Meet The Doctors

Dr. Sandra Setzer, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Turkey Creek

Dr. Sandra Setzer, "Dr. Sandy", is originally from Michigan but has lived in East Tennessee since she was 5. She grew up with two physical therapist parents and had intended on going that route herself until meeting her father-in-law, Dr. Williem Kelley, D.C. While she was a student at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, she experienced lower back and neck pain from "climbing the Hill" on campus, studying, and working retail. Chiropractic care helped with those issues.

After completing her bachelor's degree in Psychology at UTK in 2000. She went down to Marietta, GA to continue her education towards becoming a Doctor of Chiropractic at Life University. In 2004 she began her practice in Knoxville. She began working toward educating people about chiropractic and pregnancy care. This process of educating others and becoming pregnant herself fueled her passion for family and prenatal care in the chiropractic world. She is a certified in the "Webster's In-Utero Constraint Technique" practitioner. The Webster's technique can help to correct breech presentations of the baby and aid mothers in having more comfortable pregnancies.

When not caring for her patients, she can be found spending time with her husband Jason and two children Ian and Avery. Together they enjoy school and sporting events such as baseball and cheerleader.

Dr. Zackery Harper, D.C. is a Chiropractor at Turkey Creek

Dr. Zackery Harper, “Dr. Zack”, was born and raised in East Tennessee and moved to Knoxville in 2008. He has a background as both a Surgical Technologist and a Registered Nurse. From an early age, Dr. Zack suffered with severe migraine headaches that worsened over time. After pursuing many unsuccessful medical treatments, he discovered tremendous, lasting relief through specific chiropractic adjustments. This sparked his initial interest to pursue his career in Chiropractic. Drawing on his diverse background in healthcare, along with his personal experience provides him the ability to deliver a well-rounded approach to patient care.

Dr. Zack earned his Associate of Applied Science degree in Nursing at Roane State Community College in 2012 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology at Excelsior College in 2018. He graduated from Sherman College of Chiropractic in 2018 with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. After graduation, he returned to Knoxville where he has been in practice for the past 2 years. He holds Advanced Proficiency certification in the Activator Technique as well as additional board certifications in the evaluation and adjustment of upper cervical spine (neck) misalignments. He enjoys helping patients with a broad variety of spinal and extremity conditions and loves taking care of young patients and the elderly. His promise to his patients is that he will take the time to listen and work with them to develop the best course of action to address their health concerns.

When he is not caring for his patients, he enjoys playing the violin, traveling, spending time relaxing in the mountains, and being with his friends and family.
