very reasonable price. My advice would be to try a few different ones that work best for you and then depending on where you are in your work or life routine, just pop on in and leave feeling better! I was visiting in Nashville and needed an adjustment desperately. I have been a member in another state but wasn't current and hadn't been in a long time. When I went in I was required to fill out an update form. Ok, no biggie. I turned in my form and two people walked in, scanned their key tags and went straight to the back. I asked why this happened and was told 'because they are members'. Another person came in, scanned and walked straight back. I had already been there for 30 mins and was on a tight schedule that day. I asked if I was going to be sitting there all day waiting as long as members came in and went straight back. The sweet gal shrugged her shoulders and kind of nodded her head, like 'yeah, this is the way it happens.' I said, "well if it happens again, I'm leaving." It seemed as if there was a bit of a break, I figured the gal in the back was maybe reading my chart, then another fella walked in, scanned and went to the back. So I got up and looked at the gal incredulously, said, "I don't know what else to do" and left. MY ADVICE TO ANYONE NEW OR VISITING: STAY AWAY FROM THIS THE JOINT location!! New people or unregistered members will not be given any preference or respect. Find another location. This is not typical behavior for any other The Joint I've been to.

I've been a patient for some time. Recently it seems like there's a revolving door of Chiropractors, making it difficult to build a relationship of trust. With that said, it also seems no matter what the ailment is it's the same 5 step routine with no physical exam or individual care. Walked in at 3pm and needed a quick adjustment as I had been doing back breaking work all day. Was told that because it was 3pm and they close at 4pm, they were no longer taking walk ins. You should have that message on your front door. It takes <5 minutes to be adjusted. I guess you guys just don’t like making money.

Tried to stop in and get an adjustment while in town for business, I go to The Joint in another state where I live. Jenna at the front desk said the couldn't take me as a walk in after 3pm, even though they don't close until 4pm (I arrived at 3:03pm) I asked if they had appointments coming in the rest of the day, she said no. There was no one waiting. I asked her again, you won't see me even though it's 3:03, there's no one waiting and don't have any appointments? She said they wouldn't. Customer service is wild these days but having someone work your front desk that behaves like that with patients is unreal. Curious, I called from the parking lot and tried to make an appointment and she said they stop taking those at 3. So really, they don't see patients the last hour of the day.

Front desk was exceptionally nice i think their name is jake and they explained everything so well for me and answered all and any of my questions without hesitation and made me feel safe about my decision. Dr.Ellie really showed out and took in every detail i explained to her and didn’t make me feel rushed with a room full of patients waiting she really gave me the time of day and undivided attention to go through it all and she explained everything so well for someone with zero knowledge and just problems. I came in expecting a single 1 time visit but came out with more of a motivation to keep coming and take care of myself more. Truly the best decision of my life, I am excited to return soon!

Most of the time, things are fine. However, there's one doc. That gets on my nerves. Forgot his name sadly, but I'm sure they know who I'm referring to. My last adjustment was a while ago. I moved from NY to TN recently. I had the absolute best chiropractor in NY so I know a thing or two about the practice. The guy in NY never tried to sell me anything. And also, never got visibly frustrated when I wasn't buying the plan. He also didn't do a lackluster job. All things the guy at the joint does. High pressure sales, and lackluster results of you don't buy. I sell cars, so believe me, if I don't want something, you're not gonna close me. I write the review now as I typically require a chiropractor twice a year, and found one that makes things alot more simple, without feeling like the quality of work they do depends on how much money I'm willing to spend.

This is a great group of people that I have been fortunate enough to come across. First Misty she is fantastic she helps with the appointments she makes scheduling so easy and she's always there to help in any way that she can. The absolute best! I would say give each therapist a try and see which one works for you! Each one has a different technique while all still being beneficial!!! Oh, I feel extremely uncomfortable writing this review because I really don’t understand what happened. So a short backstory is I had a membership with another location 45 minutes away from this location earlier this year. But I moved so I canceled that location till I could reestablish here at another center. I was told that I would have the ability to go to any joint in America and I already filled out all the preliminary documentation that was needed and submitted all of the stuff over a year ago. So today when I went to his office, I was refused service due to lack of documentation, which makes no sense, because I literally provided all of the documentation that they were referencing to my whole location and when I asked them if they could just contact my home location to see if they could get whatever files that they were questioning or needed instead of me having to go back to the lengthy process of getting those documents or being singing, the chiropractor, flat out refused. He was very concerned about having some malpractice lawsuit, and that truly made me fear for my safety in the safety of anyone who is in the care of the man. So please be careful and I highly don’t recommend going to this location. There are so many amazing locations across the US and across Tennessee that you should not put your life in danger by going to this location. I’m not understanding what the issue is or was and I called corporate office to ask if this procedure was normal or if this process is something new or if there was a reason why I would be refuse service today and I was told that, I should not have been refuse service and that they see in the system where I was adjusted this year and that I’ve been a member since last year so there’s no reason for this chiropractor to turn me away. And that makes me feel very uncomfortable, so I don’t know if it was racially motivated or if it’s because I didn’t come in with my diamond earings in my huge diamond ring on my finger or if it’s because I’m just wearing my company’s T-shirt instead of my work attire or if it’s because I’m a walk in and they assumed that I was not coming to establish care or what the reason is but there’s definitely some of the various intent in there, and I am not comfortable with it at all. So please be careful, please choose another location. I am honestly shocked to even ride a review like this because I love this company so much but this location is not it. I personally will not go back, especially if that chiropractor is there which sucks because my job is literally in walking distance of this location and I come into this plaza often for a lunch and to go to the store so it’s very unfortunate.

So I like going to the joint chiropractor cause they help with my lower back pain but the chiropractors are very condescending. My chiropractor on staff at the brentwood shoppes location was upset that I hadn’t come back to see him in three months. He told me he couldn’t manage my back pain if I only come back to see him every three months. He DID NOT ask anything about my personal life to maybe figure out why I couldn’t come back often. Maybe cause I’m a student pharmacist who goes to class everyday and works a lot to pay for rent? Maybe money is tight cause it’s expensive? Who knows. He also got a heavy chip on his shoulder when I asked him if my back pain could be something beyond chiropractic help. Like honey I came for a back adjustment not to hear a lecture from you about why you’re a doctor but thank you anyway.

This Review is long overdue for Dr. Ryan. I was thrown off a banana boat messed up my SI Joint & rib issues. After 6mo of therapy & going to the wrong chiropractor- I got worse & I could barely walk. The joint is a great product if you’re familiar with chiropractic care and comfortable advocating for specific adjustments. There’s a wide variability in adjustments between different providers and clinics. There’s a lot of mobility in my spine, and some of the chiropractors are better about taking the time to create a individualised adjustment (adding a bolster, asking me where I’m experiencing discomfort, etc) while others quickly give their standard adjustment before I’m rushed out the door. I’ve been able to find my preferred providers, but the flexibility of having different clinics is moot when the experience varies so deeply between doctors. 5/10

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!! I was having continuous back pain around my hips and lower back for 5 days straight and knew something was wrong. It got to a point where I was unable to stand up for more than 2 minutes. I decided to go to The Joint for my first chiropractic experience ever to see if they could help me. I was in and out in 20 min. I was out of alignment in 3 places and AS SOON as they fixed me up the pain was 100% GONE!!! I now go biweekly and LOVE IT! Very efficient & effective way to get your back adjusted! I never see the chiropractor or get my back adjusted, but today woke up with the worst pain, and the doctor at the Joint saw me immediately and she knew exactly which ribs to put back in place and left me with helpful after care tips. Happy with this place, will probably come back for more, or at least it’s good to know this place is here when I need it!

I was having really bad headaches from my TMJ For weeks. I called this clinic and was blown away by the rapid service and efficiency. I got there and was seen in minutes. I came in with upper back pain that my PCP just wanted to treat with medicine. I hate taking pills because the pain eventually comes back. This was my first experience chiropractic care. I learned a lot through it. Each chiropractor was very friendly. My preference was more of the power adjusters, but that's just a personal preference. Make sure you understand the wellness program terms. I paid for my first visit on the 31st of a month and then proceeded to sign up for the wellness program that same visit. I went in on the 31st of another month (on the month I opted out) to use my 4th visit, but was unable to because it actually just ran through the 30th. So not anything the Joint did wrong, but know the program doesn't run from the first of the month to the last. Overall, they were great and I'd recommend and use them again. My specific situation was back pain. As far as the chiropractor world, I think they have a great thing going.

The doctors are very versatile in their techniques and accommodating as far as being more gentle or more forceful. They can use the Thompson drop tables well, which is really important to me. I've gone to a lot of chiropractors. The Joint is a great way to go for maintenance. However, if you've never gone to a chiropractor and are in a lot of pain, I suggest going somewhere for x-rays first. Once you know what the problem is, you can make better decisions about getting adjusted (or not). This Joint and the location in Cool Springs are both excellent for adjustments.

Excellent experience today on my first visit at The Joint, the Chiropractic practice in Brentwood. From the warm greeting when I first walked in, to the consultive approach Dr. Walters took time to go over my neck issue and listen to me, before the adjustment, it was a great experience. The adjustment Dr. Walters did was pain free and very relieving. I'm quite sure I'll be a return patient especially since it's easy to get in and out of and located in Brentwood (same plaza as Target and Panera Bread). Very convenient to Crieve Hall, Brentwood and Nashville. I highly recamend The Joint in Brentwood.

This place is great! I have been getting adjustments for the last 4 years and this was by far one of the best I have ever gotten. Being a wrestler at West Point has put a lot of strain on my lower back and neck, but after my visit with Dr. Walters I left feeling light on my feet and without any back or neck pain. I love the chiropractors. Dr. Ryan is very personable and professional. However, I'm disappointed that additional adjustments went up 100% without any notice whatsoever. A very nasty surprise when I went in on 4/5/16 and was told on the spot. Still cheaper than most chiropractor's, but I'm suddenly finding them not as affordable. My bill just doubled since I feel the need to go about 9 times in a month. So now I'm going to have to tone back on adjustments and bear through pain because I feel like I can't afford it as much as I used to. Whoever sends out the emails to keep customers updated let the ball completely drop on this one. That's no way to treat a customer. I would understand a couple of dollars jump, it would've been easier to swallow; but either way, you let a customer know in advance and not surprise them at the door. I would also prefer reminders of extra visits told to me in hushed tones. I feel like it's announced to the whole room and I have no privacy.

Love coming here! Both Dr.'s are very clear in the fact that their goal is for a routine and maintenance approach. If you haven't been to a chiropractor in months/years don't think you can come once every other week and expect miracles - you just don't have realistic expectations and that isn't the Dr.'s fault. I committed to coming twice a week for the first month after not seeing a chiropractor regularly in years and I feel amazing now. I had been limping over the past year from a hip injury and have finally quit favoring that leg - a year of physical therapy hasn't even fully accomplished that! It's now been two months of regular visits and The Joint - Brentwood is one of my favorite places to stop in during the week. 15 minutes - in & out. Highly, highly recommend.
